My issues is that Canadians grew up with diversity, however now you walk into Tims, McDonald's, Walmart, etc., and you see no diversity, just 100% Indians in most places. Hardly any blacks, Asians, eastern Europeans, etc. It is also a matter of too many too fast, not enough time for them to integrate into Canadian society. As far as government, they are bringing in too many people without the infrastructure to support them, so they are taking away from Canadians of all races.

I am Canadian, 7 generations here. I don't hate Indians. I have a lot of friends who are from India living here in Canada. What do you expect when you grant citizen ships to people of a country with highest population in the world. Went through the pathway of studies-work-residency-citizenship\n\nLet me simplify the story for all of you guys here that lacks immigration intel. \n\n1) The quality of migrants you see here is not what Canada needs long term. It’s not a matter of ethnicity, but Canada needs to import talented and educated folks in medicine, engineering, trades etc. None of these individuals are interested in studying and are either attending 3rd grade colleges/universities to get a work permit and hoped to stay on. \n\n2) Shoddy sales tactics include lying or ‘avoiding stating the obvious’ that could make you lose the deal. This is exactly what the Canadian government did with these people. The Canadian dream was sold somewhat properly before 2017/2018 I would say. Post Covid there was a MASSIVE need of manpower in minimum wage jobs. The government could not afford increasing minimum wage at the time and international students would do exactly those jobs and bring in millions of dollars in tuition fees. The government opened the gates for these strip-mall colleges to take unprecedented numbers of students with allowances to work. These students were sold the exact same dream that a top quality University/college student is sold about Canada. They needed to be used at the time. And if they would’ve been told that their quality of students are only needed temporarily, they wouldn’t have come. The labour shortage at the time wouldn’t have been solved. So a CATCH 22 of the highest order. \n\n3) Canada CANNOT give in to such protests as it will set the worst example of migrant pandering for future generations. The best talent will refrain from entering Canada and more and more of these types of immigrants who do not want to assimilate to the Canadian culture will want to keep on coming.

If you don't care enough to respect the country which you're living you're not worthy of staying in that country. As simple as that. You do not own this country or India for that matter, learn to respect the people and culture of the country you're staying in. Keeping aside Canadia's vices, we always have to remember that this land is our home for the number of years we're studying here. If you wouldn't do something it in your own home, you shouldn't do anywhere else. It's because of people like these all the Indians receive hate. in canada my rent has doubled in last 5 years. Food price has gone up 4x, gas price at all time highs, but min wage, or pay from jobs has not gone up at all. 5 years ago I was able to barely make a little bit of savings, but now, I spend all money on bills, and have nothing left over to save. Population is climbing faster than GDP and it's been seven quarters of GDP per capita falling while rent and average house prices keep skyrocketing. \n\nThis place went from fine to terrible in the span of a decade, just because Trudeau and his buddies think we need 100m people in Canada by 2100, otherwise we'll be doomed. You also need to include the deluge of fake asylees with students and TFW. Everyone is so obsessed legitly with those two groups that no one is mentioning the surge of easy visitor visas to those turning into fraudulent asylum claimnants and clogging the system. They're being paid on average 17K from taxpayer (stats from govt. PBO), creating pressure on housing and jobs. As a matter of fact, this group is worse than students and TFW coshidering the latter group is paying something in the Canadian economy (although that contribution is negligible at this point). I would also like to point to not conflate real asylees with these visitor visas to asylum seekers. They are economic migrants and NOT any asylee; fraud perpetrated by JT and his incompetent ministers.

this is actually a really good summary of the situation. just like how India has their bad people who have caused problems we canadians also have similar people in who are just as troublesome if not worse such as the junkies on the streets who I see all the time here in Montreal and cause so much chaos. a big argument which I also feel like is that we should only allow the best of the best to immigrate to Canada. my mom was an immigrant and is an incredibly hard worker who is more than deserving of a Canadian citizenship and even my close friend who immigrated from India is just like that and is also 10x cleaner than anyone else I've ever lived with. the fact of the matter is that we need to bring back those high standards which we had in the past and crack down and send back those who abused the system and illegally entered the country. What is the matter with you Indian haters?

I moved here 4 years ago from Delhi, the capital city of India and a metropolitan. Since day 1, I’ve tried to learn more and more about the Canadian culture and tried to implement the country’s values in my every day life. I’ve learned how this country works and I’m very happy for the most part. What matters is where you come from, your background, and your education. The bad bunch has literally pushed down our name in the gutter.

Canada simply does not need nor want imported rideshare drivers, cashiers, etc... from India or anywhere else for that matter. We're sending you back and we're not sad to see you go. We have enough Canadians to fill the job vacancies.
