I agree with all you said. I left Canada in 2018 after struggling there for 20 years. I am fortunate to also have American citizenship. Unsure why I held out in Canada as long as I did. So much easier to live in the USA. One thing you missed were the lockdowns. It caused massive disruption to people’s lives and many friendships and families were destroyed. My mother left in 2022 for exactly those reasons. Many others that she’s met now in her current country of residence left for the same reasons. Trudeau. What can I say…??

Honestly, over flooded with Indian Students, and Indians,Indians also feel uncomfortable.Its more than 2 Millions, one million came from one Indian state - Kerala and rest from Gujarat, Haryana,Kolcutta, Bihar,etc. All Indians came Older, younger in Internation students visa that half million of them already started working or once got admission,started working,not attending school, therefore, had affected Canadians that started to loose their daily job.It has never happend like, this INDIANS are Greedy by nature because of unemployment and POOR COUNTRiES. While it might cost $20B to deport illegal immigrants, as of right now there are estimates between $150B and $450B a year of taxpayer money to keep them in the country. So even if you are not good at math, I'd prefer to spend $20B on every 1M, to stop wasting every year $150B. \nYour biases show a lot!

10 years ago I had been called by my company to work in Germany. First discrimination I had was when a government worker told me in english that she does not speak english and if I want anything I should get a translator or learn german! Since then I have been many times facing similar discrimination even after I learned the language. The sacrifice I make is for my children as I want them to have opportunities for higher education and a larger spectrum of careers.
