She got no help here and her child was in our system by then and her husband has been paying taxes since I got him a job here 3 day a after landing. Once I just searched on google masters degree from foreign country, i literally got 100s of adds for months about Canadian, australian, german and US universities, So if i will take admission in those unis after paying whole saving of my family i atleast want to have rights to work in that country otherwise why would i leave my country as i still have middle class life here. And also it's the responsiblity of any unis in the world that if anyone comes to your country for than they should atleast have right to work for the same number of yr as he spent in his course so that he can earn back same amout which he paid for the tuition fees, suppose if i does my Master's from US for which i have to pay atlest 80-100k including living cost and to earn back that same amount of money in the india from best paying companies will take atleast 7-8yrs it's just about getting same amount of money back in account and to make saving of that much money will atleast take 20yrs then tell me why should some go for education in foreign countires if he doesn't get chance to earn that back, College fees are usually decided on PPP terms of the freshers job in that country that why atleast giving chance for work for the same amount of time of the total course time is a good thing otherwise just stop sending adds, just stop scamming indians, and just close your billion dollor economy which works on fees of indian student. Even many african specially nigerian they qualifies to work in india if they did any of his degree from india.

I would be willing to pay a lot more for college tuition as a Canadian citizen if it means less competition for housing and good jobs. These immigrants are taking and taking and taking from Canadian born citizens and making this country unrecognizable.

I went through this twice during COVID. Two tenants stopped paying one after the other and lost over 50k. Sadly, the only option is to take her to small claims court but in order to do that you need an eviction order and sheriff documents. Even if he does get to that point, they can o lay garnish her wages and at that point, she can avoid paying and jump from place to place changing addresses info and job details. Professional renters know the system and they work it to screw the landlords. One tenant I had actually believed that if they rent the house they “own the home”. Even if you call the police they won’t do anything. If the government just allowed the police to arrest and charge these people I think it would help but they don’t. It’s horrible. I’m actually thinking of selling my home because of the financial burden it’s been post COVID. I have good tenants now but only after using most of the equity to pay off the damage and missed rent from the last 3 tenants….

Construction has slowed down here , no one can afford anything , I live in Guelph Ontario on the main floor of a house with three bedrooms , and paying $1800 , I'm one of the lucky ones because my good friend bought this house in 2012 and I moved in , I was paying $1300 up until he sold it three years ago in 2021 and the new owners jacked the price to $1600 for fair market value , we didn't think he could raise it that much but he was able to because of new ownership, as of now 2024 , almost $1800 still not bad for this area , the trick nowadays is to stay put anywhere you are

After having moved from my birth province of Ontario to Québec (2years), I moved back in Ontario because Eastern Ontario ( Ottawa) is the best place and more affordable to live. You pay alot more taxe in Québec.

Hey buddy, I feel like you get a lot of grief from Canadians about negative issues with Americans so I thought you might like this: Many years ago my friend and I drove into Rochester NY from Lake Erie Ontario. We stopped at a Starbucks and when it came time to pay the batista looked at my pink money like it was monopoly money. Since they didn't accept Canadian currency, they gave us our coffees for free. Pretty decent American politeness if you ask me.
