Option 1 we gonna SPEND a HUGE amount of money to deport millions of people. \nOption 2 we filter out high crime immigrants and filter those out, after we charge $20000 each illegal for a 2 year visa and work permit as a trial time, and see how they contribute to society. \n Do you have any idea how much money will come in?? It will close 1/4 of your countries deficit.\n Look I'm an immigrant myself, and I was brought in legally as a kid. However because of the difficulties or the bureaucracy I was left out of status. The company I worked for (a delaship) wants me back, customers reach out to me directly because they trusted me and were happy with my performance as their advisor. But guess what I can't work, but I also can't be deported because my country of birth is at war. And I dont want to go back quite frankly because it's back there I'm gonna be an alien more than I am here. I finished a degree and paid my way through collage here I grew up here, and even though because of the problems of the immigration system I was constantly limited with basic equal opportunities I still see this as my home, and actually appreciate this country more than some people I know that were born here. \n Now again - I suffered plenty with being limited as an immigrant here and I was forced to work shitty heavy labor for years and years, I worked overtime plenty with no overtime pay and such (y'all just have no idea what immigrants life is) and in my case - I got stuck in that status for 2 decades. Where I could have had a high degree by now, I instead have been just busting my ass for peanuts. I never asked for any help from the government here even when I could have, never filed unemployment. \nAnd after all this you gonna deport me? Great fucking plan. Land of brave and opportunity ??

These immigrants have drained our economy with all the free money cards they were given the free housing clothing phones etc… \nGo back , want to come back … great get vettted be prepared to work hard and no freebies !!! Well, when the number of illegal immigrants per year far exceeds the number of new jobs per year, then the wages of the working class people will not keep up with inflation. Under Biden, the new jobs each year was an average of 1.2 million, but the number of illegal immigrants coming in looking for jobs was over 2 million people. For comparison, under Obama illegal immigration was just 300-400K per year. So as you can now see, the border crisis was a much bigger issue than the Democrats cared to admit.

It will be nice to screen and welcome immigrants that contribute to the United States instead of coming here for free healthcare and welfare. As an American who escaped that hellscape, I garauntee you America has a laughable immigration system. In other countries, inspectors come in and check literally every employee. The fines are huge for businesses. It works, but it just increases criminality.

It was announced today on the news that the Trump initiative to deport all illegal immigrants will cost up to $1 trillion dollars. That’s a lot of moolah. Which will come out of our taxes. And the tariffs that he went on and on about. Companies aren’t giving out bonuses to workers for end of year. Because they have to save money now because Trump will impose tariffs on incoming goods. The workers didn’t understand they assumed the cost would be paid by importers. In reality, it will trickled down to American consumers who have to pay for goods. Economists have been saying during the election this is a bad idea.Trump tried to do it the last time he was in office and it didn’t work. So people be aware you think you can’t afford things now wait you won’t be able to afford anything. PS the government has nothing to do with price gouging for food and they don’t set the price for gasoline or electricity, etc. ????

When we immigrated to Canada we had to pass english exams, health checks and paid a lot of money. We came here and are grateful to be here. We did not come here to demand that our culture and religion be respected. We gave this up. If they can just walk across the border then all those who paid should get there money back.\nWe did not demand any help. We worked our buts off to make it work.
