Its the canadians that are leaving and for every 1 canadian that leaves, there will be 50 peopllw from hing kong with unlimited amount of dirty money to take their place and thats all that canadian gov cares about. There are 100s of people applying to any place that becones availble for rent here in vancouver. Its only a dream that people leave but whats the point when theyre just replaced with someone whos gonna make life even more unaffortable

To make matters worse, there are some who become “Canadians of Convenience” who, once becoming Canadian citizens and holding Canadian passports, leave Canada to go live in their countries and when things blow off, and their countries become war torn, they ask the Canadian government to pay for their flights back, not to mention those who get sick outside the country and come back to get treated at the expense of government health care. And after all is done, they once again leave the country. Really?

So Canadian citizens can’t afford to live anymore yet we continue to allow refugees in to the country? Who is the priority? I always thought government was to take care of its own people first. Times have changed

well Canada is a soft immigration target that gives illegal/legal migrants everything away for free for as long as it takes...years. meanwhile Canadians are homeless.. Case in point, here in Kingston, the HoJo motel was purchased by the feds and houses migrants with security (3 persons per shift} 24/7/365, a fully functioning kitchen, housekeeping, tradesmen to repairs caused by the migrants, free food, clothing, bus passes, supports for healthcare, child care. In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. I am happy that so many years later videos like yours are saying essentially the same things that I did. I was ahead of my time. I will never go back to Canada. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no culture, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, only modern slavery, worst healthcare system, unbearable political correctness, crime infested/drug infested, xenophobic people, too depressing. This is a very thoughtful and balanced review. As a retired Canadian who had a good job for most of my life, I'm saddened by the decline in almost all areas of life, lifestyle and and people's aspirations in this country. This decline actually seems quite rapid, I would say from 2015 onwards. Housing in major centres was expensive, but it has skyrocketed in the past decade. There has been a decline in many institutions: 1. health-care, especially noticeable since the pandemic that coincided with many boomer medical staff retiring, but also by our sclerotic institutions refusing to enable foreign-trained doctors to work here. Many foreign-trained doctors in the Vancouver area are doing jobs way below their qualifications while many people cannot even get a family doctor. Crazy. Econonically, there seems to have been no plan at all from the government as we exited the pandemic. At least the US had a plan, to 'build back better'. Our government just floats along as if everything is fine, when the decline is very visible especially to older Canadians. We have admitted 1/2 a million people a year from overseas, so our economy should reflect this and show an upswing. But no, we're in a 'technical recession' as of December and probably a real recession as of last week. I have never voted Conservative in my life, but Trudeau is a flaky dimwit with a famous name who has no clue what he is doing. A fool, in fact. He's mismanaged our foreign relations beyond belief, and nothing has improved domestically. When Pierre Poilievre says 'Canada is broken', I believe it. We deserve much better leadership; in Canada's case, the rot does come from the top. Justin the entitled idiot is much more like his mother than his father.\n\nLong rant. sadly in less than 4 years our country has declined at a rate I feel like isn't really seen in any other western country. Canada used to be a great country, but they’re becoming the USA of the north - low wages but high cost of living, lack of proper health care (Canadians with resources are doing medical travel for treatments), and increase in violent crimes. Unlike the US, the taxes in Canada are outrageous.

I read an article recently that Canada is running their immigration like a shady fly by night credit card company. It doesn't matter to them about honoring the terms as long as they can get enough people to sign up. But soon enough (and it's starting to happen) word is going to get out that it's not really that great and the number of people signing on is going to plummet.\nThe Canadian government doesn't care about the immigrants as people, all they are is numbers to keep our overall GDP propped up, meanwhile per capita GDP is in a freefall.

For Canadians over the age of 65, the lack of health care in Canada is turning deadly. More and more of them are dying while waiting for treatments. Many of them are now deciding that it is better to emmigrate to some other country that has a functioning health care system before they get seriously sick and die in Canada waiting for treatment.

Many Filipino,indian,pakistani engineers, whom I knew, spent many thousand us dollars went to Canada with their families to improve their lives.but, when they arrived in Canada, they worked not as an engineer, but worked in a position below engineers, like skilled workers.so, salary is low,everything expensive. Canadians are frustrated with how inept our leaders are and it looks like there are no capable people to run this country. We are fed up with how we desperately need educated ppl to fill positions particularly in the health care arena and yet immigrants with those talents are sidelined. It is a miserable mess.

The definition of a canadain is an american without a gun and public health care... otherwise it is hard to tell the difference.... Canada has almost 9 months of winter and 3 months of bad skating... The province of Quebec which is still part of canada (don't tell them that) has the language police to be as anti-american and any democratic as possible, they only tolerate english if it is in US$ and tax other taxes with the most expensive bloated government of any state north of Mexico. The cartels are envious... all things purchased are imported (except animals and greenhouse tomatoes)are american with the exchange rate of almost 33%... If you are a doctor or nurse or medical specialist trained in western medicine like Europe, Australia, etc. You almost have to start over.... SAD. Like América, big cars/trucks are king, public transit is not a thing... yeh there are some buses in a few major cities, more of an after thought... The only positive thing about coming from another country climate is you have something to compare with.... Personally i was born here so where do i go... A few friends have travelled to the US but have not returned... its warmer in Texas i guess... It's funny. I was talking with a coworker last week. He is a Canadian citizen and has been here for about 6 years. He told me that he's counting down the days until he becomes a US citizen. He has a couple of months to go. He said that he no longer cares about his Canadian citizenship. His wife is still trying to get a green card. They have a child who was born here and is therefore a US citizen by birth.

If you are indigestion they will say they care but do nothing, the government would rather change a street sign in toronto for 13 million, then give the largest indigenous community in canada nothing for clean water. The city of Prince Rupert BC is a city of 13 thousand people, and it has high amounts of lead in its drinking water, it's also mostly indigenous surprise surprise.

I believe it’s time to take the foot off the immigration pedal. I work in an orthopedic clinic near Ft Lauderdale, Florida (US). We are swamped with snowbird Canadians getting their procedures, in the winter months. I know that in the 90s, my little town in Kansas had as many imaging machines as the entire country of Canada, but Canadians were certain they had superior medical care, as did the English. Expectations.\nEven then, if something was so bad that only a silver bullet treatment would possibly help, they still send patients to the USA because they are not equipped to help. Quiet management.\nBut basic medical, especially if you don't have much money, was traditionally better in England. I don't think Canadians had choices, but the functional reality was similarly better than in the States. Expectations.\nFor some time, Americans have had a sense that miracles are practical things that happen all the time, just pull out all the stops to keep grandma in agony another week. This has been reinforced by the civil courts. It is dangerous to be a doctor who does not recommend EVERYTHING be done to prolong life, even miserable life. Expectations.\nA century ago, there were no significant differences in expectations amongst developed countries because the expectations, based on the technologies of the day, were the same. It's also a good bet that there is a mismatch between expectations and available resources. Broken system.

This video is spot on. I am Canadian and moved to the US 15 years ago. Best financial decision I have made. I don’t know how middle class Canadians can afford a mortgage or rent. Canadian health care system sounds great until you really need to use it.

I am a foreigner who lives in Canada now. I am not Canadian or East Indian. However, I am 100% SURE that if Canada did not import those useless, disgusting, and rude things, India would have been bankrupt 100% already. Unfortunately, Canada is still importing tons of those things again and again and Canada is about bankruptcy now. The Canadian GDP rate is proving that.
