Growing up in Brampton most of my life and now being able to travel for work I say let them have it. Brampton is over priced and over crowded. High crime rate. No night life. Only a handful of choices for cuisine. Canada is an enormous country and the real shame is not being able to move to another city as easy as it should be when a good for nothing one gets invaded the way Brampton has. I’m currently out in Woodstock and all the new houses in the north of the city is ALL Indians. On any nice day you’d think the neighborhood park is little India with all the aunties and uncles at the benches. The damage is done, this country’s immigration system needs a complete overhaul.

This is pretty hard to describe as multiculturalism. I have no issue with Indian Canadians whatsoever. A lot of really good hard working poeple come here from there, and I respect their culture. My concern is how we maintain Canadian amid this type of immigration 15:21 seems like there is no real attempt to integrate new Canadians to our system and beliefs. We don't want to end up like Europe where foreign cultures have imposed themselves on the population. We shouldn't have to adapt or adjust to other cultures they came here to share and improve our way of life. Canada has a dignified history worthy of preservation despite our mistakes in the past. Our grandparents didn't lay their lives down for to capitulate in becoming a post national state.\nOur leaders are bringing shame to the sacrifice of previous generations.

Immigration is good when done correctly but with the majority of people who come here they do not want to be Canadian. They don't want to live with us. So many never talk English and they want to live with their people, they own way and pretend we don't exist and are living in their country in ours. It sucks working with people who can speak english but 95% of the time they only talk in their language. Then they mention your name as they arent speaking english. It\\'s a shitty feeling and a lot of them don't care.

Is there a smart they won’t come to Canada because even right now Canadians are on the street. It’s just not a good time. Canadians are good people it’s not their fault. And then no one‘s offering the immigrants jobs because there is no jobs but that’s not again the Canadians fault they can’t afford to put food on their own table. Canadians are hard-working and I know lotta immigrants are hard-working in regards to the students don’t come here maybe the United States will be best for you they offer lotta countries. depends your in what province...im Bc recently moved from Kenya. its very expensive to live here but if you choose not to live a precious life you going to be better. when you want to come to Canada don't use agents, they will drain your cash and when you get here your broke. if you work in Canada wisely you'll own a property.\nhere we've high tax...we are charged tax in everything its getting harder to live here, if you don't have proper preppers and somewhere to stay. \nlife is good here depends with who your engaging with, and lots jobs are here.\n in General Canada needs people who brings value that matches the economy. any skill if in use wisely pays.

Literally happened to me last week. Had a delivery for some boss Karen and called her to let her know when will I arrive, and that she should prepare exact ammount. Note that we work with boutiques, not food, and that we agreed on friday for delivery to be on monday. When I called her on monday she lost her mind. Started screaming and abusing me over the phone. Thankfully I'm the owner of the company and was just helping out that week so I had freedom to literally refuse to deliver her parcel to her. I went and returned it to my cliend and they had to use non express delivery service. So Karen ended up waiting for 2 weeks to her her order just because she was Karen. It felt so good

I moved to Canada as a child with my parents 41 years ago. It isn't just inflation and cost of living that is the problem. It's the dramatically increasing racism and discrimination, even against people who have been living in this country longer than the racists discriminating against them. Seriously? This is not the Canada that I came to as a child, grew up in, or have lived and worked in for many decades. I made the mistake of working around the world for a short time and picking up an accent that wasn't even mine originally. I had a Canadian accent before finishing elementary school. To come back to be asked to go home or 'we don't want your sort here' is not just simple racism, but hatred that makes me regret ever having agreed to taking on Canadian citizenship. My kids and grandchildren have Canadian accents and were Canadians from birth. But should they leave and return to the same crap??? What disgusts me more is that the PM dares to include immigrants with refugees, under the banner that 30% of the population are immigrants. Under the law, refugees are temporary migrants and usually nothing more. To bundle immigrants who came to Canada through legal means of applications, brought hundreds of millions dollars into Canada with them of their own hard-earned money from their own countries, to have it taxed out of them, and their families deliberately put into poverty so Canada can fulfil its 19th century-PM Macdonald immigration policy of, and I quote from a Canadian federal government website, quoting PM Macdonald directly, about breeding out the Indigeneous people, is beyond sick! The refugees get a free ride at the expense of hard-working Canadians, 90% of whom came from immigrant stock! What happens when Trudeau says these deceitful lies about legal immigrants is that the racism and discrimination increases dramatically. I have been left in agony in hospital due to evil racist Canadians who thought that my accent meant that I had just flown in yesterday and what right did I have to be there? Police refused to charge a neighbor whose son was threatening the life of my grandchild because the neighbor works for the CRA! Other people have the same complaints. Democracy? Canada used to be a good country, but when a person has to keep explaining where they got their job experience from and if they have any Canadian experience for every time that they look for a job in their lifetime in Canada, something is very wrong with Canada. Most jobs in Canada are blue collar and very few are white collar, yet Canada still continues to deceive the world into believing otherwise. Canada is a great vast and beautiful land, but only a small percentage of it has any infrastructure, roads, or homes sufficient to house what is a decreasing fraction of society. Refugees take preference over immigrants and citizens alike. The lie about the homeless is getting bigger. Most homeless Canadians today are veterans, elderly, disabled, mentally ill, poor, and professionals and trades people, yet Canada brings in countless professionals, claiming that their education and experience will get them into the professions that they are coming from. It's all a scam! Canadian education is not the best and yet people with better educations and job experience are being forced to spend all their money to go back to university or college to get jobs that they rarely will be hired for. Canada is not short of doctors, just short of professionals who hire professionals without using discrimination, hatred and racism for their HR kit! Many taxi drivers are doctors, engineers, and so on. So, please stop lying to the world and tell the truth. And no doubt this entry will be taken down because it offends a Canadian who doesn't want the world to know the truth.

I think this video generalize too much. It’s like this guy asked 3 person what they think about a whole country and made a video about it. I’m Canadian, I just bought a house for 100k. I graduated from college with 0$ student debts. I had back problems that are now gone and paid 0$ for it, and i absolutely never waited more than 2 hours at the hospital. I’m living in a peaceful community between mountains and the ocean. I totally love living in Canada and i legitimately cannot comprehend the hate about it. I worked in a lot of different Canadians cities with different communities and everyone has good things to say about our country. I travel a lot and when I see how life is elsewhere, I’m always glad to be back home.

Our corrupt system allows the elected party to make key decisions. Quite frankly, I think it's wrong, as I know that most of what Turd'O dishes out must be stopped and nobody in another party is able to do anything. Face it, look around the world and everyones elected government does it. \nDictatorships must be a thing of the past and it's time for the people to start making plans for their country's survival. What a great video. For my personal experience the current recession and how it has affected the job market and the interest rates (inflation) is the root cause of all this. I also came as student BEFORE COVID and it was also hard to study and work to keep up with your basic expenses BUT at least there were jobs. Now the problem is the lack of jobs. Criminality is very relative and as you mentioned depends of your own expectation and environment prior arriving to Canada. The homeless and drug adicts problem is really concerning, specially here in Vancouver where I live. What I do is avoiding the downtown as much as I can. I would not mind to live in a smaller city or town as long as the salaries are good enough however the problem is that the living cost there are as high as here in the cities.

This lack of access to health care is a new thing. I agree with your assessment. It now seems lonelier in Toronto. \n\nCanada used to be different because anyone with a good job could afford at least a condo, but life became unaffordable not just for immigrants, but for everyone unless you are in your 50s-60s and own a home. \n\nI have friends working double jobs supporting family back home in other countries, but for some of them the family back home sound like they are doing better than them and own a home. It’s like they are sacrificing their life to be in poverty or full of hardships and their families get to go out for dinners and drinks with friends. Not them. Not true for everyone, but for some yes and I worry about their own retirement because retirement in Canada without lots of savings means you might be homeless or forced to live with family even if it’s not your preference. \n\n without investments and savings, it will be hard to beat inflation. Getting into debt and getting bad credit can mean not getting an apartment. \n\nThe birth rate is going down because it is expensive to have kids and income isn’t enough to match with living costs. Getting help from government is really not something everyone gets access too. One person might get housing support, 10 others may get nothing. Different governments offer different things. Programs end and change often. \n\nIn Canada definitely bargain and shop around for good phone plans. one idea is to get a pay as you go until “Black Friday” then every year or two when your good offer expires there will be many others. It’s the time with the best deals saving almost half. For instance, I have 50 gigs for $25 for two years from a large provider. Telephone companies are the one place where people must bargain and even ask for better deals as a must.\n\nThe people you see living in big houses, will have kids that can’t afford the same. This is because prices keep rising. The system protects the very rich, but will also drain the middle class often within 1-2 generations. Do not link your business to your personal finance, or creditors can take your home. Some not knowing this lose everything and rich people know better. \n\nPeople live until they are very old, so inheritance is pretty much meaningless to rely on, so no matter what your parents have you must hustle in life. \n\nI do think Canada can become what we want over time. Citizens need to fight the trend of great community spaces, restaurants and bars going out of business and dumb corporations move in with bad boring restaurants. Like a McDonald’s where maybe a popular cultural hang out was. \n\nPart of the problem is a lack of mixed income housing areas, so it’s hard to stay living where you grew up. Artists and musicians help make a city great, but many cannot afford to live here.\n\nFamilies and communities staying together means more support for those with young kids and older relatives when they need help. Yet how is this possible in a city that is always pushing out lower income people when wealthier people desire the area. \n\nIn Toronto, every time you move you have to take what is available and that might mean moving an hour away from everyone you know. This weakens communities. Plus, if you live too far from your work you will have no time to socialize for most the week due to travel time. \n\nI think those who grew up in Toronto do have a certain culture of acceptance with others from many cultures, because your friends at school were from all over. But with new migrants sometimes it isn’t until the second generation that their social circles get diverse. This can be isolating and it’s even isolating as those from Toronto eventually leave dreaming of staying in one spot and not forced to move constantly when a landlord investor sells every house you move into. \n\n\nToronto really needs to protect affordability of housing for at least some housing in every section so that people can save money if they live in the city, and not have to leave their communities and be far from their friends and family. \n\notherwise eventually people get sick of the hustle and it’s too tiring to travel 1+ hrs each way to visit someone during Monday to Friday. \n\n20 years ago any professional could at least buy a condo. Not today. There is too much competition now and investors are allowed to buy up all the most affordable housing that once was a pathway to owning a home. \n\nRich policy makers got greedy and destroyed canada and hopefully diversity in leadership will help make Canada better. But they perhaps people knew to Canada can reject this lonely structure and help us rebuild Toronto into an amazing place. \n\nWe need to make sure everyone can afford housing with 30% of their income. ive been living in Toronto my whole life and this video is true, in the past few years alot of citizens and international students who came here are living in the most absurd oplaces simply cause theres not alot of work and job oppurtunities, this was a great video and as bad as the video makes it seem toronto isint that bad its a good city but its slowly going to shit..

I was born in Canada to a Polish immigrant mother. My mothers family came to Canada to escape the tail end of communism and seek better opportunities. I’m 22, I have a degree from a good university and I’m now living with my mother working part time at a liquor store. I was told as a teenager as long as I got a degree I’d have a job and have enough to live on my own. I was lied to. I’m currently working on getting my dual Polish-Canadian citizenship and doing a certification to go teach English in Europe. I can’t have a good life here the way prices are and the stress being in this country brings. There’s homeless encampments everywhere, even in front of my city hall. There’s a couple homeless people who sit outside the store I work at and it’s a heavy reminder I’m one argument with my mother from sitting where they are. I am constantly worried I will become homeless.

Here are the ways I feel I you can improve:\n\nYou don't have to own a car, I think that a choice that isn't necessary, instead invest in good quality winter wears - might be expensive but it will be very worth it. A famous brand is the North face.\nAlso finding an area that matches one's pocket is crucial, never go with the bandwagon. Nigerians don't have to live close to you for you to be okay. Mingle and learn new cultures and ways after all you immigrated. Go to developing areas that won't be too far from work. Train and bus system is amazing through our Canada if you can stick to timing.\nI can keep going but I'll leave room for others to further on. Thank you

For me its been almost 2 years in Canada. I had never met a person thinking good for you. Almost everyone here from fellows to people working in law enforcement wants to push you down. Canada is a lie. ?

I came in Windsor Ontario as a foreign worker in 2009, wasn't the best time to look for a job there but still. I did 1 year of studying, worked again, left for Alberta in 2012 where I still am. Got my PR in 2014 and citizenship in 2022. Most of the things I hear against living in Canada must be true, I don't doubt it but I'm just not aware of them. I didn't even know there was a bank account freezing during COVID. It wasn't easy to get a good job, I had to leave for a small community in Alberta to get the most of what I wanted and that's why I am oblivious to the harsher reality that people have to endure in Toronto or Vancouver. But the thing is, as soon as I landed in Toronto and got robbed 50$ by some guy (this is just an anecdote not the real reason), I knew I shouldn't try to make a living there. I know job opportunities are in those big cities but please, if you can, there are great communities that need people, workers, consumers and families. If you can land a job there, move! At least try. It doesn't even have to be that far up north, nor to be a mini small village. Small city, rural living, no criminality, cheap housing, lots of space, family friendly, no traffic, no wait time to see a doctor, friendly people, douchebags, we have it here. Are they drawbacks? Yes of course. Need to drive 1 or 2 hour to get a scan or an MRI, car dependance is exacerbated but hey, it feels like a free country where no one have been overpriced...yet.

This country has never been good lived here for 38 years in small towns and the small towns are exsesivly criminal cult like and act like independent countries seperate from Canada I have had many family members die from lack of health care and I myself spent 6 years being sick with no diagnosis and malked and patronized the entire time took 5 years to find out I had a leasion in my stomach and almost 7 to find out I had a hiadious hurnea I was a happy home owner and was forced out of my house by fraud which I have proof of so one of the cool kids could have a house police in this country and you can just google the amount of times people have reported to police and nothing was done the biggest criminal organization is the police and just like they did to the Mofia made Reco laws they need to bring out new laws for charging corrupt criminal lazy incompatant police because there are millions of them out court systems are a joke I tried a civil prosecution against people who have committed crimes against me and was denied to go infront of a judge because I was part native and had proof of white crime I'm a 20 licensed mechanic and have to live in my car because I can't afford rent or a house have a 100 grand invested in tools and a tool box and have the choice to starve to death or live in my car and eat I hate living and working in this country as Canada has no work place standards and the labour board is corrupt and takes bribes instead of charging business owners example east way blew up killing six people in Ottawa nation's capital I had friends who worked for that companies and reported it it has hundreds of complaints to the labour board and nothing was done and six people died I have worked for two employers who have had death in the work place and almost died three times in the work place with proof one time I was struck in the head by a sledge hammer almost killing me another reason I hate working in this country is the monopoly it is employers pay and do the bare minimum example I produce 40 to 60 thousand dollars of work every two weeks out of Wich 20 to 30 thousand is profit for the owner I make not even two percent of that profit and all services in Canada are fake useless and a run by under educated lazy incompatant people go canada

Its life threatening & caused by a bone disease that I have no control over but the Gov't wont help pay a damn cent. This is very true. I am an Austrian citizen that tried to immigrate into Canada from 2021-2023, I worked my ass off, working 2 jobs for most of my stay and living as cheaply as possible. I still burned through all my savings and a significant amount of money my family sent me to help out. I had an accident and waited for hours for an ambulance to show up, they transported me to a different city because in this town none of the two hospitals had a fucking X-Ray machine. Then the next morning the hospital in the other city kicked me out again, with a fucked up back, because there were no beds available. Had to call my neighbours to come pick me up again (thank you Tracy, love you) because I couldn't get home anymore. Lost one of my jobs thanks to this and started a different one, couldn't afford live in BC anymore and moved to Winnipeg because I heard live there is cheaper. It is, but not significantly so, but you pay for this by living in terrible conditions. Rent was still high, salary was shit, the public transport system is.... Existent but not reliable and the city is so incredibly dirty. There's garbage everywhere. Between my apartment and the nearest dollar store was one garbage can and that was a 20-30 minute walk, here in Vienna there's garbage cans everywhere and thanks to them the city is cleaner. \n\nAnyways, I gave up on moving to Canada and came home. Still dealing with my fucked up back (though it's getting better thanks to Physio and a good doctor) and the debt I accrued in the last few years. But my apartment costs less than half for the same size, my job earns me significantly more money, my phone plan is better and costs less than half and the food is both much much cheaper and much much better. \n\nI am happy with life now. Thank you Canada for showing me how bad even other parts of the developed world are, I really learned to appreciate Austria while I was away.

India has been changing fast in the last 5 to 6 years. If you have a good business idea and ready to work hard then India is the place to make money in coming years.

You will never ever see these horrbile scenes in any muslim country even if people are poor .. why ? because Islam has a very important law that you as a muslim have to give 2.5 % of your money every year to poor people who need food or shelter ... moreover , you are incourged to help them in any way you can .. In the other hand / they must help them selves by work and be responsible .. Drugs and alchohol are prohibted , family should stick together .. taking a very good care of women and eldery is so important in our religion ... A senior\nA topic I would like to see any blogger address is the number of Cdns that are not able to work because of drug addiction compared to the number of willing immigrants that will fill those positions. \nI raised my son to have good work ethics and was considered a strict parent but man-o-man am I ever thankful that I did. Nearly every one of my son's HS friends have made nothing of their lives.\nI keep seeing an endless stream of who I assumed to be new to Canadians working their arses off willing to do whatever to make a life for themselves.\nI suppose my question is why aren't' they falling victim to drug addictions? 100% True! Very well researched. It used to be better but a 2023 study showed that US salaries for the same work are 46% higher while the US also collects much fewer taxes on both salary and sales. On top of that nearly everything other than education is much more expensive in Canada! We have much less variety of products available too and even imported goods are sold for higher prices. Waiting 10+ hours in an emergency room is considered normal which is really shocking considering that Canada is numerically one of the richest countries!

Many immigrant think that Canada will welcome them with a house and a good job. I have met many immigrants that they are back to their countries because they can not adapt or They do not want adapt to the Canadian way of life (which by the way it is not that difficult.) I am doing well because I get up everyday not waiting to get hand me downs or charity. I work hard. I also know many immigrants that have made Canada their new home and they are really happy. Definitely, Canada is not for everybody.

Funny how they want to blame immigration. Jobs are everywhere but employers know that immigrants are more disciplined, hard working and appreciative of the opportunities provided, when compared to the average Canadian-born citizen. I've seen it first hand. \n \nOh and, the influx of Indian immigration boosted Canada's GBP by $20 Billion, last I checked. America is a good example, Indians and Pakistanis are the most successful ethnic group, everyone else is behind. Not only that, but they have to work TWICE as hard to get HALF of what their white counterparts do. \n\nAlso, lets not forgot how unsympathetic white America was when black Americans were going through the crack epidemic. They didn't get a shred of the support that's being given out today, instead it was jail. \n\nWhite Privilege is very real and especially in countries like Canada and the United States. If white people fall through the cracks this hard en masse in a society that makes it easiest for them to succeed, then it's truly over. The decline will continue.

I am a old white man born and raised in Canada...our youth born in Canada don't give a crap about us old folks...then these young men and women that come to Canada for a education and residence show up from India...and bang in an instant I am noticed...do you know why because these young adults were raised to respect their elders...they are hard workers (some holding down three part time jobs) they pau their rent...they are polite and smart...with all this said they are also humans who have a limit. If they stay in Canada and contribute to our society here or go back to their own country using what they learned here to better off their communities in India...it doesn't change a thing...because they are so mature and i am proud that they call me a stranger UNCLE and exchange greetings to me all the time. I truly believe this all revolves around the housing crisis. Not enough housing can be built. Canadians with options are not taking low-income jobs. It's not a survivable wage anymore. Canada's #1 GDP is Real Estate. Potential first-time home buyers are not willing to throw themselves into a lifetime debt for a weak economy. \n\nSo what does Canada do? Fill these vacancies with immigrants. Not inherently wrong, but it's a band-aid solution to temporarily pump up the numbers. \n\nImmigrants, specifically refugees are taking low-income jobs. Speak Arabic? You can easily fill your job positions for minimum wage. Just like mafia tactics in third-world countries, the government takes their passports away and they must fulfill their duties at a very low wage and very high cost of living under threat of being thrown back into a potentially war-torn country. Came to Canada as a Dentist? Doesn't matter, you need to climb the ladder again and in the meantime work as a Receptionist making minimum wage.\n\nImmigrants with money are obligated to prove themselves. Buy housing, start a business. Numerous cities such as Brampton are being filled with slums. Housing a double digit of residents in the basement at absurd costs so the landlords can afford their ridiculous mortgages and lifestyle off the back of other immigrants/refugees.\n\nThe main issue is the hate directed towards immigrants. First of all, in the video it was disgusting for the man to acknowledge that someone was wearing good clothes and asking where the refugee center is. Someone can be a refugee and still have money. That's the ideal refugee. Someone with money in a war-torn country such as Sudan are high targets and completely deserve to run away to a safe country like Canada - especially if they can afford to spend money and stimulate the economy.\n\nStop attacking the people. This is a housing crisis issue that has been so poorly managed that these deeply rooted symptoms are beginning to show.

If I was Prime Minister. I would Ban the immigrant Visa program for the next 10 years. I would deport anyone who has overstayed there welcome (those with expired visas) or are here (illegally) and now (not documented) \n\nThat alone would take many out of the shelters, homes, rentals, streets that should not be in the Country anymore. Leaving the resources and the people who work and volunteer for those resources to help the Canadian people (which would be the prime reason for this) Canadians first ! \n\nI would cut the Carbon Tax. Lower the Property Tax. Put a cap on all Strata fees. Lower the deficit. \n\nBuild more Hospitals and treatment centers. Put a ban on drugs and safe injections (as we know there is no such thing) \n\nMake it mandatory for those in need due to drug and mental issues (that have been diagnosed with such) to go to treatment centers (while building more centre's and hiring qualified professionals workers) to stop the crisis. \n\nChange laws on crimes and the time and penalty behind them. Doubling and tripling the time served and raising bail fees by 50% to keep folks that have criminal pasts off the streets <---- for first time offenders. \n\nFor those that have multiple offenses. Quadruple the jail times and put bail amounts 100% more then what they are now. \n\nGive those that kill, ra*e, torture, (and things along that nature (the death penalty) \n\nI would remove the mandate for Electric Vehicles for Canada. Where only 1 vehicle per manufacturer would have to be Electric. So if somebody wants it. It's there but the majority would be. Gas / Diesel etc. \n\nI would build more housing / schools / retirement homes / hospitals / recreation centre's / Library and walk in Clinics. \n\nI would write a law that the roads in Canada must be fixed properly. Not just patched. \n\nI would raise the taxes on Multi Million and Billion Corporations and those that make $400.000 or more to pay a higher tax. While those that make less than $400.000 get taxed less. \n\nI would Lower the provincial taxes by 2% effective immediately and the Minimum wage across all provinces would be $17.75 an hour for full time workers (over 32 hours per week) with .25 cent yearly increases until 2030 to be reassessed. \n\nI would give Tax cuts to those who want to open businesses and build and sell Canadian Products to make sure Canadian Goods are affordable to make. Still have a profit to slow down overseas production creating more Canadian jobs for Canadian People. \n\nEvery Worker that works 24 hours or more weekly is getting Benefits making it mandatory for all types of business owners to make benefits available to the workers and ensuring the plan covers a minimum of 50% throughout the entire year. \n\nI would raise the pension to those who have worked 25+ years in Canada and remain in Canada as a retiree for a minimum of 6 months of the year 5% \n\nShrinkflation will stop. With major corporations getting fined if they don't smarten up and change the way the make and package goods. \n\nI would put a cap on Car insurance for those that have never been in an accident before and lowering the monthly cost by 10% \n\nCondo sizes would have to increase the square footages by a minimum of 10% of the national average to make sure that there is enough room and peaceful environment for those that live in those spaces. \n\nI would ban that you would have to pay additional for parking at every Rental property including lockers, that the property owners purchased during pre construction as well as lower the public parking costs nation wide in parking garages by 20% and cap it. \n\nI would Lower transit costs nation wide by 20% and cap it. \n\nI would bring back texts books and paper to schools so kids read more. Write more. Understand more. Learn more for those in grade 8 and under. \n\nI would ban every Pride event in Canada and charge people fines if they hang rainbow colored Canadian flags anywhere on any property including ban clothing with those colors on the Canadian Flags immediately. Failure to do so would also Ban same sex marriage the following year on the same date that the first ban was made if Failure to comply. \n\nI would ban any book or literature for kids that is LGQTB written. \n\n& that is just the beginning.
