We need to ramp up the border security. What makes them think they can avoid deportation long term?? What makes them think they deserve assistance while our own people are suffering and dying on the streets? Why should we care about immigrants when we can't help our own people??! Make it make sense!! I didn't agree to give illegals a free ride while working my a$$ off while the threat of homelessness or extreme poverty hanging over my head every effing day!!!

We each have our little flickers of time here... No one else will ever know much, if any, of what it is like to be who we are, and for the most part no one will ever really care. However, perhaps it is less about getting a potential course of life right, and more about attempting to do so with an effort of self honesty and virtue. To live a life that can be looked back on with the knowledge that some of our decisions were wrong in their effects, but right in their intention of not selling ourselves short. Ultimately no matter what we do or say or believe, there will always be a great many who disagree, or judge, or become upset by our decisions. It is of essential importance that we ensure that among those people, we are not one of them.

I was in the Navy 1976-1996. I came in when women were looked down on by sailors. They had their reasons, but things changed in the 80s. Women served on ships, filled most rates, flew planes, captained commands on shore and at sea (surface and sub). There were issues with gays, and now there's this. I have always thought that as long as one can do the job and not discredit the Navy, have at it and I'm glad to serve with you. USN / USNR E-8 retired

Just because I’m not gay nor am I transgender I have respect for them as long as they’re good people but that goes for straight people too!\nI hate when people discriminate based on not understanding or respecting others.
