That's very interesting. I've lived in South Korea for the past 35 years and, in many ways, have enjoyed a privileged life here. After the COVID outbreak, II quit my job and traveled all around the world, including 1yr staying in Toronto. During that period, I experienced firsthand the inflation and social challenges Canada was facing. After much thought, I came to the same realization as you—I need to leave my home country. Ironically, I’m about to move to the very place you're leaving.???I admire your courage in embracing this new challenge and hope you find a place you'll truly love. I’d like to share a humble opinion I’ve thought during my travels and followed news from everywhere. The surging housing price, cost of living, homelessness, social unrest, and immigration concerns are global issues, particularly in so-called developed countries. I believe these aren't just problems unique to Canada but part of a wider systemic issue. Every society is attempting to tackle these problems in its own way. There's no perfect haven, so it’s crucial to consider whether a society's approach to solving these issues aligns with your own values. Every country in the world is not as good to live in as before covid. Good luck on finding a country that is better than Canada. Perhaps Denmark or Norway? Certainly not the US.

I'm not an Indian but I'm a immigrant in Canada and yes it's true everything that you say but I just want to give one respectful advice to my friend from India. Please use deodorant and at least once a day take a shower because in the bus or at work is very hard for us from other countries and I know is not your fault but we all have to adapt in a country we arrive hope no one gets offended by this but remember that we share the air and we cannot avoid smelling other people. The problem I have with Indians is that they dont like Canadians, make no effort to learn the language and culture, are very rude, entitled and disrespectful towards anyone that dont look like them. Then why are you here in Canada? This is a very multicultural country, which is something they obviously knew before coming here. They treat us Canadians with such hatred, disdain and indifference, especially in the workplace. If you're that damn unhappy here in Canada, you're free to leave anytime. And many Indians in Managerial positions will only hire other Indians, even though a lot of them aren't quality for the job or their English is very poor. Germany is looking for cheap labor. There are many skilled people already in Germany either considering moving to another countries like Canada, USA or Switzerland where they can get a better salary. For example, one of my old colleague was working as an software engineer manager and lost his job because of layoffs done by a US company. When he was searching a new job for 11 months, the salary range offered by Germany companies was ridiculous. Canada has an open door immigration policy to take in people from certain countries where terorrist attacks are prevalent , which is a major security concern for the US. I just traveled to Toronto last month and saw the demographic composition with my own eyes.

This is an honest video and I like that. I moved to Canada in 2010 and I moved back to Europe in 2021, so I am a Canadian immigrant and citizen now. I personally don't blame the Indians, I worked with people from India and I love a good tikka masala. Only Trudeau is to blame in Canada. But in India there are people who scam your Indian students, telling them they could go study in Canada and then become citizens and this is why now Indian students are protesting, because they realize they have been lied in India. So Canada is not to blame for this incident. Students must understand - they come to another country just to study, then go back home. And everybody must understand - when you move to another country, you must learn the new country culture. The Canadians must not adapt to the Indian culture, the Indians must adapt to the Canadian culture. I remember when we came to Canada they told us that if we do a crime, we would be deported back to our country. And now so many people do crimes and nothing happens. This is wrong. My point is - the main blame goes for the government, but some blame goes for the new Indian migrants too.

Germany needs some types of skilled workers (doctors, nurses, IT engineers, etc.), but they want people who can think like a German for other office jobs. \n\nI am not a huge fan of German culture after living for 13 years but my home country Japan isn´t better for foreigners on many aspects..\n\nGerman taxation system and company cultures in the IT industry are not competitive with the US or Canada. Within Europe, I envy the digitalization of the governmental sectors in the Netherlands.\n\nThe skilled workers who may enjoy living here are the people who love the German culture. My understanding is that that is a minority, most of the foreigners I know in this country are not thrilled with the ´fun´ factor.\n\nThe people from politically unstable countries appreciate the German democracy and rules of law, which I agree with except for the accompanying bureaucracy. And the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is whole lot more scary than the German counterpart, which should not be any problem for legal skilled workers, though.

As a FRENCH individual, here is my perspective; we humans look for what is good for us!!! I am French (I consider myself very lucky as France is a very stable and prosperous economy) but many French also look for better opportunities abroad, namely in Switzerland (higher salary and better work packages but that influx created a xenophobia against French living in Swiss) and the US (tech jobs mainly, which are better paid than in France)!!! Immigration per se is not bad, but too much of it, especially too much from one country alone, will offset the demographic balance and is always bad for the country. When my sisters' families drove over from the US to Toronto last month, they were shocked to find that Canada is overwhelmed by Indians! And bad, disrespectful drivers too! I didn't realize that because I was here all along, it needed fresh eyes to see the reality of what happened to Canada.

read many comments here , I think Germany needs a cultural revolution in tackling xenophobia. yet the recent rise of AFD and other right extremist does not make the situations improved.\nAfter living in Germany for 8 years and pursuing my bachelor degree I can say most of the comments here on the extreme side of an opinion , yes there's racism, xenophobia and an unwelcoming mindset yet there's also many opportunities provided for immigrants to grow and improve their lives if you immigrate to another country and only talk about the dark side of it I find it quite unfair.\nGermany has not been a country of immigration like US or Canada and expecting it to be exactly like these countries , jus leads to disappointment. criticising is fine but if everything is said is just dark and negative , I personally find it not simply realistic. Germany has just begun to become an immigration country and it has a long way to pave, I'm quite grateful for the opportunities like free education and growth that this country has granted me.

As someone whose family has lived in Canada for five generations, I now hate living in Canada so much. Our national identity has been taken from us. I feel like an outsider or a foreigner everywhere I go. I can get on a bus and not even 1 person will be speaking English. I feel like I am living in a foreign country.

I’m totally agree with you we came here for better life and we have to respect the country who gave us everything now days new immigrants coming and want to live they live back home feel like I’m a guest and telling the person who sheltered to change lifestyle this is so unethical behaviour.Loud music reckless driving because of this everyone else is suffering with sky high insurance policy.you said right in you video they are getting jobs but has no gratitude to say welcome or thank you .We have seen beautiful Canada ?? and we want that back .We adopted this country and culture with our warm hearts and got lots of support and love back as well .
