On my LinkedIn I get people from all over the world who want to come, from Europeans to Brazilians and all these people contact me looking for opportunities. Our gov't prioritized low wage workers who they can practically enslave with minimum wage short term then turn around and kick them out.\n\nThis is the most egregious thing I've ever seen and they do it the most Canadian way too, with a smile and popish attitude. \n\nAll these Walmart, Tim Hortons, basically all these service jobs should be going to locals and locals ONLY! I've never seen an indian eating from Tim Hortons but 100% of the people who work there are indian. Why? because they're working in slave labor.

The government brings them here and they don’t want to work they live off the government I understand there is some that are willing to work and build their dream but most of them just come here to take advantage of the system and receive welfare and take all the resources from Canadians including the veterans and people born in this country who are homeless liberals are completely clueless I never see a homeless immigrant most of them are either white or native it is ridiculous ! They are skilled migrants. Why do Canada take them in? Because they lack skilled white people to do their jobs. Also lack of population. Indians don’t do drugs and they work and earn money and contribute to the society. And for the matter of fact they don’t just come from India they are invited to Canada from India by Canadian government policies and by Canadian companies. Medical and IT professionals are given big offers to come and live in Canada. However that may not be the case for students. Students are in large numbers and they want to stay back. Too many students is a problem. Colleges just take in too many of them, because they pay the money. Bring some control over colleges and students intake. There are too many new colleges just for business and that’s not good.

I work for an Canadian Indian trucking company in Texas and I have to say Indians are some of the most racist people I've ever met. Same Here 25% of taxes every week from my pay check, one day the company gave me $500 bonus for my performance, ? but ended up with $309 because of the taxes. It funny how you work hard receive a compensation for that and the gov take his taxes from your sacrifices. I've lived here 6 years and can't wait to leave. Salaries are just enough to get by. I work full-time as an analyst and am looking for a minijob just to save money, which I already live quite modestly. It's easy to come across nasty unfriendly people, neighbors, service people, people in government agencies. I hate people staring in the most unfriendly manner or givng attitude for no reason other than they are nasty people. Don't get me wrong, there are nice people as well, but the bad experiences outweigh the good. Beauracracy is overbearing, personalities are underwhelming, the food scene is underwhelming, learning German is a big burden when you work a full-time job (and now I need a minijob too??). The country seems like it wants to diminish the human spirit and ambition. I definitely regret moving here. Many housing companies are over charging rent. I found out the company, Deutschewohnen, who owns my apartment was overcharging me by nearly double!! I had to go through a year long court procession to get them to lower it to the legal price which I won. And now they sent me a letter last month saying they are raising my rent, which is illegal and I have to go through ANOTHER court battle with them. Of course it is exhausting to try and find another apartment. Some people search up to a year. What a joke. And not to mention the dating scene. I've been single the entire 6 years and I'm quite an outgoing, friendly, loveable person. Dating Germans comes with own weird experiences and I refuse to give them a chance anymore, for my own mental health. If you're POC, it's not uncommon to come across strange sexualizations and general lack of understanding other's cultures. A couple years ago I was attacked by 8 men while walking home at night. I ended up in the hosopital and there was an investigation opened. The police asked me why they attacted me, which I didn't know since it was unprovoked. They just followed me for awhile, surrounded me and started beating me. The police said it was probably because I'm Asian. Meanwhile, I'm not even Asian!!! I'm Latino. ??‍♂This is the type of ignorance POC have to deal with in Germany. Also, I only have 1 German friend and all my other friends are immigrants (which I love) but this poses it's own frustrations because many people move here, then move away after a few years when they learn they can have a more fulfilling life elsewhere. So keeping long term day-to-day friends can be a challenge. The entire system is exhausting and there's not enough balance to bring joy to my life to want to stay. When I lived in NYC, an African American aquaintance had just moved there after living in Berlin for 8 years. She warned me not to move here because I will never feel I belong. I didn't listen. That was a big mistake. Germans can have Germany. I'll find my joy elsewhere. End of rant. haha

It's not our fault, it is not a crime to study or work anywhere in the world. It is all about dirty politics and business. Companies need cheap and skilled labour and thus laws are bended for their benefits. \n\nNobody wants to live thousands of kilometres away from their homeland but when it comes to livelihood people are forced to do so.

She is not wrong fully, I have met good sofesticated indians living in Canada and they say that people coming from mostly Punjab and Haryana have made a havoc in Canada. They are too loud, dirty and filthy. There is a big safety concers for Canadians and even Indian origin canadians in Canada. Even our people who have gone there to work legally say that they don't want any indian in Canada. I am living in Europe and I see the same thing. People from our country just don't have any civic sense, they are mostly very dirty and because of them, many people find it difficult to find a apartment. Before slamming that lady, we should think of ourselves and we should improve our nation first.

Due to overregulation things are getting worse & worse. Sorry am not a Canadian or an immigrant in Canada, but Canada continues to welcome tens of thousands of new permanent residents as it works towards a target of 485,000 newcomers in 2024. The latest available figures show that, as of May, the country had welcomed 210,865 new permanent residents this year. So don't blame them instead of your government who demeans their own people.

But where people had heard that Canada is a affordable country??? It’s not. And this is why we are travelling outside of the country during vacation so we can enjoy our dollar elsewhere where we have minimal taxes. The first immigrant generation will work 50hrs/week to survive and then the second generation will have a much better life… this is how immigration work. Trust me, i am from the second generation.

In Canada, there is not enough housing and jobs are scarce, especially for anyone at the entry level or basic wage. We've been absolutely swamped. This is not the fault of the immigrants or the students, it's the fault of our extremely stupid and short sighted government. Most of those immigrants I encounter are good people, polite and considerate. But some, well I understand where the complaints about rude and inconsiderate behaviour come from, because it only takes a few bad experiences to get people angry. I've experienced it myself, but most of it (from my experience) seems to be from students who are very loud and impolite on public transit. The housing situation here is INSANE, prices are sky high and very little to choose from. A lot of seniors now can only afford to rent a room (after having worked all their lives and very little to show for it), and prices are up about 50% from only 5 years ago. The government says inflation is a fraction of what it is in real life, and living expenses have exploded. As I understand it, some people made a lot of money offering services to bring students and low wage workers in, with no consideration to the damage they were doing to all of us who were born and raised here - they wanted to make their million dollars. Another problem is that once someone arrives here, what they find is NOT what they were led to believe. What students and immigrants are told they need to live here is an absolute lie, living here in Canada has become very expensive. Many workers are severely under paid, and never even see the legal minimum wage, and the problem with that is, almost no Canadian will be hired on to those jobs - the reasons are that imported foreign workers will work below minimum wage because they are trapped here, and the Canadians already know that they will only struggle if they take jobs that pay so poorly. So yes, a lot of Canadians are VERY angry, and you really can't blame them. Once again, the Canadian government is responsible for much of this, and crooked employers who are willing to take advantage of low wage labour. It's an absolute mess.

Pooping On beach, in the public pool, sexual harassment crimes happening everywhere, illegally net fishing salmon who came back to the river and lay eggs, peeing in public, hygiene problem in food industry everywhere and bring down the name of Tim Hortons and others, making noises everywhere, people (specially old people) gether aound at public parks and taking All the space and leave no place for other people to use, most of them are experienced by myself or my friends, so they are not fake news.And if there is an indian manager at any work place, then there are no chances for other people but indians. Need more reasons ? That's already enough I think. If they are thinking or behave like you, my friend, I don't mind at all, I don't care how many they come here, but unfortunately, a lot of them causing problems. 5-10 % of 100k people is not bad, but 5-10 % of 3 million is not a small number.

Quater is even better especially for nurses. You can secure a job as a nurse in quater but in Egypt everyone will work as a slave ( doing cleaning and nanny jobs) with loads of other unpaid jobs on top of $400-500/ months. Am surprised you didn't add Egypt to the lists because our people are many there.
