They pay well and it should solve your major problems, the winter thing you can control by using heaters and Government thing i think it would change after sometime.. One of my colleague worked in Canada for 18 years and died there. Their family behaves as if they are poor and don't have money to bring back his body to India. He worked there for 18 years and they are behaving like poor in front of Indians.

I came to Canada in Jan 2022 on permanent residence from India and returned back to India in November 2023. My reason to move to Canada was, I moved back to India for personal reasons after living in USA for 10 years (studies + work). I moved to Canada because I missed US, and thought it was difficult to adjust in India, and US would never give me green card anyway (due to country of birth quota). I moved to Canada with a job in hand, but opportunties are limited here. On top salaries are low, even compared to India. Healthcare is a disaster. In US, I could see a doctor next day. I had 4 surgeries done in US, multiple CT scans and countless X-rays. Never had an issue. In Canada, despite paying high taxes I fear of not able to get medical treatment and wait for months to see specialist. \nSlowly I realized, this country is not USA anyway and was naive of me to think of it as a viable replacement. I ended up returning back to India, as in end I realized India has issues, Canada has different ones but in India at least I can earn well (70 to 80K CAD while 2 BHK costs me like 500 CAD per month, 300,000 CAD for luxurious 3.5 BHK) and I can be close to my parents, the reason for which I left US. I will always miss US though. As long as I have family in India, I will never think of settling anywhere else. But the only country I would ever consider in future is USA.

Geographically and socially wise....India se better koi country nahi hai...No one can better India....India sabka baap hai.

Ontario is like India now.\n\nCost of living in Canada I 1985 to 95 it was cheaper than the US, UK etc\n\nShortage of housing is due to to multi family families in one house that have 6 working adults to pay a higher mortgage vs a 2 parent two child family (ownership for them no longer exists in Canada sadly)

Bro it's impossible to make friends here. For context, Im IndoCanadian, born in Vancouver, and whichever friends one makes from grade school are the only ones that stay. Now, within my situation, I've noticed people who are not IndoCanadian are hesitant to talk with IndoCanadians because of the influx of Indian people from India, which most of whom do not speak fluent English. Its hard to differentiate between IndoCanadians who were born here with Indians who have arrived recently. Which means people are hesitant to talk with IndoCanadians since it's assumed that we do not speak fluent English/live with foreign etiquette. But whatever ?.

I think its easier when you go abroad at a young age because you are not conditioned or programmed one way. It is hard for ppl in older age because, your brain will not update and create new neurons in a few months... therefore, the crying. \n\nUSA/Canada and other similar countries discourage dependency on others. \n\nSimilar situation when americans go to india and the brain does not adjust depending on a driver, a maid and the disrespect towards the value of time and punctuality. \nIt takes time to adjust. ❤

I left Canada in 2023 January because of One reason. In Schools they teach kids how to change the gender and how to take drugs which will not harm. \nCanadian values doesn’t aligned with my family, cultural values so I left Canada even I was earning good money. But money has no value if you are unable to raise the kids properly. \nI left Canada and it’s been 1 year I am living in my home country India and I have zero regret about leaving Canada. Canada country was good when I came in 2017 but now everything is changed. My sister and brother in law they also moved from Toronto to Dubai because they also think that there children will have no future in this country. \nMy brother in law told me Dubai is very good for raising kids, have moral and cultural values. Respect for everyone. No drugs promotion, No gender change promotion in Dubai, quality of health care and education is way better than western countries. Strict rules for women safety.

I move from one country to another every five years because of the nature of my job. As a practising Muslim with children here are some of the countries I’ve lived in which you guys should consider :\n- Turkey is very developed and your family will have to make less adjustments in terms of quality of life. If you can speak Turkish then you are good to go.\n-Morocco has a very rich culture and the economy is relatively stable.\n- Malaysia is beautiful and has great community sense. Very helpful people. The main adjustment will be with the eastern culture which is very conservative. The cuisine is also very unique.\n- Qatar and UAE are both similar in the sense that finding jobs won’t be a problem and lots of people understand and speak english. Also these two countries are developed and the \n education standards are the highest I have seen in countries following sharia. Also these countries are less strict than Saudi Arabia which is my native country. I really hope you two \n aren’t considering it. Your girls will not grow up happy in Saudi. Trust a women who has done it. I love my religion but inshallah no child should go through that environment because her \n parents were attracted to the holy land.\n-Lastly this is a rather outlier in this list but you should consider India. There are mosques everywhere in almost every city and even the Hindus fondly wake up to the azaan. Most \ninclusive non-Muslim country I have lived in. My children loved it. We lived in one of the many Muslim communities near a mosque in a city called Hyderabad which was ruled by a Muslims for hundreds of years. Even though they have their own languages nearly everyone speaks english. The schools are great. The police create spaces for Muslims to worship on the roads so that traffic doesn’t disturb them. Very inclusive and the city itself is beautifully developed. The job market is great and it is a very affordable place to raise a family.\n\nI hope you guys check these places out. I’ve only listed the countries which I felt were the best options but I’ve lived in almost all the countries with a sizeable Muslim population. Best wishes to you folks from the Sayyid family. Assalamualikum. You guys have become my go to ppl for naseehat. Almost like an elder sister/brother that i am yet to meet in person. Inshaallah. We are a muslim family from India. Initially we had thoughts of moving to canada. Have even applied for PR. Still in the pool. But with time my conscious does not direct me in that direction. We are also in double thoughts of where we would eventually want to move. It will be great if we can have one to one conversation sometime.

India is already suffering a lot. First they divided our land and created Pakistan on the basis of religion. Next they killed and drove away kashmiri hindus thus changing the demography of the land and now they want free kashmir. And the ones living in India are creating ruckus everyday of all sorts.

I criticized the genocide of my Sikh brothers, sisters and children in riots in Delhi in 1984. That incident is the one that led few sikhs but not all to ask for a separate nation that should be named Khalistan and I want the media to not to call those sikhs “extremists”in foreign countries, we can call them Sikhs asking for separate country, they can not be called “Khalistanis” either because Khalistan doesn’t exist. Also, sikhs and Hindus always got along well. In all India, there are sikhs living everywhere just like Hindus. There was never a conflict or dispute between them. I grew up in a society where my neighbors are all mixed Hindus and Punjabis. As much as Sikhs visit Hindu Temples same goes for Hindus visiting Gurudawaras. How about our film industry, there are so many sikh Punjabis like the Kapoors, the Malhotras, they don’t want to leave India also. I don’t want to my Indian sikhs to make a separate nation. I want the Indian police not to discriminate against certain religion and not be biased. If a Hindu policeman saves a Hindu criminal and wrongfully and falsely put a non Hindu person in jail then it’s purely wrong and discriminatory and same thing goes for a Sikh policeman. How about our soldiers, majority of our soldiers are Hindus and Sikhs, they are protecting India and it’s citizens. I want people of all religions and backgrounds in India to live peacefully and get along.

Seriously considering moving back to India!! After living in Canada for more than 2 decades, retiring here with the meagre income means skipping meals and maybe wear layers instead of high heating bills. \nAlthough conditions in India may not be as idyllic, but food and living costs are way cheaper and one can lead a decent and healthy life without having to starve it out !!\nWhat happened to the Canadian dream !! most provinces are big with lack of diversity = expensive to move and see other landscape ; last 5 years realestate and cost of living gone bonkers - everywhere in the world it went up but canada definitely was one of the most significant- even with rise of salary its not as good anymore… fairly average health or care system - average political standing in world ( india china in a pinch usa 100% while usa doesnt seem to be canada 100% ) but we have lot of ressources tho costly to operate and not nature friendly - other than that - its a good country and better than most overall and a country you van have opportunities for sure but its not a paradise or eldorado

Indians who come to Canada are already middle class with good job and money in India, and they try to get the same type of jobs in Canada, this is a different environment that leads to loneliness as all of their friends and relatives are still in India. \nThere are families from refugee countries, if one member gets here they will bring their brothers, cousins, friends an al their families and everyone does restaurant, shops trucking and other jobs and then slowly get into the same Business you can see them get together on Weekends.

I am a foreigner who lives in Canada now. I am not Canadian or East Indian. However, I am 100% SURE that if Canada did not import those useless, disgusting, and rude things, India would have been bankrupt 100% already. Unfortunately, Canada is still importing tons of those things again and again and Canada is about bankruptcy now. The Canadian GDP rate is proving that. Canada, ha you mean India, in the last decade 100s of 1000s of Indians have flooded to Southern Ontario (which by all measures is Canada) to the point that sometimes one feels like they are stranger in a strange land. Of the 2.2 million who arrived last year approx 500,000 are students They are huge profit centre for landlords and colleges and universities. And let's not talk about healthcare!!!\n\nThe other huge issue is healthcare - forget about getting a family doctor these days it's a choice between MAID or going to the US to get life saving healthcare (paid out of pocket of course). Long term not much will change - discussing immigration is still verboten in Canada and while I expect the Conservatives to form the next majority government thier policies mirror those of the Liberals.\n\nBTW it's not a half million per year it's well over a million new comers per year!

Let me tell you , the majority may be Indians, but in fact they are not leaving permanently. Only citizens of India or permanent residents are leaving temporarily. They rent their home and live in India with that rent , there they get servants life is luxury if you got money. Second they are the reason for this hike in rent and housing- immigrants are the main reason for high rent and housing market especially greedy ones. Health care in Canada is not accessible even if it is free.

Australia has a lot better lifestyle & pay rates are significantly higher than Canada.\n\nMy husband & I are a medical professional, offered MD by Australian university with 100% scholarship along with wages in top dollars and various perks.\n\nAfter completion of my degree I wanted to explore Canada. I secured a job before moving to Canada. \nDespite everything was organised, I struggled a bit to settled in Canada, ended back in Australia.\n\nI’m happy to have one foot in india & another in Australia.\n\nSome of the issues i faced in in Canada:\n\nExtreme harsh Weather for someone with back pain etc, which I have. \n\nAgain, weather not suitable for both of our parents.\n\nWages are very low compare to Australia even after adjusting the currency difference.\nThis was my imperative requirement to support my family back in India. \n\nTax rate is higher than Australia.\n\nTechnically, pay rate is low, tax is high. \n\nAustralian universities offer better quality education than that of Canada. If you move away from your home country, it takes half the time of your actual age to understand, & get used to the country you move into. \n1) Ikea also offers assembly service for which you have to pay. \n2) home owner/landlord didn’t improve noise isolation issue of their floorings. It’s normal practice of most lazy landlords who only rents their basement for reducing their mortgage cost. Or probably didn’t even know that it is doable.\n3) Employment- I am glad to see you found a skilled workplace somewhat related to your career. If you had to go through odd jobs, you would have left Canada within a month. \n4) Hospitals- Indian Government hospitals works the same way. Priorities go to life threatening patients first. But as an ex-Indian, we love spending arms and legs of money. Our loved ones survive going in private hospitals without insurance. \n5) socializing & jokes- I think you should’ve moved to Brampton so you can be part of the ghettoized community we have created there. so what day by day their crime rates are going high, we can at least understand the joke we can laugh on there. And there is no home sickness feeling.\n6) Weed!! - India has legalized alcohol, tobacco consumption. It does not mean anyone can go buy this. Even to buy legal weed in Canada you have to show your ID. At least that process is followed properly here.\n7) Vegetarian- if you want to follow a diet like this, all you have to request the restaurant to swap the meat with either potato hashbrowns, or if they have soya bean patties. \n8) Struggle- struggle is part of life. There is no requirement of whining about it. What do you need to be concerned is that you are getting an opportunity to go ahead, if you can’t get that that’s an issue. \n\nAnyways , I’m glad you made a video regarding your point of view on leaving Canada. We aren’t allowed to carry knives into schools in this country. Bottom line, NOBODY should be exempt from this. Everybody should be treated equal and as such, leave your knife at home. I'm not Indian, I'm indigenous from Canada and I grew up in Vancouver, where the population is mostly from Asia. Being surrounded by people of asian descent is very normal for me. I don't expect anyone to assimilate and lose their culture to exist here. I knew we had a large population of Sikhs here but I didn't think it was nearly as many as in India... and now I find out there are more sikhs here than in India. Amazing. I also didn't know we had so many Sikhs in parliament, let alone Indians. My school is mostly Indian and everyone I talk to has come from Punjab. Everyone seems to love it here, and the school is in the middle of little Punjab so I've been told by my classmates it is the perfect place for the students who are homesick because they are surrounded by their community. I rarely hear English when I walk down the halls, there is even a course to learn to speak Punjabi, which I want to take so I can talk to the students who don't speak English as well. We have many large gurdwaras, and one near me I've eaten langar almost everyday for the past 10 years. Most people here know Sikhs to be very generous and humble. It was a shock to me when I heard the president of Guru Nanak Gurdwara was shot, because I believed Sikhs to be very kind and peaceful, and the gurdwara has a very good reputation as they take lots of food into Vancouver and feed the homeless. They even opened a kitchen in the DTES during the pandemic to be able to have food available to the people immediately. No one else did anything like that. They delivered a lot of food. Now they have an auxiliary kitchen in the DTES permanently that serves free meals. I thought more news would come out of the shooting but it seemed quiet for a bit until Trudeau accused the Indian government of the attack. This news also shocked me, so I decided to start looking into it slowly. I couldn't really get a good idea of what was going on until I searched a video for Diwali and your videos came up. I will share it with my husband so he can be educated on the matter as well. Thank you for your diligent research and dissemination of important knowledge.

What I understood from my experience in India is that all experiments should be finished by the age of 30. After that one should plan to excel in the country one resides. I do not know about your age and past experience. What I say that your root lies in the country you grow up. So, you may repent in success or in failure, either ways after many years. Recall the movie DDLJ. Do your best here, if you have come back to India. By profession also, India offers many high package jobs (mostly multinational corporates). There are some highly rewarding Govt. jobs as well. Have an eye on the corporate and professional world. Now you can write many international exams from India itself. Live your life!

Toronto has never defined the identity of Canada but Asia ( China, India ) . Same for VAncouver .. Ontario and BC have the 10 most dangerous cities in CAnada ( Statistics Canada, most dangerous cities) . # 1 Vancouver ( Surrey) , since Toronto has a big ego and includes cities as far as 130 km away , Toronto has the most high crime cities in CAnada , HAmilton, Brampton , London, Ste-CAtherines, Oshawa, Missisauga .... ALberta have also high crime cities , Red Deer, Lethbridge and Edmonton . Toronto is not a smart city ( high tech ) , the city just had no cell phone network in the subway ... One of 10 people depends on fodd banks in Toronto

you took good decision but still it is possible only if your parents and relatives support you. i know the same case where one boy went to canada and struggled alot and he was even not having enough money to pay rent so he stayed in shelter home for almost 3 months and then he decided to come back to india. He came back to India but his real sister and some relatives used to taunt him by comparing others who were staying in canada. His sister used to quarrel with him everyday and used to say that he should die because he wasted his parents money. Unfortunately, he committed suicide after listening harsh words from his sister everyday. Now he is not among us but he was really great and hardworking guy who worked hard in canada but due to lack of support from his own family he committed suicide. Therefore return is not the only option , one's decision should be welcomed by family members also.

Have visited many countries for on-site business work, including Canada but India is good despite all the chaos, espcially South India. Over 95% Sikhs are just like me and patriotic and Love India, but yes there are issues in Punjab which need to be addressed...\nBut a large portion of the blame sadly goes to Sikh politicians. I want to tell the youth that Khalistan is a waste of time and politicians in Punjab, especially sikh politicians are completely bullshit. They are corrupt and have no vision and rely on rural votes which is sikh majority and Jazbaati over every issue and largely into farming. The Punjabi Hindus, baniyas, aggarwals and Jains own the urban economy and are comparatively more practical and forward looking in life. Many of these sikh politicians sadly themselves are involved in drug, own illegal abortion centres and labs, and even coaching centres to send students to canada on fake letters in exchange for a lot of money...\nI want to tell the youth, There is a lot of good opportunity in India. I know Punjab doesnt have much as of now (hope someday one of us can take our experience and setup a startup hub there), but other cities like Pune, Hyd, Bangalore, Mum, Chennai etc are good and once you have a stable job, its quite satisfying. Punjabis especially Sikhs are also loved everywhere by common people. Please dont spend your money on fake asylum letters and Canadian Dreams without thinking and planning.

Sikhs have a huge role in Indias freedom movement but one can't deny that farmers protests was filled with Khalistani elements and it was their job to keep their protest free from such things at which they failed miserably and the whole country saw what happened on 26th Jan which doesn't help their cause either. Let's be real, if it was as easy to migrate to the US as it is to Canada, no one would even consider this frozen wasteland. It's still better than India or Philippines or other countries whose people migrate here a lot, but if they could, those people would rather move to the US or Australia.

It’s been 5 years for me here and I honestly can say I have achieved nothing in my life yet. It scares me when I think I can’t return whatever my parents had invested in me. The fact is you’ll never have a good paying job in Canada being an immigrant. When I say this trust me I mean it. Most you’ll get is a minimum wage job which can make you survive the life here. Taxes are high definitely and what I feel is you’re working to make someone else’s life easier. \n(P.S: people who’ve stayed in Canada will understand who I’m implying to)\nNo one wants to be your freind, scope of socializing is zero coz mostly it’s cold round the year so everyone hardly come out, especially in Northern provinces like Yukon, Saskatchewan, Manitoba.\nHealthcare is a joke. If you feel sick and not well and you wanna see a doctor be prepared to wait for hours and hours. I once had stomach infection and I had to wait 5 hours till someone could see me. I asked for painkiller at-least so I could bear the pain but they refused that as well. You might well see someone you love dearly and with whole heart die in-front of you and you could do nothing. (I’ve experienced it myself hence saying)\nYou’re a lone survivor who’ll always keep fighting. \nThe only person who can make money here is businesses and high paid jobs which are reserved to Canadians. That’s how Canada’s job market is. Canadians’ first and if there’s something left they’ll look at you. By the amount of money people invest here they can establish a nice business back in their country itself and earn accordingly on own terms. \nMost importantly you’ll cut yourself from all emotional supports like family, freinds etc.\nI was social person back in India who liked making new freinds and memories but it’s nothing like that here. \nAnd it’s the same life, no different.\nYou wake up, dress, eat, go to work, come back, eat, sleep. No different.\nNo fun and nothing. You actually don’t live in present, you live in an expectation of a better tommorow.\nYou’ll always have a smile when you greet someone but I guarantee you no one’s gonna check on you to if you don’t start a conversation even with a simple “Hi”. Mostly Canadians are nice but again some will systematically judge you and say nothing but you’ll see in their actions, the way they’ll talk in a twisted way etc.\nYes I’m not saying that Canada’s bad or it’s no good but trust me it will take forever to build a life here especially with the number of people moving here from round the world. \nIf you’re well off financially from back home Canada’s a paradise for you. Indeed it’s a beautiful country with lots of beauty and lots to explore but remember everything comes with a cost here. Everything comes with a cost. People need to stop believing in this fake illusion and come only if they got a purpose here. The only reason why they’ll let you in the country is for money and once you’re in you’ll have to keep spending, doesn’t matter if you’re broke or whatever you have to.\nOnce I earn I’ll happily give up my PR status and go back to India as i very well know what the situation is how it’s gonna be in future.\nSo just one piece of advise to every middle class person like me, guys please invest and spend your money wisely coz we know how hard it is to earn and it’s high time Canadians start appreciating what immigrants like us do for them by burning ourselves day and night and start realizing that their past generation once came from some other part of the world as well and settled here. Being white doesn’t make you a nice Canadian, you’re actions defines you more than your words. \n90% of this country is built by immigrants and that’s how it’s gonna develop in future, so if they keep treating us the same way good luck to them ?.\nAlso a plus note to anyone thinking that Asians are stealing your jobs, go get outside and have the balls to face them and take it away from them. Staying home and ranting and abusing us that we’re taking your opportunities and blah blah isn’t gonna work. We are so successful round the world because we are hardworking, honest and respectful to everyone. Even if we’re earning minimum and barely surviving here we always make sure we’re not burden on the government or anyone else and won’t keep crying.\n\nA big shoutout to all you guys who came here in the hope of a better future but are still struggling.\nKeep hustling and you’ll reach there, if not step down and go back and start your life again on your home soil. There’s no shame in experimenting continuously rather than sitting ideally and crying about future. \n\nAll the very best my people and lots of love to you ❣️
