Canada and Canadians first...Canadians don't care what you want or think...our country time to go...

If you have insurance in the US are you 100% covered for doctor visits, surgeries, hospital stays and medical tests? In Canada we are covered for all these things and there’s no bill after we receive these services. A family of 4 pays about $17000 a year in taxes to cover these things. This would be about $12000 USD. A family of 4 in the US pays about $24000 per year in insurance and still have to pay for services. I think we have the better deal.

Nope. Turn around don't drown. Seriously? Why do they think this behavior is OK for most Americans. Find somewhere else. There's Canada and Europe. Find help there. Our shelters and our patients is full and worn thin. You let all the bad eggs in Mexico. You keep these people ?

I am a newfoundlander known across the country as a NEWFIE. You ask would i give up by birthplace to move to the USA? I wouldn't consider moving to anywhere in Canada let alone move to the USA. We have health insurance which is taken care of by government, we have Dental care that's taken care of by government we have Starbucks, Tim Horton's, and all the other goodies you mentioned here or you think are goodies. We have very nice people and everyone is willing to help and not stab the neighbour in the back. We have some of the best that nature has to offer. Move? Not bloody likely.

People will fight back. The more you block them off, the stronger the resistance becomes. What do you do now? It looks like things were better when there was some form of controlled flow of immigrants than this utter chaos. Even if I want to think that this invasion is not okay, it was the US who invaded all their ancestral lands first. Mexico used to be all the way to California extending to Texas. You have hate filled racists on one side and crazies on another. That country is destined to be doomed. I hardly find any centrist sane individual who can actually get over the superficial racial or identity stuff and actually talk policies in depth. Both sides are like... For us or against us. What can Trump even do with such population base. They have to import people to keep their quality on top... Else they are done for within next 200 - 250 years.

A bigger backlog is a disaster for everyone. I want a decrease in the number of immigrants, but Canada owes it to these people to speed up the process.\nI also think that we should eliminate the Asylum category entirely. No more refugees.

I was po'd that I had to pay $13 for a tv in my room when I had my kids LMAO! Canadian problem. Free now though. For the most part I like the safety and security of Canada. I always feel a little in danger when I visit the US. I think the idea that anyone can carry a weapon freaks me out. But, I love the shopping in the states. It is not cheaper for us to buy down there but you guys have way more variety.

Trump is starting a trade war with pretty much everyone else in the world. The US economy accounts for only 15% of the world's GDP, the rest of the world represents 85%. You have to be unbelievably arrogant to think you can win a trade war with China+Europe+Canada+Australia+South-America.

I’m from a south Asian country Living in Canada. I have never found Canadians to be racist towards me or my family. We respect Canadian culture and heritage and we blend in well. Our kids are Canadians. They are not sound Asians. I don’t brain wash them to think any other country is grater than Canada. They have strong Canadian values and will be devastated if someone ever discriminates against them. I have taught them it’s a privilege that they were born in a such a great country and to love and respect their country.

Lived in Canada for almost 40 years. Worked in USA for 5 years 25 years ago. I did make a lot more money in USA then, luckily, I was in my 20s and almost never seen a doctor in my 5 years in the USA. \nThank God I didn't get into any accident while there. \n\nIn general, I observed many people in the USA are not good neighbors. Simple observation, ex you drive and merge into a lane in a busy SF Bay Highway you need to fight hard to get into a lane. In BC, Canada, merging lanes is very orderly, each vehicle takes turn merging into a lane one entering from one lane and then another vehicle from another lane with respect and consideration. \nIn the USA, I think it is this brutal mentality translates into policy in health care and education, you are not responsible to help your community in any way and take while you can for yourself.

Canada allowed so many students to come, charging $40-50k on average, and kept bringing in more. Now they're claiming that the number of students and their dependents is the problem? IRCC marketed the pathway to PR after studies like cheese on a mousetrap. And now, with elections approaching, they've started the blame game. It's utterly idiotic. In this advanced world, do you really think the government didn’t realize how many people were immigrating here?

1/2 the population works, the youth can't move up economically, it promotes gig, contract, temporary, part-time, no benefits and the long term result is economic instability and citizens here can't afford to have families, have a life. . . People who work and live here and have their finances here, don't benefit the same way. They invited 1.2 million in one year alone and are backlogged over a year. What was this crazy government thinking? Projection is that 1/2 million people will be 'un' documented next year? And out of the 16-17 mi full-time jobs, probably less than half paying a living wage in 'Canada.' It's beyond stupidity, completely incomprehensible what our government has done. Pay Canadians full-time with proper benefits. The Canadian government sets a low benchmark for Canadians 'here.' and just keeps lowering it, not to mention, cash, bribes, kickbacks, and a blackmarket will emerge. They don't know what they're doing.

You're leaving CANADA, which is consistently rated in the TOP FIVE internationally, in freedom and standard of living -- and you're going WHERE? If you seriously think you'll do better someowhere else, LEAVE. No one will miss you. But when you realize what you've given up and what you've got INSTEAD, you won't be welcome back.

You think it's bad in Canada. New Zealand is a lot smaller then Canada, and so the Indians stand out even more, just look at all our fast food restaurants, service stations, corner stores every business you can think of they own it. Indians have no respect for their host country and are involved in lots of crime. They bring their local politics and religion and make a mess about it here in Canada. I also think their mindset is very parochial. For example, you hear some Indians saying they are taking over Canada and behaving arrogantly. The Chinese don't behave in that manner despite the fact they have a huge population. Indian so-called talent is just a farce, It's all about cheap labour. Expect more countries to kick Indians out and put in place stringent visa policies.

Canadians born here are last now. And gaslit and shamed into thinking otherwise is racist. Our kind culture has been seen as weakness and is now being proven as weakness. Many people think that because they think that they are cleaver enough to circumvent visa interviews, falsify documents required to impress foreign embassy staff, get visa on false pretenses because they have money, connections in domestic government or someone overseas to curry favor them, then no wonder your visa application would be rejected and fees forfeited or you would be turned down entry to your dream country on arrival and deported back to your home country. People even dare to charter a flight to Maxico with a plan to cross the border and into USA, like a flash mob, without a visa. I think the rabid immigration should stop as it will damage Indias reputation even more especially with the quality of people who are going abroad. The countries who give them visas are fully aware that there are universities that earn them forex but this could be really damaging to their countries. What happened in Canada is of course an extreme case and other countries can probably learn from it \n\nAlso India should restrict exit and not give out loans to people who do not intend to return. That will also help curb some of the illegal exits.

No one wants to live in India? Why? Because average person has no rights of enjoying a free life from the corrupt governments in every state. I think the Canadian government needs to be a little more careful with the type of immigrants that enter the country. I don't see it as a problem to have Chinese, Japanese, Indians and other people immigrating to Canada. But I think it is also necessary to attract more people from Europe to live in the country. Canada is a country with a white majority and, if they are not careful, the country's demographics could change a lot over the years. European ancestry needs to remain alive in the country. Especially British and French. That is Canada's identity.

Thank you for the video. I'm 33 and Partner is 30, graduating soon from his PhD. We love Canada and everything about it but weather. However, we feel increasingly bored with life here despite the fact that we live in downtown Toronto. So we think of moving to Europe or US, haven't decided yet. Depends on jobs, cost of living and crime rates.

These students came for an education. You accepted the terms of that student visa and should thereby adhere to those terms. Many countries do offer jobs to international students who excel in their studies if there are available positions in that field that Canadians can not fill. It is Indian recruiters who have sold the residency idea both in India and Canada. It is these recruters that teach them how to defraud our systems and take your money. If you think about it, how many successful companies hire people with strip mall college certificates in high paying jobs.\n\nWho they should be protesting against are their recruiters who sold them this illusion, not our government. There are processes for residency, not privileges.

Trump is such a dumbass. He thinks the tariffs will be paid by exporting countries like Mexico, China, and Canada. The Trump tariffs will be paid by American manufacturers and American consumers. Everything is about to become a lot more expensive in the US, especially with a 25% tariff on the 4.5 million barrels of oil Canada ships to the US every day. At best, inflation becomes a bigger problem, and Americans lose their jobs. At worst, Trump's tariffs cause a made in America recession.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but when you first came back to Canada making these videos, you seemed unhappy that things cost more in Canada than in a developing country, I think it was Vietnam? If a person is lucky enough to be able to work around the world online and maintain the same wages of course developing countries will be cheaper. For people who live in Vietnam, the average monthly wage is $424 Canadian. The average wage in Canada is $5,607 so developing countries are cheaper if you are making North American style wages. Best of luck finding a place with lower crime, lower poverty, and a quality of life you enjoy.

Canada is a federation - in many areas, the provinces have exclusive power. It is a mistake to think that the Federal government has authority over the provinces, and to address your example, tell Quebec how to treat those who wear religious garb.

I've written similar comments elsewhere that were automatically deleted by the person who posted the video, and I found that disheartening. I first want to address the rumour about human feces and dirty diapers being found on Canadian beaches, and I want to stand up for the people who called out Indians for doing this. Somebody saw something. Maybe they weren't able to produce any legal proof of it, but they clearly saw something, and there is nothing racist about them calling out this behaviour. This practice is not only unhygienic. It is ILLEGAL in Canada; so, it absolutely should be called out publicly to prevent it from ever happening again. I have seen many videos about the culture of mass open defection in India. The videos I saw were posted by Indians themselves. One of those videos was a TEDx talk done by a woman named Sangita Vyas who discussed the truth about open defecation and that it is not limited to only the poor population. Even people who can afford to build latrines are not using them, and she explains why after interviewing Indians to ask why. I've watched Indian doctors talk online about how many Indian children die from something as simple as diarrhea every year as a direct result of the water contamination caused by open defecation. So, clearly, open defecation is legal in India, and perhaps some of these people think if it's legal at home then it must also be legal elsewhere. WRONG. It's illegal in Canada. It's unhygienic. It should never happen. Period. And there is NOTHING racist about a Canadian saying this out loud and reminding people that they must follow the rules and laws of the country they are in.

I have been living in canada my whole life and worked my ass off to get into a really prestigious university program. Everyone I knew is looking to leave Canada, and mind you these are all HIGHLY skilled stem grads. I am included in that as well, I love Canada, but I am also an Indian, nobody sees the difference between me(someone who has been raised here) and someone fresh from India with no lack for the culture. (unless they hear my accent) I don't think staying is worth it. Probably looking to head to the states.

We were military so lived right across Canada, and I can tell you the worst province in Canada is Saskatchewan. I don't have enough thumbs to turn down. The people are Very unfriendly. Think there better than everyone else, and if you need compassion from the police you won't find it there. I was with a group of military wives once and we all had to say the best and worst posting we ever had. Everyone said Saskatchewan was the worst. Nova Scotia and B. C the best. . The rest of the country is great. The Maritime provinces are the friendliest. Retired widow now and live in a small town Ontario. It's very nice here.
