What police officer is so unacceptably poorly trained in even the most basic of religious tenants, and religious attire like this innocent man’s sacred Kirpan which is integral to the Sikh code of conduct…\n\nYou would expect that because Police officers are interacting with people from all ethnic and religious backgrounds that they would have the training necessary to know the basics of the main religions, but most importantly simply training officers to have some basic common sense, and maybe getting them to simply ask a few question if they don’t know… You know some basic civility and compassion for those of a different background… What a shame, that officer needs charged tbh… No excuse to be that ignorant in such a position of power and authority… Maybe a world religion course or two may help…

He is sikh not muslim. So before arresting anyone u should know. U can randomly arrest muslims its ok. 1 out 3 is belongs to a terrorist organisation. Its fine. But he isn't muslim he is a sikh.

Mass 3rd world migration has changed Toronto, Vancouver Canada - they aren't the safe, Great White North of the 1970s. Canada has huge amounts of unpopulated land, pretty much no, none of the migrants are going there - they're going to Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Vancouver and their suburbs. Not sure but Top muslim countries are also supporting Israil like Saudi Arabia, Dubai,..! No words to say on this, for me, wherever you are, your iman is strong so it will not effect you. I am not a mom yet so can not say anything about kids and their education or lifestyle. Here in Australia, I have seen a family of two children, mom is a Muslim and father was sikh so his family also, but the mom has settled everything in islamic way, her children are getting islamic knowledge, daugher wears hijab in school, read Quran, etc. I think you can make your home environment as of islamic so that it does not effect anyone of you , but still I am not sure as I am not a parent yet. Pray I become parent as we are married since 5 years

Right way for the Sikh brother to do this was, get permission from school management to carry this in school premises as it is religious. Had he done that, this issue wouldnt have occurred.

I criticized the genocide of my Sikh brothers, sisters and children in riots in Delhi in 1984. That incident is the one that led few sikhs but not all to ask for a separate nation that should be named Khalistan and I want the media to not to call those sikhs “extremists”in foreign countries, we can call them Sikhs asking for separate country, they can not be called “Khalistanis” either because Khalistan doesn’t exist. Also, sikhs and Hindus always got along well. In all India, there are sikhs living everywhere just like Hindus. There was never a conflict or dispute between them. I grew up in a society where my neighbors are all mixed Hindus and Punjabis. As much as Sikhs visit Hindu Temples same goes for Hindus visiting Gurudawaras. How about our film industry, there are so many sikh Punjabis like the Kapoors, the Malhotras, they don’t want to leave India also. I don’t want to my Indian sikhs to make a separate nation. I want the Indian police not to discriminate against certain religion and not be biased. If a Hindu policeman saves a Hindu criminal and wrongfully and falsely put a non Hindu person in jail then it’s purely wrong and discriminatory and same thing goes for a Sikh policeman. How about our soldiers, majority of our soldiers are Hindus and Sikhs, they are protecting India and it’s citizens. I want people of all religions and backgrounds in India to live peacefully and get along.

We don't have more spaces and jobs to accommodates.. They are big burden to local governments. These students in one room 4 or 5 peoples. Rent and sleep. each pay $500 or $600 wow.............. \n One of my job collage born here and her family was born here, she was crying and complaining about her kids can not get jobs at Wendy's of Tim Hortons bcuz all local Canadian students jobs are taken over by Indian students. what a Shameful and she was so upset. \nShe said Canadian citizens need to get priority to get local gas stations or fast food restaurants or super stores jobs, IT related jobs instead of international student. \ninternational students after work drive fast and don't follow traffic rules. \nImmigration Canada needs to check completer back ground ,every single Indian student or work permit visa holders. SIkh used to be a proud community. NOWADAYS, if you see any video of Brampton, Surrey or any other Canadian city, you will see only unruly Sikhs on the street creating nothing but problems.
