Also another inaccuracy here is that debt is an absolute necessity to make ends meet. Maybe if you have children or dependents, but as a single person i do not own a credit card and pay out of pocket for everything. YES it is extremely difficult and I am constantly playing it close to the chest, but I am always making ends meet and with the practice of active gratitude im reasonably content with my life. \nI think people are faaaar too used to comfort and will not know what to do when the shit really hits the fan.

I pay $1475 per month all included and I have a large dog. My son lives in Victoria in the top floor of a house in the beautiful Gorge neighbourhood: 1400 sq.ft., 2 bedrooms all utilities included for $1800. My sister has a 3 bedroom townhouse in Victoria, she pays $1500 per month (no utilities included). I only wish nobody wanted to live in Canada. I have seen the population here explode in recent years to the point where many people are having trouble finding housing and our infrastructures are not keeping up to the numbers. And they KEEP COMNG. PLEASE EVERYONE STOP COMING TO CANADA!!! ESPECIALLY STOP COMING TO BC! AND THAT INCLUDES ALL THE OTHER CANADIANS WHO KEEP MOVING TO BC. STAY HOME!! This is the same issue with countries with aging population. They don't need the people. They need high skilled Cheap labor and someone to pay taxes. Then they will blame everything on immigration. The quality of medical care is comparable between the 2 countries, however Americans still have a shorter life expectancy (compared to all other developed nations, not just Canada) because co-pays, deductibles, and insurance premiums keep people from getting earlier diagnosis’ that would save their lives. \n\nI find that Americans see Canadian healthcare through an American lens, thinking that we can only go to certain doctors, cannot get second opinions, or that the medical industry isn’t competitive but none of that is true. Our healthcare allows us to go to go anywhere and to get second opinions if needed. We pay zero out of pocket and never see a bill.

Real international student brings money and high quality people to Canada. However,there are some students coming to Canada aiming to work and to gain income back home. Why entrepreneurs and start up programs that can bring money to Canada takes years (over 3 years) to process and the number of applications is shrinking. Canada needs money to sustains the economy. Importing thousands and thousands of servants but not enough money to pay? Why don’t they look into the infrastructure and the system of the country when planning their immigration policies? The money behind these policies must be big.

This isn't new. International students pay more to attend our universities, and always have. That's why universities prefer international students over Canadian citizens. As far as claiming asylum...big deal. That's been happening ever since Europeans came here, especially the white waves after WW's 1&2. Now, descendants of those people, are saying 'no more immigration'.

I can tell you one of the major reasons. It is the fact that these immigrants from India do not want to assimilate into Canada. Instead they bring their ways with them into Canada and some of those “ways”, are not acceptable in Canada. One example of that is the whole using the bathroom on the beach. But one that hits hard for me is the insane amount of immigrants that are harvesting spawning salmon with nets, without any of the properly paperwork that is needed to fish salmon with a rod. Using a net is illegal, I know they know it because when I catch them doing this. They become quiet and all of a sudden, after hearing them just speaking English, they pretend they do not know English… I can tell you this is all true. The other thing I have seen with my eyes is shop lifting from the local grocery store. I have never seen that before, not ever in all my years living here. It would be somewhat different if they were stealing essential items and essential foods. But they are not doing that, they are stealing all the luxury items. I am a white Canadian and I am proud of it, but guess what. I am also proud of the fact that I have a doctor that came from India and his family is thriving here. It makes me proud that he chose our country try to come to, with his educational background, it also makes me proud that he and his family have taken the time to try and assimilate into our culture. When I say assimilate by the way, I do not want them or and immigrant to completely abandon their cultures, I just would prefer it if they assimilate to the point where we can have a healthy community instead of all these separate cultural areas in our towns and cities. I love the fact that you spoke some harsh truths here sir, much respect to you and your family sir. I hope you can continue making such informative videos for people to learn from. The other thing I have to add is that the word racism is thrown around too much and too easily in our current woke cultural climate here in Canada and this is just making the immigration issues worse because it produces a culture of fear for those Canadians that would like to help educate those immigrants that need help. But they do not do so because they are afraid of being labeled a racist or some other word and having their livelihoods and overall lives ruined. I am in a position in life where I do not care if people want to say such things about me. I am also well educated and in the position to come up with well articulated arguments in my defence. My main issue with immigration that bothers me more than the rest not only affects us Canadians but also affects the immigrants as well. Ok so before mass immigration was a thing here in Canada our healthcare system that we all used to be extremely proud of the as showing too many cracks and we knew it was falling apart. You think the government would place more funding into the healthcare system. Well that has not happened and if anything they have taken more funds away from our healthcare system than any other time in our country’s history. So before the mass immigration begun we had a major issue with having way too many patients and not enough medical staff to adequately treat everyone in a timely and healthy manner. So now think about that, the healthcare system was already stressed with the current population before mass immigration. How do you think adding waves and waves of more people every year via mass immigration is affecting that system? The answer is this… if the system was stressed beforehand, it is collapsing now. I am one of the lucky few that has a family doctor right now. It takes three months the just for me to see her… If I have an emergency and have to call 911, the ambulance will take me up to the local ER and then I will be wheeled out to the waiting room, which defeats the purpose of me calling 911 for a ambulance. I have waited two days at the local ER just to see a doctor. So here is where it affects the immigrants coming in. If a Canadian that was here before you is already having major issues with the healthcare, then I can only imagine how hard it will be for a new citizen to our country, nuff said really… the local er near me had a person die in the waiting room this past January. Add to this fact that I am actually pretty sick at the moment and so are my parents and you can understand why I am upset about our failing healthcare system. The politicians do not have to worry about our such issues though because they can afford to pay to go outside of Canada and pay cold hard cash for medical treatment. That is why they do not mind removing funds from our healthcare system, it will not affect them and they get to line their pockets with more of our tax money… I honestly place most of the blame for what is going on right now on Trudeau’s government and not the immigrants. The immigrants could help make this crappy situation a lot better for both of our parties though if they tried a little harder to adapt to our ways of life here. When in Canada try to live like a Canadian, I do not think that is asking much. Again, as for racism, I believe in judging a person by their actions and not by the colour of their skin. Racism is such an antiquated way of thinking… Our skin colours maybe different, just like our cultural backgrounds, but after all is said and done we are all members of the human race. There is no real shortage of labor in Canada; rather, it is the greed of some employers, often first-generation immigrants from poorer countries, who exploit cheap foreign labor and are not willing to pay fair pay to Canadian labor. These employers, along with immigration consultants, homeowners, and small business owners, perpetuate the narrative of a labor shortage to justify continued immigration for their profits but that immigration is tearing the values of our society apart. I fear, soon Canadian passports on the international airports will be treated like a third world country passport. This situation raises questions about the true necessity of immigration in Canada, especially when other countries do not seem to have the same demand. The influx of older international students, particularly from India, taking jobs that could go to Canadian youth, further fuels the debate.

International students have no rights to protest other than study, which is why they come in the first place. Canada or US didn’t go to india and say please come. I think Canada should stop taking students through consultants in India. It is in India that people are selling false info and the students are blaming Canadian government. Even India has immigration rules and they are also strict in enforcing. Plus international students have to pay 10x more in Indian top colleges than local Indian. Rules are rules and should be followed or don’t come.

There is more to this story than this report says. It’s complicated. I have seen behaviour of students once here. How much support they get from families? If they have to pay their tuition , housing and other living expenses they seem to have to work more than what they are allowed. Overcrowding of homes lack of housing spots not gaining knowledge and skills required. Fine tuning reason for need for immigration and developing qualities in immigrants that countries vye for. Changing the composition of population should not be the problem. Creating conditions for getting the right fit is needed. Point system was good I think but too slow to fill the gap of people needed. Municipalities and province are also to be accountable. How do they manage the fast changes. This student route to immigration started less than a decade ago. I find the speed with which housing needs increased mushrooming of colleges increased and beneficiaries of facilitators that responded to market demands have I think created the problem. A grass roots observation. Seeing just a portion of the problem.

I dont think Germans have anything against skilled people, and skilled people just have to adapt to German culture, Germans dont have to change! The solution now is strict immigration laws and border laws. Everyone that is not a USA citizen must be sent back to their country. Visa cards. Passports. Hungary has the top security system (google) to keep immigrants out of the country. Worse. Thief and crime have skyrocketed! Everyone in NYC are robbing anyone they see and stores are\nclosing. They don't get arrested because anything under $1000 is not a criminal offense. The USA needs to get a grip! These people are asking for handouts, which means the USA poor will not get benefits. India is a big nation with with diverse peope. The Indians in Canada are Punjabis. So blame Punjabis not ALL Indians. Also the issue with Punjabis in Canada is immigration fraud and exploiting poor Punjabis young people who came for a better life. While I agree with most of what was said in the video, there are a few major mistakes that are very misleading. For example, the video states that Canadians spends more on gas than any of the G7 members. This is FAR for the truth. I’m a German who moved to Canada 3 years ago. Gas here in Canada is HALF the price of what it is in Germany! So, the per litre price is super cheap in Canada! So, why is the total number on spending for gas so high? Because Canada is insanely HUGE. People drive insane distances and thus need an insane amount of gas. You can’t compare total spending on gas. You would need to compare the price per litre of gas, which is pretty cheap in Canada. In fact, the only country that has cheaper gas than Canada in the G7, is the USA. All the other G7 members pay more per litre. \n\nThen you also mentioned dairy prices. Yes, they are highly regulated. But compared to Europe, dairy prices are almost the same as in Europe. Again, the only country with cheaper prices in the G7 is the USA. What is (insanely) more expensive however, is meat, housing and groceries in general.\n \nIn general, your point still stands: Canada is insanely expensive. However, you listed the “wrong” items, because the ones you listed are relatively cheap compared to the G7!

Charity starts at home before you start bringing in all these foreign workers why don't you fix what's broken in your backyard like the homelessness here ,it's not the poor people here that are starting the problems it's the foreigners I've experienced it as an elderly person I can't even get a crappy job at Tim Hortons because those are all outsourced to foreign workers. I think in usa there is no premium services unlike canada bls. In canada BLS they deny every application for some or other reason than ask every applicant to pay 100 dollars and take premium services.afyer taking premium services they correct the application ot any missing information and approve it. In usa also there be similar services can be allowed. But this can be hard for poor people to take indian government facilities free of cost.

Easy solution: Not paying rent is considered theft. $41k in unpaid rent is theft over $5000, an indictable offence. Charge these people with the crimes they have committed. This or allow the landlord to apply to have their wages garnished until the unpaid rent is paid.

Don't blame the people... and blame your government policy. Government should brings those people who can help shape a better country instead of those refugees. The problem that I have seen is that - We accepted far more refugees than the genuine individuals. We chased investors/skills people away and we pay for those refugees with no background check and they lived on our finance system. Canada should look after their citizen first before dumping money into warfare(F35), Ukraine (a war can't never be won)...more dialogue instead of sanctions, lower the taxes so we all can live and pay affordable taxes. Better health care system where one don't have to put on a waiting list for a family doctor, waiting 8 mos or 3 years for a specialist. The system now is broken and will take years to be fixed.

imagine coming to a country paying high amount of college tution fees (as the international students pay higher amounts than local ones) as well rising costs of house prices,taxes only to be cheated with a illusion of dreams. NO!\n\n3- Did the Canadian government provide the newly arrived immigrants with a sufficient monthly payment, including the rent of a house befitting human dignity, balanced and sufficient nutrition expenses, summer and winter clothing, daily transportation costs within the city, monthly house bills, communication and correspondence expenses, equal and sufficient education payment, cultural activities and a daily pocket money so that they can live humanely?...... NO!\n\n4- Did the Canadian government provide the newly arrived immigrants with a solid, safe and clean social structure where they can live freely without any risk to themselves and their families, where they feel completely safe and without any fear, anxiety and concern in terms of attack and crime?....... NO!\n\n5- Did the Canadian government provide the newly arrived immigrants with a democratic state and a fair social society structure where there is no racism, discrimination, inequality of opportunity, favoritism, incompetence and harassment, whether covert or overt?........ NO!\n\n6- Did the Canadian government grant any right to vote or be elected to immigrants who came to the country legally during their stay in Canada until they became citizens, did they give them the right to vote for the party or people who would govern them, did they give them the right to vote at least in local elections other than general elections? ....... NO!\n\n-So, do you think that the Canadian government, which does not fulfill any of these, is a country ready to accept immigrants? ....... OF COURSE NO!\n\nTHEN, the Canadian State and its government do not have the right to say a single word about immigrants, and the Canadian State should now prepare the trillions of dollars that the immigrants themselves will pay as a result of the compensation lawsuits they will file against all these human rights violations that the state has implemented against immigrants for years, in a planned and systematic manner, unfairly and mercilessly. The Canadian government has deliberately left the immigrants it has accepted into the country, whether they are illegal or legal, hungry, helpless, unemployed and poor, has implemented all kinds of racism, discrimination and harassment against immigrants, has torn families apart, has never allowed them to feel safe in Canada, has not taken any timely, appropriate, necessary and primary duty measures to ensure this, and has done all these within the scope of its fully conscious and previously established anti-immigrant policies and the plans and programs to which those policies belong, because otherwise it could not use and exploit immigrants to their core, in this sense, it is the Canadian State itself that is carrying out human smuggling and immigrant trafficking.

Can we tell something the people who came from India they paid a huge amount of money for studies , unfortunately so many students didn't got the pr , but here millions of refuges they came to this country from different nationalities didn't pay any single penny, but still they have so many grants from the government even came with pr as well, so please don't blame only Indians there are a lot of other migrants as well.

How do they have time to protest? Shouldn't they be studying or working? I wish I had time to protest about all the things that are not right, but I have to work to pay my bills. I'm Canadian born I've lived here for 44 years and I have not had time to protest not one day of my life. The nerve of these people coming to Canada and thinking they have more rights than Canadian Citizens. Go back to your Country and protest there. Find the Indian people that told you these lies in India and hold them accountable.

Also those looking to donate should give items of use not cash to those on the streets. \n\nThere is a homeless working class set of people out there living in shelters who were there before the flooding of migration. \n\nThere is also a working class that live out of their vehicles (cars trucks and vans), trailers, and RVs like us. Does he really think uber drivers and tim hortons workers are boosting the economy? How much taxes do these people pay (I'll give you a hint, it's close to 0%)? How does he expect 650k people to live in this country on minimum wage?\n\nGuy forgot to do his homework.

For me as a German 28% taxes with an income of 63000$ a year, are seeming very low. Here in Germany you have to pay about 20% for social security + taxes. If you earn about 30000$ a year you have to pay about 10% income tax + 19% value added taxes + 20% for social security.\nIf you earn 63000$ you have to pay about 40% taxes + social security and value added taxes.\n\nBut when I did hear the costs just for rent, people in Canada have to pay, I understand that even 28% are hard.\nI am renting a 2 room appartment for 500$ in a normal town and I think from what I did hear, I would have a higher standard of living, even if I earn 1500$ after taxes a month, which is a low income, if you're working full time in Germany.\n\nAnd if I would live in a more expensive town or city, the country would help me with my rent, if I have a low income.
