Maybe theres some Canadians who hate Indians, but Canadians as a whole do not hate Indians. \n\nI'm a 3rd generation Canadian. Our mother tongue is almost never used at this point. We speak English, we took on the Canadian way of life and culture. Canada doesnt look the same anymore. I'm told White people are the vast majority here, yet I don't see that many White skinned folks like I used to. In fact, almost every store, fastfood restaurant, facilities, my own work place, White skinned folks are by far the minority in these environments.

Im a 34 yr old Canadian and share the exact same view as you about this country. \nMy husband, myself and our tow kids moved to Mexico a few years ago, as well as a few friends of ours, and leaving Canada was like getting out of a toxic relationship lol Once you're out of the 'bubble' that Canada has created for it's citizens you see just how sour it has become. \nThat being said, we did move back to Canada to buy some land far north Alberta-only because we have small kids and want them to be around family-but if it was just my husband and myself we DEFINITELY would have stayed in Mexico. \nMexico feels safer, its beautiful there all over the country, the people have wonderful community and live life fully, the culture is enthralling, the food is BETTER in every way, the language (Spanish) is a fun element to life, and best of all-in Mexico, you are out of the censorship and the 'fear bubble' in Canada. You see it all over headlines, you hear it on the radio, it comes out of everyone's mouths in Canada-obsessed with 'safety' and everyone is terrified of living. Now that we're back we're very aware of it and do our best to ignore it and block it out. \n\nMoving abroad is a lot of work, but I would do it again in a heartbeat and recommend it. If you are able to, just do it.

I am so thankful I have Greek and Macedonian citizenship. As soon as I'm done with my education, I'm moving back to Greece or Macedonia, somewhere there are hardly any Indians. I literally get lucky to see 4-5 white, black, or latinos a day in my city, the rest are all Indian, Pakistani, and Arabs. I don't feel like I'm living in Canada anymore, I feel like I'm living in the Middle-East. I only have 2 more years of university and then if I don't go to Greece or Macedonia, it'll be because there's too many Middle-Easterners there too, and I will go someplace like Korea or Vietnam, where there are practically no Middle-Eastern people. Sorry, but you're right about them being rude, and they act like they're entitled to everything. It's disgusting and I've had enough. The problem will only get worse even if we shutdown immigration, because there are so many here already, and they don't have kids, they have litters of 5-10 children per family. Soon the whole country will just be Middle-Eastern, just give it a few decades. If you can get out of Canada and go someplace else, I suggest you do now, before it's too late.

I went to high school in Brampton Ontario, in the mid 80's and there were no Indian immigrants anywhere. After high school, I moved to Montreal to work as a fashion designer, (I have to mention the shock I experienced whenever I would fly into Toronto for business... when I went to get a taxi, there was always a massive line of Indian taxi drivers standing outside next to their taxis. I had the feeling that I was no longer in Canada, but somehow ended up in India?) Having lived in Montreal for 30 years, I recently moved to Guelph Ontario, to be closer to family and I was shocked to see how many Indians had moved there, (going to the dog park, I was informed by the people there, that Brampton was called Bramladesh and Guelph was turning into another Bramladesh.) There was a massive temple built in Guelph a few years ago and suddenly Guelph was invaded by Indian immigrants, with every house put up for sale bought by an Indian family, (the husband, his wife and their kids, the brother and his wife, their mother and father, all living in a 3 bedroom house with 3 cars in a 1 car driveway, (for some strange reason they all choose to dig up the black asphalt driveway and replace it with white concrete??) So yeah, the white people in Guelph are fleeing en mass, as it becomes impossible to sit in the back yard, or open a window, without choking on the powerful stench of spices coming from the Indians living next door... it's like being punched in the face from the horrific smell when you walk your dog and pass by one of their homes! That said, it feels like their goal is 'global domination' and with 2 billion people living in India today, it's just a matter of time before they all decide to leave the most over populated, the most polluted and the most corrupt country on the planet, and move to Canada!

Dont cut immigration down.....tell me how did Indian intl student makes up about more than 80% out of all international students. Why didnt the government put a cap or a stop specifically just for Indian people? Why didnt the immigration look deep before giving student visa just like a snap of a finger and see if they can support themselve for school and living expense. \n\nI am an immigrant myself but when i decided to come to canada as a student. I made sure i had enough funds to sustain myself here in canada for 2 years until i can get my work permit then a head to PR. Nowdays I see a lot of international Students get access or abusing goverment facilities and benefits for which not entitle for them but Canadian residence only (PR or Canadian Citizen). I never ask for Cerb when covid happen, never ask food bank my part time job can fullfill that, paid my fare for using transportation, paid my rents and utilities on time and paid my credit cards. Lastly i never complaint focus on my study and I get good high paying jobs. I am proud to contribute to Canadian Economy as an Immigrant.\n\nThe question is are they doing the same? Indians love the EU too, I see them in Spain owning the businesses. They are highly motivated to get out of their own country. It’s time that India gets its own house in order by raising their standard of living and offering good government benefits like pensions for their citizens.

International students should come just to study not to work, if they can pay the universities fees, they should be able to pay for their bills. Foreign workers are need in some jobs, for example: agriculture, housekeeping, or skilled workers are ok too but we can see every store, fast food shops full of Filipinos and Indians, and they’re like mafias, once a Filipino is a manager, they mostly hire Filipinos and same with Indians. My daughter and her friends have been applying for a part time job in Tim’s, McDonalds, a&w, Walmart and other grocery stores and barely get a interview and never hired?, ahh but my daughter’s Filipino friends are all working ?, some of them where their parents work?

Some of them throw their garbage everywhere on the streets on the beaches on our walkways. I get in India the culture there may allow you to throw garbage in the streets and lakes and rivers. I worked in a retail store with where Indians shopped regularly. They were the very rude to the sales helps. They talked down to us and they were the worst thieves the store has ever seen. Our regular customers started going else ware because of this problem. I'm afraid Canada is no longer a great, desirable country because we have aloud it to be taken over by the east indians. It is the governments fault but is is also the fault of the indians because they have not adapted to the Canadian way of life. They want us to adapt to their way of life. Every time someone say something about Indians they pull the racist cards. Going through Tim Hortons is like a struggle for them. They can’t multitask. What about our kids that are here. They can’t find work everywhere you go you’re in every store. You don’t see no other culture. You don’t see no other culture taking a dump on the beach, where people are enjoying it. They have made insurance so high because of their driving they U-turn when they feel like they run red lights they drive on sidewalks when they’re not supposed to they have cars coming out of residential parks and they’re driving on the sidewalk. It’s not a hatred as much as is their way to get things. For example jobs. You marry Indian so you see matters from a different perspective, their prospective. I remember one significant situation in one of a dealership place where I bought a car. There was only one Indian representative there working. Two years later I saw only Indian men working there. The way how they pushed other people away from jobs and hired their own kind, that enjoys me so much. And one more thing if we allows that many students from only one country, you think is fair for others young people not to be able to come here and study. And last but not least if we allowed Indian students in such numbers to come what do you think Canada will look like in 10 years, I know “another India “

I agree and appreciate your constructive approach to this issue. It would of been easy to play the race card the whole video. I can tell you that it goes both ways here with this issue. It is not right to put good and bad apples in one basket, the bad stands out here more than the good.\nI came from an area of very few Indians and been living in an area of high immigration for many years, so I came from a place of no prejudices. Unfortunately, much of what Canadians complain about are true as I experienced it first hand. I won't list this because others have. I absolutely agree that you are ambassadors when outside the home country, as I think the same in my travels. Overall I believe it is a blatant disregard for Canadian culture and laws, and lack of assimilation with Canadians, especially white, that has caused this to be the big part of this divide. I see, hear it, experienced it. I admit it leaves a bitter taste.\nImmigration only works when both parties can blend together and respect one another. Not separate yourselves, segregating others based on predjudices, and sticking to what you are familiar with back home. You came for a better life, but live the same as the past. In my state Kerala, we feel very offended when we see migrant workers from north, north east and northeast india and even Tamil nadu.. because they don't follow any rules, they are involved in crimes and of late they have started imposing their ways in Kerala.. a few days back I had to call the police after a Bengali migrant worker stared, whistled and eve teased my wife from the near by construction yard. I am constantly annoyed by the following, but because I was born in Canada, I would be cancelled for saying the things you can. I am also Indian. Here’s the list that comes to mind. I might come back and edit this because I am sure there are things I am forgetting: \n\n- coughing into your elbow instead of your hands (literally watched a guy yesterday on the bus cough into his hands then put his hands onto the support bar)\n\n- Standing to the side and letting people off the train so you can get on instead of trying to walk through people who are trying to get off \n\n- Standing up and moving to the side to let somebody off on an inside seat of the bus. I have a butt. I don’t want to be squeezing by you \n\n- Taking off their backpack while standing on the bus and putting it between their legs\n\n- Moving to the back of the bus instead of crowding by the doors\n\n- Standing in lines to get onto the bus instead of crowding\n\n- Not littering. Either put your garbage in the bin or take it with you. Stop leaving it on the beach or on hiking trails.\n\n- Learn about hiking before attempting it. We have people going up in jeans and flip flops in the evening and getting stuck on mountains or injured. Some wear running shoes but they don’t have enough traction for the trail\n\n- Shovel the sidewalk in front of your home when it snows\n\n- Stop dousing yourself with axe body spray. \n\n- Understand that Indian food makes your clothes smell. It gives off oils that get stuck in everything. Open your windows and doors when cooking to minimize this as much as possible. You won’t be able to resolve this entirely but do what you can. The skytrain now smells like Indian food even when empty. \n\n- Stop riding your bikes and scooters on the sidewalk. It’s illegal and you have a responsibility to learn the rules \n\n- Stop hiring everybody that you know. Before nepotism was all about networking, but nowadays, it seems to be about hiring Indian people that you know. I am being discriminated by employers because they think I will do the same once I am in. Diversity in teams matters. Indian immigrants don’t seem to believe in this and think all that matters is the most qualified get the job. This is how you end up building facial recognition models that don’t recognize Black people. \n\n- You work at McDonald’s. Stop blasting Indian music. The McDonald’s by my place is blasting Indian music from the back and it overtakes the restaurant music. \n\n- In a work environment, even if it is all Indians, speak English. You ostracize your fellow colleagues and customers. You are also not improving your English skills by speaking in your primary language.\n\n- Make an effort to make non-Indian friends. It’s really intimidating even as an Indian to see large packs of Indian men\n\n- Learn how to swim. Every year we have multiple drownings at a lake because Indian people are unprepared for the reality of the water. This is a basic safety skill.\n\n- Stop staring at women. Even as an Indian woman I get stared at by these guys. Just stop. \n\n- Get headphones. Playing music or having conversations on speakerphone in public places is rude and very inconsiderate of others \n\n- Stop cheating. Whether that’s cheating the system or during classes. We grow up here and environment that even though we can cheat, the culture makes it completely unethical and you just don’t. The consequences are significant. I get it that you come from a country that doesn’t have enough resources for its population, but you give the entire Indian community a bad name when you cheat, lie, and do other unethical things.\n\n- Learn about Canadian values. The Canadian charter of rights and freedoms exists. Under it cases were won supporting equality for women, LGBTQ rights, etc. this is built into our constitution and it’s so ridiculous to come across people who don’t adopt Canadian values. Why choose Canada if you want a culture of what’s back at home. \n\n- I get it that our healthcare system needs to improve but am disappointing reading advocacy for private healthcare in Indian Facebook groups in Canada. Tommy Douglas was voted as the greatest Canadian. He is the founding father of our nationalized healthcare system. For the most part, Canadian are happy that we don’t have a healthcare system like the United States, where your access is determined by your employer or your income. We don’t go bankrupt when we have a health emergency. Go back to India or go to another place where you can pay for private healthcare, but stop advocating to transition our healthcare system to a private system. While you’re at it go look up who was determined to be some of the greatest Canadians.

I went to high school in Brampton Ontario, in the mid 80's and there were no Indian immigrants anywhere. After high school, I moved to Montreal to work as a fashion designer, (I have to mention the shock I experienced whenever I would fly into Toronto for business... when I went to get a taxi, there was always a massive line of Indian taxi drivers standing outside next to their taxis. I had the feeling that I was no longer in Canada, but somehow ended up in India?) Having lived in Montreal for 30 years, I recently moved to Guelph Ontario, to be closer to family and I was shocked to see how many Indians had moved there, (going to the dog park, I was informed by the people there, that Brampton was called Bramladesh and Guelph was turning into another Bramladesh.) There was a massive temple built in Guelph a few years ago and suddenly Guelph was invaded by Indian immigrants, with every house put up for sale bought by an Indian family, (the husband, his wife and their kids, the brother and his wife, their mother and father, all living in a 3 bedroom house with 3 cars in a 1 car driveway, (for some strange reason they all choose to dig up the black asphalt driveway and replace it with white concrete??) So yeah, the white people in Guelph are fleeing en mass, as it becomes impossible to sit in the back yard, or open a window, without choking on the powerful stench of spices coming from the Indians living next door... it's like being punched in the face from the horrific smell when you walk your dog and pass by one of their homes! That said, it feels like their goal is 'global domination' and with 2 billion people living in India today, it's just a matter of time before they all decide to leave the most over populated, the most polluted and the most corrupt country on the planet, and move to Canada!

You need to come live in Brampton then you will know why they hate Indians, try going home to Brampton after 11 in night you will see ghettos of cars like they do in India and I personally saw them peeing on the street , unmanned, unqualified, illetrates , rowdy indian immigrants

As a Canadian born in Canada I feel the border needs to be shut down. We have worked hard to set our standard of living, this is now in danger of collapsing because the government has allowed so many immigrants into Canada putting a strain on our healthcare,housing and other programs. These people are getting to use our resources without having paid into them for years like we Canadians have. Our way of life and standard of living are at risk of collapsing, we see it happening in our healthcare, affordable housing and the drain on funds for the poor. When we see them protesting about being forced to leave and how they refuse to try and take on our culture, where whole towns are being taken over by their arrogant attitude to take over these cities. We want our country back

I am an Indian and I am disgusted to see what fellow Indians have done to Canada! They come here with their total lack of civic sense! I was born and raised in Calcutta as we navigated daily through filth and dirt on the streets - not only because of the poor on the street - but bec of everyone else who walks around and thinks nothing of throwing their garbage on the streets, spitting and blowing their noses on the streets and even in buildings - stairway landings, or peeing in the open - in public spaces or against building walls, etc.. Narcissistic, selfish drivers who cut people off, break the traffic rules, grab parking spots, etc.. They come here and make every effort to Indianize Canada - to make this into India instead of respecting this country that has generously and (ignorantly!!) allowed them in!! If they want to live their Indian culture in an 'Indian environment' - then for goodness sake - GO BACK TO INDIA and clean up that country your call your 'matri bhoomi' - your Mother!! The presenter is right - Indians (and Sri Lankans, Bangladeshis and Pakistanis too included here - all with the same mentality!) have dragged down the customer service experience in stores and restaurants. Indians are usually polite but they are not good at maintaining a high standard of customer service! Employees in Walmart, Costco, Tim Hortons (especially!), etc., are seen standing around, chatting with each other in their Indian languages instead of being professionally attentive to customers. The shopping experience is not pleasant like it was 25 years ago!! Your remarks are not harsh and Indians NEED to take it personally and be embarrassed into doing the necessary to make the changes they need to. We immigrated to Canada not to come to 'another India' - we came to Canada and would like to live in this country to appreciate it's uniqueness and contribute to maintaining it the way it has been!
