This Student Visa to Work Permit thing from years ago has been stealing jobs from Canadians for too long. This group will accept and even counter offer potential employer with lower wage so they can get the job and apply for permanent residency. After that they apply the whole family to come over. Given they are not exactly rich to start with, they and their family end up costing our social assistance more. Send them home and they can apply properly.

Big BS! The crisis on rent started back in 2013 thanks to Stephen Harper! At that time, rent in Toronto was already in 2000. Ottawa started at 1000. Another thing to consider is to not argue with the police. In a traffic stop, you will usually do much better if you are polite, compliant and apologetic. They can breathalize you any time they want- no probable cause required! Yes, you have rights, and if your rights are trampled on, argue it in court, not on the roadside. Why have prices increased generally. The Gov't printed too much money to keep the Corps/Bay St Happy and share prices up. They should have just rode it out like the rest of the World (aside from Western Countries, You see the exact same thing happening... Rising costs, mass immigration, etc. coincidence? ?) . So in fact, it's not that things got more expensive... our currency deflated. Aside from US and EU at least... majority of our immigrants aren't illegals, refugees, people seeking asylum, etc. They actually can bring value to the economy (some would disagree... ?, besides that). As long as the Gov't ends the TFW BS... we'll be fine. Maybe... Doesn't help when Can Officials are sharing the bed with Sikh business Tycoons... Jagmeet, Danielle, etc. That's a story for another time.

I think they should focus on their natural population than relying on immigration. They can do 3 things to do this\n1) Ban on abortion \n2) Don't promote LGBT.\n3) Bring more young females from underdeveloped countries.

Thanks to cheap labor, American capital, and factories, we built in China...Thanks to Chinese capital and technology Mexico will be one of the biggest producers of electric vehicles..They don't need the American market. This planet has 9 billion potential customers...The right thing to do was not to put tariffs but to open an EV factory in the USA using Chinese technology and money and everybody would benefit except Elon Musk and gas and oil corporations ..BYD or NIO better than Tesla costs about 25,000$ only... Tesla sells batteries for EVs for 26 000$...The same battery made in China costs 7.000$ because China has its own lithium. We should say goodbye to Elon Musk batteries and import batteries from China or make a lithium deal with Bolivia as China did. We would have American EVs better than Tesla for just 25.000-30.000$.\nCustomers are paying tariffs and this money goes to the government...Adding tariffs on most of foreign products is the faster way to create the Great Depression as Herberr Hover did in 1930 when he added Tariffs on 2000 imported products

Americans dont really do agriculture work. Their not going to sit their and pay the average american 20 to 25 dollars an hour and keep food prices the same. How are they going to round up 15 million illegals anyways? How are they going to find all 15 million illegals? Their not going to. People are complaining about the price of eggs and pork and i would love to see the price of these things when they have to start paying people 20 to 25 dollars and i almost guarantee people would stop eating pork or eggs.

''Must to be in order of people who need for specific occupations in order of the demand work-force', EEUU have a lot of skilled workers and they don’t have a job. Hello Anna and Anastasia your channel is truly a hidden gem full of useful information and insight. I am an international student myself and I agree with all your points in the video, Canada used immigration to fix a deeper problem and that is its difficulty to incentivize the economy by having a heavily regulated environment, high taxes and low productivity. It will definitely alleviate some of the pressure on the system but, the real cause is still there. The first sector that is going to be affected will be the education as colleges and universities became over reliant with the revenue coming from Int. Students (which is not particularly small) and institution will need to adapt. When I first came here I fell in love with the country and I really feel fortunate to enjoy this beautiful place and doing everything to assimilate and integrate myself into the culture. I think here you can have a sense of hope of things improving in the future (something that is not the case in my home country) but if they do not fix the underlying problem it does not matter how much immigration they reduce, Canadians will not see a significant improvement. Keep the awesome work!!!

I just fled the country days ago, now at home! Some prices here as well are too high but literally a bit similar that Canada ( fast-food, transport as instance). Some friends asked me why I back? I just said the same thing you’re presenting about migration… Let’s see how it goes in the future

Why Colombian farmers choosed to grow coca plants? They grow like a weed. Why they choose to process the plant and sell the paste? Is easy to do it, and easy to stored.
