Nice video. I watched it as I like to learn from other perspectives.\n\nI was born in Toronto, and I must say, this “no time for life and fun” is a new thing. This lack of access to health care is a new thing. I agree with your assessment. It now seems lonelier in Toronto. \n\nCanada used to be different because anyone with a good job could afford at least a condo, but life became unaffordable not just for immigrants, but for everyone unless you are in your 50s-60s and own a home. \n\nI have friends working double jobs supporting family back home in other countries, but for some of them the family back home sound like they are doing better than them and own a home. It’s like they are sacrificing their life to be in poverty or full of hardships and their families get to go out for dinners and drinks with friends. Not them. Not true for everyone, but for some yes and I worry about their own retirement because retirement in Canada without lots of savings means you might be homeless or forced to live with family even if it’s not your preference. \n\n without investments and savings, it will be hard to beat inflation. Getting into debt and getting bad credit can mean not getting an apartment. \n\nThe birth rate is going down because it is expensive to have kids and income isn’t enough to match with living costs. Getting help from government is really not something everyone gets access too. One person might get housing support, 10 others may get nothing. Different governments offer different things. Programs end and change often. \n\nIn Canada definitely bargain and shop around for good phone plans. one idea is to get a pay as you go until “Black Friday” then every year or two when your good offer expires there will be many others. It’s the time with the best deals saving almost half. For instance, I have 50 gigs for $25 for two years from a large provider. Telephone companies are the one place where people must bargain and even ask for better deals as a must.\n\nThe people you see living in big houses, will have kids that can’t afford the same. This is because prices keep rising. The system protects the very rich, but will also drain the middle class often within 1-2 generations. Do not link your business to your personal finance, or creditors can take your home. Some not knowing this lose everything and rich people know better. \n\nPeople live until they are very old, so inheritance is pretty much meaningless to rely on, so no matter what your parents have you must hustle in life. \n\nI do think Canada can become what we want over time. Citizens need to fight the trend of great community spaces, restaurants and bars going out of business and dumb corporations move in with bad boring restaurants. Like a McDonald’s where maybe a popular cultural hang out was. \n\nPart of the problem is a lack of mixed income housing areas, so it’s hard to stay living where you grew up. Artists and musicians help make a city great, but many cannot afford to live here.\n\nFamilies and communities staying together means more support for those with young kids and older relatives when they need help. Yet how is this possible in a city that is always pushing out lower income people when wealthier people desire the area. \n\nIn Toronto, every time you move you have to take what is available and that might mean moving an hour away from everyone you know. This weakens communities. Plus, if you live too far from your work you will have no time to socialize for most the week due to travel time. \n\nI think those who grew up in Toronto do have a certain culture of acceptance with others from many cultures, because your friends at school were from all over. But with new migrants sometimes it isn’t until the second generation that their social circles get diverse. This can be isolating and it’s even isolating as those from Toronto eventually leave dreaming of staying in one spot and not forced to move constantly when a landlord investor sells every house you move into. \n\n\nToronto really needs to protect affordability of housing for at least some housing in every section so that people can save money if they live in the city, and not have to leave their communities and be far from their friends and family. \n\notherwise eventually people get sick of the hustle and it’s too tiring to travel 1+ hrs each way to visit someone during Monday to Friday. \n\n20 years ago any professional could at least buy a condo. Not today. There is too much competition now and investors are allowed to buy up all the most affordable housing that once was a pathway to owning a home. \n\nRich policy makers got greedy and destroyed canada and hopefully diversity in leadership will help make Canada better. But they perhaps people knew to Canada can reject this lonely structure and help us rebuild Toronto into an amazing place. \n\nWe need to make sure everyone can afford housing with 30% of their income. I think that will help

I think everyone is missing the point here. I Don’t support Israel’s retaliation, but I wondered why the Arab world has not taken in a single refugee. Poland didn’t condone Russia’s attack by taking in hundreds of thousands Ukrainian refugees. If Egypt, jordan, Quatar, to name the immediate Arab Neighbors would rally together to get the women and children out of harms way, surely the outcome would be better for these poor people. \n\nSadly this is not the case and it appears as though this conflict will never find a solution, as long as both parties are not able to set aside their millennia aged quarrel, acknowledge each other’s deep roots and belonging to the same land, and accept that they both come from the exact same bloodline. The exact same seed of a man named Abraham. Both parties need not to like or even tolerate each other, but they both need to respect each other’s right to co exist within that space. I’ve heard some disgusting vitriol from both sides, honestly. Both sides have and are behaving like animals. Infact animals are more civil, as their disputes are settled in a more humane manner, without the casualties within their communities. Yet, despite being created in God’s image with the ability of sophisticated communication, both sides are unable to get past their own hurt pride, at least for the sake of the innocent lives that have and continue to be lost on BOTH sides, to finally squash this matter once and for all.\n\nGrowing up I had a cousin . We both were the only Sons of our respective immediate families’, born to identical twin sisters, 3 months apart. From\nA young age everything was competition between us. Who ran faster, jumped higher, threw further. Every thing we did, and we spent a lot of time around each other, was constantly turned into a “who does it better”. This resulted in us usually throwing down as one of us, feeling like we may be on the losing end of any given task, would just get frustrated, and start soccer punching the other. And my cousin and I from the time were off the diary to the day we both matured, would THROW down. We would literally just start throwing punches at each other, it was honestly impressive how we both would manage to land equal amount of hits to look like literal bloody hell, and guess what, even those fights became competition as even our dads would throw money with the others pitching for their favourite. Fortunately, our moms, the only adults in the our community, looking back, people would just pick a side and watch as go at each other, than pull us off each other, would come stomping out of the house grab each one of us by our ears, gives us a good smack in the back our heads and sit us down, look each one of us straight in the eye, and say something like, “cut it out, you two are family, more brothers than cousins” they would demand that we both go hug it out, have a bath, if we managed to do that peacefully then we were allowed to partake in dessert that evening or allowed to stay up a little later watching tv, or whatever . My point with this overtly personal analogy is that both the Palestinian and the Israeli sides should be dragged off each there by their figurative ears pulled, sat down, scolded and reminded of their ancestrial ties to each other and to the very same land. \n\nBe honest with yourselves, some how amongst all this hate, vitriol, unnecessary death of innocent lives, are you, and those you rally with be truly ok with your opposing side coexisting harmoniously beside each other? If the answer to this question is no, the other side can not have any claim to this land and needs to be removed to god knows where, if not off the earth all together then it’s your people, not mine, that are doomed. We’ll still be chilling in North America, horrified at the unfolding events but chilling nonetheless. Although it somehow claims to not be doing so, the actions of Israel demonstrate a gruelling callousness towards Palestinian life or right to life, and the staunch calls of the constant pro Palestine protests, calling for the eradication of Israel, none absent of a deep, hate and disgust towards the Jewish people. Both are in need of serious internal reform. Honestly as a complete outsider, SHAME ON BOTH OF YOU. I don’t care who started it, or who said or did what, at this point it is imperil that this end immediately. And as an outsider, I think it’s is important that pressure be applied to both sides to put their weapons down. I don’t recall the last time anyone even mention the Israeli hostages, putting any pressure on Hamas to do the one thing that would definitely appease the Israelis. In the same breathe, Israel needs to be further pressured to stop being so trigger happy and lay off of it. \n\nI can only hope, I guess. In the meantime i should really refrain from ranting on YouTube.

I came in Windsor Ontario as a foreign worker in 2009, wasn't the best time to look for a job there but still. I did 1 year of studying, worked again, left for Alberta in 2012 where I still am. Got my PR in 2014 and citizenship in 2022. Most of the things I hear against living in Canada must be true, I don't doubt it but I'm just not aware of them. I didn't even know there was a bank account freezing during COVID. It wasn't easy to get a good job, I had to leave for a small community in Alberta to get the most of what I wanted and that's why I am oblivious to the harsher reality that people have to endure in Toronto or Vancouver. But the thing is, as soon as I landed in Toronto and got robbed 50$ by some guy (this is just an anecdote not the real reason), I knew I shouldn't try to make a living there. I know job opportunities are in those big cities but please, if you can, there are great communities that need people, workers, consumers and families. If you can land a job there, move! At least try. It doesn't even have to be that far up north, nor to be a mini small village. Small city, rural living, no criminality, cheap housing, lots of space, family friendly, no traffic, no wait time to see a doctor, friendly people, douchebags, we have it here. Are they drawbacks? Yes of course. Need to drive 1 or 2 hour to get a scan or an MRI, car dependance is exacerbated but hey, it feels like a free country where no one have been overpriced...yet.

Getting ill causing a month long stay in the ICU left me homeless as living paycheck to paycheck causes once the cheques stop , I was placed in a Toronto homeless shelter 3 years ago and I can tell you that African refugees enter a shelter and no more than 3 weeks later are housed usually 5 at a time all Getting a fully paid market value 1 bedroom apartment average price $2,600 monthly that with a monthly welfare cheque and free food dental medical prescriptions clothing WIN WIN WIN the Canadian born homeless shelter residents get put on a 38,000 name waiting list for Ontario's drug infested housing ghettos the Africans are being housed under a kept secret program called COHB secret from us Canadian homeless that is and I've witnessed this now at 5 different shelters I've been in, having befriended one of the African migrants who is a little unstable drinking alcohol and smoking pot so he hasn't been housed but he has shown me the paper work that has been housing his fellow illegal immigrants and I say illegal because they all came as visitors only to claim asylum as soon as they land he also told me they all borrow the money for their plane tickets from a gang who once they land and start instantly getting welfare have to send half the proceeds back to this gang in Africa for the next two years , in this shelter donated clothing comes in everyday and two African shelter residents fold and sort the clothing taking all the name brand clothes what they didn't hand out to the other Africans they walk to the post office and ship it back to Africa I'm not making this shit up after we complained to staff which also happen to be made up from the Africans themselves yes they've hired wolves to watch over the other wolves so they now aren't walking out the front door everyday with garbage bags full of clothes at least not in front of our eyes DON'T CALL ME RACIST I know that's the go to word when this insanity is made public , what do you think is the first thing these Africans do when they walk into their free apartment? If I was Prime Minister. I would Ban the immigrant Visa program for the next 10 years. I would deport anyone who has overstayed there welcome (those with expired visas) or are here (illegally) and now (not documented) \n\nThat alone would take many out of the shelters, homes, rentals, streets that should not be in the Country anymore. Leaving the resources and the people who work and volunteer for those resources to help the Canadian people (which would be the prime reason for this) Canadians first ! \n\nI would cut the Carbon Tax. Lower the Property Tax. Put a cap on all Strata fees. Lower the deficit. \n\nBuild more Hospitals and treatment centers. Put a ban on drugs and safe injections (as we know there is no such thing) \n\nMake it mandatory for those in need due to drug and mental issues (that have been diagnosed with such) to go to treatment centers (while building more centre's and hiring qualified professionals workers) to stop the crisis. \n\nChange laws on crimes and the time and penalty behind them. Doubling and tripling the time served and raising bail fees by 50% to keep folks that have criminal pasts off the streets <---- for first time offenders. \n\nFor those that have multiple offenses. Quadruple the jail times and put bail amounts 100% more then what they are now. \n\nGive those that kill, ra*e, torture, (and things along that nature (the death penalty) \n\nI would remove the mandate for Electric Vehicles for Canada. Where only 1 vehicle per manufacturer would have to be Electric. So if somebody wants it. It's there but the majority would be. While those that make less than $400.000 get taxed less. \n\nI would Lower the provincial taxes by 2% effective immediately and the Minimum wage across all provinces would be $17.75 an hour for full time workers (over 32 hours per week) with .25 cent yearly increases until 2030 to be reassessed. \n\nI would give Tax cuts to those who want to open businesses and build and sell Canadian Products to make sure Canadian Goods are affordable to make. Still have a profit to slow down overseas production creating more Canadian jobs for Canadian People. \n\nEvery Worker that works 24 hours or more weekly is getting Benefits making it mandatory for all types of business owners to make benefits available to the workers and ensuring the plan covers a minimum of 50% throughout the entire year. \n\nI would raise the pension to those who have worked 25+ years in Canada and remain in Canada as a retiree for a minimum of 6 months of the year 5% \n\nShrinkflation will stop. Write more. Understand more. I was moving back to Edmonton in October 2023 and the vacancy rate was 0.0001% the apartment I got, if i did not take it (the area is so rough) I would have had to stay with a friend and hoped and prayed that in November more people were moving so something else could/would become available. \n\nThen I talked to everyone in this building. Once the 1 year lease is up they months rent 250$ so they suck you into a an apartment where homeless are sleeping in the laundry room smoking meth for $1000 and then up the rent to 1250$ and the area is like the ones you were exploring. Even a very close friend of mine went from packing her kids lunches, working casually (when they needed) as a janitor at Edmonton public school board to staying at salvation Army and it getting full to living in Tent City. whatever you are saying that is correct but it is only one side bro, go and just ask international students what they have been promised here in Canada and how they are living here. Even most of the engineers, doctors and other professionals with foreign experience ended up doing general labor or uber driver jobs and even on the basis of their education and work experience they got permanent residency. No one likes to work on these hard jobs but they don't have any other option as most of skilled worker jobs either need their respective field license or Canadian experience. how much fees international student paying, what kind of job they are doing here, living far from family, managing studies and job, how much debt they took to study here and much more sacrifices doing here. Do not say then why came here because applied through legal process and full filled all the necessary criteria. Was it our fault that we dreamed about study and work here in Canada?. I just want to know the food bank is for Canadian or international students? Sorry, Canada don't need international students who come here to fight for food with Canadian. Corrupt and vicious politicians know that Mosques control Muslims through specific leaders. The Mosque also decides who the ordinary Muslim will cast his vote for. And these people coming into the country DO NOT HAVE ANY SKILLS. Many are going to school here to get an education/skills. The idea is that they return home after they finish school. But that's NOT happening. They remain here and take jobs away from Canadians. They get hired over those who are Canadian. We all know this to be true. In addition while going to school here they bring in their whole family. Now it's costing the Tax Payer to look after these people. Many are older and require Medical Treatment, drugs, surgeries, etc. Immigration does NOT stimulate the economy. It drains our finances leading to bankruptcy. We are fast being replaced and our culture is being dissolved. Just look at other countries where this has happened like Britain, Ireland, etc.

I'll tell you why, its because it's what the WEF wants for all the West, they know this will add to our economic problems , cause conflict, destroy the middle class, and push people to needing more government, IE 15 minute cities , and then their New World Order, run by Klaus Schwab and his elite pals.

Just wait till we see what happens to the student loan crisis we are already in, once AI has made all the non stem, non trade grads obsolete.\nThe fact that those grads were more qualified for entry-level positions previous to postsecondary education. I think that immigrants need to understand that until immigrants are 4th gen in Canada, they are not generally fully assimilated...Canada' brings immigrants in for their kids (second gen)...but by third gen...least successful group.
