what was the month and year when you got invite from ontario ?.........I am quite sure that must be sometime in 2017.......because express entry cutoff 440 was in 2018 or 2017......but in 2018 I don't think Ontario was giving tech targeted invites......they did in 2019, 2020 and I suppose also in 2017 (when u got the invite as per my guess)

The first time i travelled across Canada on a road trip, heading west, going town to town along the TransCanada Hiway, i choose a black friend to accompany me. I choose him because he was really easy to get along with and i knew he was an auto mechanics enthusiast, which, as it turned out came in handy on the trip. We were on the road for a few months. I grew up in a city in a little multicultural bubble of liberalism and was taught as a child not to judge others based on skin colour or sex; to be respectful towards people of all ilks and ethnicities. The thing is, i was young enough to not really realize that i was in a bubble. As we travelled though parts of Saskatchewan and Alberta, where there are few to no blacks in many towns, i began to realize that Canada is quite racist in the outback and little towns mid country. I was surprised and actually angered by it. My friend took it in stride however. For example, i was meeting people, getting invited home for dinner and meet the wife and kids sort of thing, and my friend couldn't even get a conversation going with most people, they just totally ignored him and gave him a wide berth. I know underlying all of that is just the fear of an unknown quantity and the fact that a lot of Canadians watch American news sometimes which tends to be chock full of black in gang wars, shooting each other and committing violent crime so they get a false view of black culture because the news at that time rarely showed blacks unless they were committing a crime.

Why don't all the nations like US and Canada try to help fix what is happening from the places these people are fleeing, especially if they are murder capitals? They can recruit these migrants to form coalitions to rebuild their nation. What if they are really are going to suffer there, without outside intervention, by being recruited, instead, into gangs or be killed or raped? If we send troops to the middle east for our vested interest, then don't we also have at least some vested interest to send troops in Honduras and El Salvador? I'm a US expat living in China. In china, you cannot get a green card. I leave every 60 days because I can only stay for up to 60 days, just to turn around and come right back that same day. Once i'm back in China, I need to register my address with the police, and update my resident card. To get a 60 day business visa here, I had to get a Chinese company send me an invite, then need it to get approved. The process was expensive. But I follow Chinese law, and respect it with everything that I am. This is China and this is there laws. So who is VICE to make a victim out of this person? Just a crock of shit. This guy can go to many many countries around the world. India, Indonesia, even China but from the looks of it, this guy could not handle China.
