There are some inaccuracies in here. Since Feb 2024 Canada has required that Mexican nationals either have a temporary visa or are able to qualify for entry via the eTA program (usually business people and tourists). That doesn’t mean they can enter the USA legally.\n\nAn easy solution is to just legislate that foreigners who can’t prove that they entered the country legally (by stopping for an interview at an official border crossing) should be designated as here illegally and forever forfeit the opportunity to be here legally. So simple. \n\nOf course the constitution allows anyone to claim asylum without entering at an official border crossing. That’s a huge hole created by well meaning naive politicians. Time for a 28th Amendment I think. \n\nAs for Canada’s defense from Russian bombers….Canada could very well defend itself from those. Both the U.S. and Canada jointly patrol and guard the northern border as part of NORAD.

I wonder what would happen if all of the people against these open borders went to their banks and pulled all of their cash out. Imagine almost an entire country pulling their cash out of banks. The banks would crumble without us. You want to control the government without guns and war take their money away from them.

The USA should take over Canada and become the biggest country in the world. Canada is a mess-up place that had nine years of liberal politics that destroyed the entire country. Canada has no military power, they cannot protect the upper border from Russia and China. The US air force take care of that, and they should not. In the 1990s, when we traveled up to Blaine, WA we would take the children to Peace Arch Park and let them play. My son, (around 5 or 6 yo) would do a Bart Simpson where the border was and hop on one foot then switch to the other foot back and forth saying U.S.......Canada.....U.S. .......Canada. While they were playing I would on occasion see a male with a back pack crossing from one country to another. Can only imagine it now. Those poor people who live in Blaine.

In most of history, a country would consider this an act of war. Another country can’t just allow a massive flood of foreign entities into another nations borders and not have it be considered an act of aggression. The USA should annex Canada. As a fully disabled Army veteran who was raised by the southern border in New Mexico, who has seen first hand what the cartels are capable of, I have been saying this was going to happen for a long while now. The cartels have already expanded their operations and even the head of the DEA confirmed this, they are in every major US city. They have been growing like this since the first day Biden took office, and Tommy G's interview with one of the coyotes confirmed this months ago. The cartels are exploiting this country's weaknesses in seeing this as a political issue when it's concerns our nation's national security. It's going to have impacts for this country for years or even decades to come, and knowing what I do from where I grew up it's going to be really bad for a lot of innocent naive people.

I do not think non-Canadians realize how damaged our country has been by Justin Trudeau. We now live in a tyranny, there isn't an election until October 2025. It is being uncovered that both the last two federal elections were interferred with by foreign actors, and the Prime Minister knew. I've been saying this all while everyones eyes have been on our southern borders that why isn't anyone looking at our northern borders as they have to be just as bad if not worse. Hmm I feel so bad for everyone involved in this. I don't really want cartels going over the US border but I really don't mind all the people fleeing from countries that are even worse then the US. So many of them have such horror stories from their native countries. And if they're willing to work here I don't think there should be really a problem. I just really wish they wouldn't all congregate in the big cities and would move more to a lot of the rural places that are losing people. The housing is getting so expensive in the big cities I'm not sure how they can afford even stay there.

Thank you Biden/Harris for spending approx. $500 billion taxpayer dollars on this open border, while America is $34.7 Trillion dollars in debt. There is a Northern Border? Wow, and all this time the only focus was on the Southern border. Never has anybody mentioned anything about any barrier on the Northern border, just the Southern one. Some how walling off the entire Southern border will protect the entire borders of the USA, even the ones in the Ocean. \n\nPlanes do not exist, and people do not use them to enter the country legally, then like it so much they decide to stay when their VISA expires. Nope, this never happens. But that is OK, once the Southern Border is walled off, even planes wont be able to get people in.

I agree we need better border protection, but it's foolish to think, like Trump claims, that international terrorists are crossing our southern border when most are coming from countries closer to our northern border. It is less patrolled and easier to cross.

Just to be clear: Migrants are NOT Immigrants. Immigrants have plans to come to a country, to become citizens, and be productive (if they succeed or not is another matter), a Migrant, is 95% just a bum, they have no intent to integrate with the nation, they have no skill set, their goal is to invade without using weapons, and yes entire families can be clased this way. Canada is actually a small country like Switzerland. It only looks big on the map. Only 100 kms area north of US border is livable.

Some of these immigrants are coming to do harm to the US . They are usually from Muslim countries and African countries. Most coming from South/central America are coming to work in the US , ecape violence/gangs and are also Christians (same religion ). #2 trump stated he will take away birthright citizenship. That is, if both parents are born/citizens from, for example, Syria, then their children born in US will not be granted US citizenship. The children will granted citizenship of their parents. As I watched alot of EU countries Finland, Poland, Lativia closed their borders to immigrants. The US wants to do the same . We gets labeled racists for wanting this same policy. Those EU countries got applauded ??for closing their borders for safety concerned for their citizens. If Canadian or American were to move to either country, we respect them. Americans respect Canadian laws, culture ect . Americans also wouldn't move to Canada or the UK to commit crimes or overthrow the government. Why don’t they get the fact that Egypt created the Gaza Strip and imprisoned the so called Palestinians on it . When we came 28 years ago 1st time in Montreal there was very limited south Asian immigrants. Health care was top of the world..living standard was best with less expensive housing & other costs.. Now we live in Toronto & after 28 years its a totally different country. Health care is verge of collapse. 6 to 7 hours waiting in Hospital, 3 hours waiting to see a family doctor. No housing for new people. Car theft is high in the world. Lots of drugs in young people. No job for immigrants while local born young people struggling to find jobs. Only highy educated from local universities people gets job. Food cost higher than US, Europe. Large country but 80% people lives close to US borders. Northern part of Canada is empty. Racism getting higher & higher.. All these problems started after Trudeau came in power. During Harper time Canada was top of the world. Trudeau adoped reckless immigration policy. He brought people here without developing infrastructure like new hospitals, schools, housing etc.. Now most of students are living in stress here. 4/5 people living in one room. No job.. Education tuition fees are very high.. Therefore, new people coming to Canada must do their own research before come here. 99% political asylum cases are getting rejected & facing deportation. Students will not get work permit until they finish their course & get a job from employer.. Trudeau time is over. Conservative party will come to power next year & they will make immigration tougher.
