Omg.....i feel like they are a lot of Muslims that feel like they are better than everyone else and yes they are some non Muslims that act out of hatred ....i am thinking to migrate but not really wear the niqab cause yes I get fear that some people might feel so I try to mindful....and i am a people person I enjoy talking about my belief and have many friends of different religion is the respect that makes us coexist

It's funny how most western governments are ok with immigration and open their countries up to this type of thing then defend their immigration policies then want to ban religious symbols of the people they let in willingly and complain about them and how they live...smh doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me when u think about it ?

We should all be three men and women to travel the planet we were born upon, freely & without hassle. \nA lot of times the laws actually make things worse. Like drugs. I remember when my family immigrated here over 15+ years ago and my brother was only 1 years old. 2 weeks after coming here he slipped on the floor and cut open his forehead on the hinges of our door and he was bleeding everywhere (he later had to get 6 stitches to fix it), my father was out working and we didn't know how to contact the police or hospital because we didn't have a home phone yet. We used our neighbors and the ambulance came and I strictly remember that because we didn't have our health cards yet they wouldn't start work even though my father said he will pay when he gets there. I remember my mother and I feeling helpless while my 1 year old brother was bleeding out (the hospital staff tried to stop the bleeding with cotton ball and bandage) and I distinctly remember that they did not start helping my brother even WHILE my father was paying but only started work after the bill was completed. Even though my family felt helpless at that time and we felt it was unfair, we never blamed Canada because it was their policy and they have every right to follow protocols. So it makes me angry to see people who walked into our country illegally getting far better treatment than my family ever got even though it might not be anything as life threatening as ours was. It makes me angry that our hard earned tax dollars are used to help people who have no motivation to help the country that gave them asylum during war.. It's actually the opposite as a lot of these families call their free housing "disgusting" and compare it to "living like a slave". I'm angry because little girls at my brothers own school are getting shoved and assaulted by refugee boys as young as 6-7 and are let off with a simple "don't do that again" and a meeting with the parents. This is not the Canada my family came to love and call home so I can't imagine the hardships of Canadians who are living here for 3, 4, 5+ generations 😔😔

Canada must be making a lot of money from it. China would never put up with this they would stop you from entering in a minute, or deport you. This is a pretty misleading video.\nYes, our minimum wage went up to $14/h compared to the rest of Canada, however keep in mind it had to accommodate to the cost of living. You're lucky if you can even find a LEGAL small 1 bedroom basement for $800/month. Its not common. \nA car? Brampton has the highest insurance premium in all of Canada. \n\nDon't get me wrong. I LOVE Canada, I couldn't see myself living anywhere else because it is my home. \nHowever, when you compare it to india, in India you're only paying for electricity, gas, and food that you need to buy at the grocery store. \nBut if you really needed to budget and save money, food is LITERALLY growing in your backyard! All the veggies, fruits, etc. You just need to buy the grains and proteins! \n1.5 lakhs sounds great per month. But 1.5 lakhs is realistically not enough to live in Canada. \n\nDon't believe me? Google cost of living in Canada. Google how much a family of 4 would need to make to survive per month in Canada. Also, make sure to check out CANADIAN WEBSITES for this data. (.ca sites or try Global News or CTV news since they have this data)\n\nThe problem is everyone that comes to Canada always comes only to one area which is usually Toronto! However this makes the cost of living go up to accommodate this many people. Compared to Regina, or St. John's not many people immigrate there! It is a smaller city compared to Toronto but at least it's more affordable.\nDo you're research before coming here. Nice Video but such misleading comments by people. No you cant afford everything with the minimum wage. People here are doing 2 jobs a day. Only skilled resources make good money, but they dont want to put in the same effort in India. I am in Canada too, making good. Okay, as a Canadian, I've been watching all sides of the stories. All of your points of view are heard, and particularly the past day's coverage rings true, in some senses. A lot of people comment about how illegal immigration is ok, and blah blah blah. It's simple to say that when you don't feel the direct impact. Change the US as a country to your house. Now let's say the neighbors land Lord is beating the shit outta everyone in that household (play on the violence that's happening in country of orgin). One of then move into your house without letting you know beforehand (illegals). Let's say you don't mind and understand why they did so. Now they work hard around the house and get a job to spend for themselves and send money next door to the family still left behind. . But they don't have to pay for electricity, gas (aka taxes). And since you own a 3 bed room house, things don't change that much. Now 2 more of the neighbors flee because of the asshole land Lord. Now you have to start working slightly harder to pay for your utilities aka taxes. Now you start seeing how more people affect your household. Now even more people flee the next door neighbors and you work even harder for utilities plus your trash is overflowing, have to invest in larger trash cans, fix the doors or ascetic's(pipes, faucets, tubs etc) in your house from over use or mismanagement. Plus you have to start driving their kids to school, you have to get a bigger vehicle (that's a play on the education systems bloating classroom problems)spend more on gas and car maintenance, and since they all don't speak English, to have to spend money on making signs to inform them of the house rules and dangers. You have to invest time out of your schedule to inform them how things work in your house hold because at their house they walked around naked or shit with the door open (play on different societal norms or religions) and may even have to alter your rules as not to impose and anger them. Know the house is over filled and they expect you to buy a bigger house (play on the welfare state)I mean I can go on... But people reading this can get the drift. Point is, yes i understand that people want a better life and all immgration in not necessarily evil, but you can't just let anyone come in because you feel bad. Making change based off emotions of a few is detrimental to the whole.

So, an economic migrant makes a false claim for asylum, wastes a lot of taxpayer money in court costs, and is ticked off because he does not get what he is not entitled to. In the 10 years he spend in the US, he did not learn even basic English. And everyone is supposed to feel sorry for him. Sure, when it is one person, or two, or 10, people have sympathy and want to help. But when it is hundreds of thousands, or millions, people's sympathy button gets worn out.

I worked construction in my summers and I know skilled carpenters, even the ones that never went to trades school, can easily make $45/hr in Calgary if they subcontract or even $40 on payroll and its not even boom times. A lot of guys I worked with were easily clearing $100 000 a year but the problem is they choose to buy brand new pickup trucks on instalments or have overall poor saving habits. Hours are really long too. What I noticed about wages in Vancouver and Toronto are that they are really bad for construction workers, I know a guy in Vancouver whose a layout journeyman making only $21 a hour, a labourer in Calgary starts out at usually $19-20.

Canada has done extremely well for Immigrants, and we spend a lot of money on making sure we get hard working decent citizens.. We've recently made it easier for people to immigrate here. We welcome it. But it does have to be done legally. And yes, I agree with everyone else here. 15 years in English countries, and doesn't speak it himself is disgusting. I bet he'd learn the word food fast if he was starving. Also, those kids need to be in school. I hope he's not hiding them too cause they'll never learn English then.

Sometimes I wear a suit and sometimes I am in jeans, a t-shirt and/or a leather jacket. When in a suit I am treated completely differently from when I am in my motorcycle or bumming around clothes. It is a fact that people profile everyone based on appearance, language (verbal ability), and how they are acting. Unfortunately, a person with visible differences, such as skin colour, can't change into something that attracts less attention, but, a black man in a suit is still less likely to be profiled than one in everyday clothes.\n\nAlso, I am well spoken, which makes a difference in the way I am treated. If you speak in a way that makes you sound less educated or of a lower class, then you are treated differently.\n\nTry sending in a white guy who is less clean-cut and less well-spoken and see the difference in the way he is treated. Have him act a bit nervous, look around a lot, or appear to be less than middle or upper class and see the difference in how he is treated. I guarantee he won't get good offers in those apartment buildings, if he gets any offers at all.\n\nA friend once told me a story about a friend of his who was very well off. This man went into an exclusive car dealership to look at a car on display. He didn't like to appear as well of as he was, so often wore simple jeans and t-shirt. When he asked the price of the car, the salesman took one look at his clothing an told him he couldn't afford the car. White profiling at its finest.

growing up in canada, i felt left out in the blk community b/c i am a 5th generation blk cdn on mom's side and 3rd on my dad's - when other black ppl not canadian born met me - i tell them i'm cdn, but i always used to get the question - where are you really from - they were looking for me to say the islands - when i told them my paternal grandma was born in 1901 in canada - that's when the questions stopped. i've been told that b/c i wasn't from the islands, i had no culture in college, but a mbr of the black student society put him in his place i heard he got into a lot of trouble. i was asked what do we eat as in food as canadians what kind of music do we listen to - at our blk canadian weddings, the only carribean song played was hot hot hot by arrow - we played straight up r and b and motown. i hv been rejected by other blk men b/c i'm not west indian enough...it was hurtful. even with 'friends' they made of my cdn heritage but i used to think, why are you making fun of me knowing that my family and ancestors were in canada first - they were 1st generation - i live in the usa now and i'm with an african american man - he has never treated me as if i were different and he loves going w/me to canada. my parents told me it was jealousy on those ppl's parts - one guy i used to be friends with in college, when i went to his house, his mom was from the islands, when she met me - she said, 'you cdn ppl are loud' and that did it for me - i didn't date her son but when he met my parents, they never said any of that crap to him. in the usa, the african americans don't treat differently at all - my ex mom in law thought we were american but decided to live in canada - b/c she was surprised that blacks do live in canada. her other daughter in law's family were from the islands - but she gravitated more to my family and felt comfortable around them more than her family and this ex sis in law would brag about the islands this and that and she would make comments about my looks being skinny and such but it was jealousy - i didn't care much for her b/c she was very insecure. i felt once again, i was a young girl in college again - being around island ppl....i would love to meet drake and ask him did he feel left out and isolated because he wasn't from the islands - he makes me very proud being a blk canadian - his dad is african american and his mom is jewish. i still hv dealt w/racism not much with wht ppl, but with my own ppl - which is quite sad and on top of it-colorism, that also played a part from my family - being called pygmy, chocolate dip, nappy hair - it hurt but these so called relatives, they aren't all that anymore, they had hard lives as children...when ppl see something in you that is special and they don't have, that's when their ugliness shows -

Such generalizations. After listening for just one minute I conclude that you found out that lumping everybody into the same basket was stupid but it took you 25 years to find that out. Wow! More people are killed or injured traveling in car than in a mountain bike. There are 50 states in the USA so most statements you make may refer to just one or two states. Canada has 10 provinces and the health care is slightly different in each province. Wait until you have lived in any country for a few years before you can talk authoritatively about it. Canada is a good country to live in so is Australia but even better are some or the northern or western countries in Europe where health care is affordable and good and food is affordable and good. The USA has more millionaires and billionaires and a lot of them are in government. Think about that. Lots of guns and judging by the news quite a few racist cops who never get punished. Think about that too. Bad water in many places; also worth thinking about. There are more lobbyists than there are legislators and they all make money; think about that and ask yourself why.

it's not the religion.... it's the mac's convenience and the corner stores selling tropicana juice for 6 bucks a liter. It's the family oriented hiring policies and the rural area stores being bought and not offering fishing bait, ice or firewood but instead offering dollar store fishing lures for 20 bucks. it's the electronic stores that sell tape decks and old CD players. The stuff that really makes a bad impression is when a muslim family buys a Pizza Pizza or a subway and then changes the restaurant so that there is no where to be seated and the food is processed by someone who won't look me in the eye once and speaks a language that I can't understand to an employer about my sandwich and i will never know what the problem was. I feel like my spanish and native friends treat me the same as them. I feel like the scottish guy who hates me for not waking up at 5 in the morning is only mad because i'm not working as hard as him. I'm saying that maybe a lot of muslims don't want to be our friends and maybe some do... but it seems like they don't want to be my friend but will message a pretty white girl on every single facebook post with paragraphs of physical praise. i probably get a lot of facts wrong... but that world may be too far away for us to acclimate into each others societies. I'd like it though if we could all live in such a manner where we could feel like we aren't all gunning for a chunk of the world.

Racial profiling is a myth. It's unfortunate an entire race must pay the price but when the majority is committing the crime the innocent few are irrelevant. These are the facts. One comment blamed white people but a lot of these people shown making remarks to the woman collecting money were not white. I live in Northern Ontario, and I have never actually been to thr USA, but I know someone who moved to Milwaukee and moved back to Canada because he couldn't handle certain mentalities people had. He said it definitely wasn't everyone, but the whole gun thing freaked him out. He knew a lot of people who carried guns around regularily, and so he always felt he needed to censor himself so he didn't want to offend or make anyone angry, because of thr guns. His brother lives in California and he loves it there, but Milwaukee wasn't for him. It was an interesting conversation

There are a lot of things that we have not put into law, because they are covered by common sense. If a Muslim woman goes into a shop and makes a purchase It is reasonable for the shop keeper to want to see their face, after all a large robe can hide a lot of shop lifted goods.. We can make that law if it becomes necessary, so a person must comply with the law and not claim that their religious law is greater. Trouble with the Muslim religion is that it is a political system within a religion.. Just think of all the wrong that was done in the name of Christianity, we have learnt from that, now the Muslims have to learn the same lesson.

The issue is islam, not all muslims. Unfortunately those two often go hand in hand, making it hard to criticizes islam without people thinking you are criticizing all muslims, which isn’ the case. \n\nThe issue with the religion of islam is that it is inherently not peaceful (If you want to discuss why that is more so the case than other religions we can do that). In fact in many situations you will hear Islamic muslins part of a western country use the free speech given to them, under the laws and constitution of that society, in order to impose the suggestion of sharia law. This would mean no more free speech (and far more dire consequences) for others not of islamic belief under sharia law. Sharia law is a set of religious political laws used in the majority of middle eastern Islamic countries and cultures. It is truly a backward and barbaric set of laws, incompatible with democracy and I encourage you to investigate that claim. \n\nSo essentially decreasing islam in any scenario will also decrease the political climate it wants to live in. And not only live in, but given to text in the Koran, effectively dominate. Religious assimilation and toleration is not part of the religion. And in the small case that it is, those religious peoples are second class citizens. \n\nSo you can see how it may sound harsh to say “get rid of islam/muslims” if you are ignorant to the fact of both their possible separation and islam’s eventual political goals. \n\nNot all muslims want sharia law or are as fundamental/radical as others, but that distinction can be hard to make for many people, when a lot of them are silent. All you see are the riots and bombings across the globe by radical islamists, with little or no condemnation by the former. However once again I state, the issue is islam, not all muslims.\n\nIf you think I myself am ignorant of any of this information please attempt to convince me otherwise and I will thoroughly read your argument.

There is so much negativism associated with Islam and all Muslims get tarred with the same brush. They frighten us. Their dress is alien to us. ISIL and other groups do unspeakable things in the name of their religion. Their religion is too demanding. Christianity and other religions can adjust to scientific facts. We KNOW the world is round and there are other worlds, so far unpopulated, out there. Islam seems to demand adherence to its core beliefs written centuries ago and makes no concessions to emerging facts. Religion is the main influence in the life of Muslims and their Imams seem to have a lot to do with governance and education, instead of the separation of church and state to which we are used. If you come to Canada to live, then adjust to our values or leave, please. This doesn't mean that you have to stop attending a mosque but please discontinue the scary body coverings and start treating your women as equals, not chattels. Even some women will argue with that last bit, but why does a woman have to cover up and a man does not? This is NOT equality.

Im not a racist so don't brand me one, what I want is true equality which means that I'm not going to pander to minorities for the sole reason that they are minorities. The incessant complaining about stereotypes towards blacks is ridiculous, all races have their own stereotypes. If someone saw a well dressed black person heading into an office building they wouldnt think twice but if someone saw a young black kid dressed like a gangster,smoking dope and acting shady theyre going to think suspiciously of you and there is nothing wrong with that. stop making it about race when it has a lot more to do with how you behave and act. The drive to get more black people in positions over authority for the sake of diversity is itself racist, the best person for the job is the person who should be in office if 8/10 judges are white and they are in fact the best people for the job then their should be no desire to change such things, we need to evaluate the character of a person and not their race.
