In Canada, there used to be a difference between ‘immigrant’ & ‘refugee’. Trudeau and his government have made these two groups into one. My family immigrated from England in the 1950s. My father had to have a job waiting for him when we arrived. We had to go through health checks. My parents had to prove that we had a specific amount of money so that we would not be a drain on Canada. Trudeau has opened the border to anyone wanting to come no matter if they have anything to offer Canada.

Wealthy societies, like Canada, began with charity supporting refugees in the whole world. This is based on the Ideologie of human rights. This big scale charity will be financed of tax of these Wealthy countries. Now the case is the the economics is declining and a refugees getting more, which leads allover to higher taxes, which again makes business suffer. Si the negative trend is stronger. The issue is not just the students I agree and seen students who came recently have made things mess but who to blame how can a country ask even 5.5 bands holders can get visa …..but major issue is the refugees who are coming they are paid for being refugee ….the taxes of Canadian are been given free to refugees …I came across a Afghan family they get almost 7000 dollars a month they don’t do anything they eat good pay for their grocers and enjoy life on the other hand Indian students pay thousands of dollars to come here giving share in the economy but guys from haryana punjab who are just 12th pass immature they are spoiling the name of the entire community as a whole it’s sad to see

Okay. To begin with, being white does not automatically make one Canadian. Immigration is the foundation of Canada; it is all about which generation of immigrant you are. The one mistake Canada made was to accept an excessive number of immigrants and students during a short period of time. This allowed students to work full-time employment, defeating the purpose of student visas. Why is no one discussing asylum seekers or refugees, which has made matters worse? All amenities, housing, etc., are provided to refugees using taxpayer funds. The money paid by taxpayers is meant to be used by those who made the tax payments. \n\nAll legal immigrants pay substantial fees and continue to pay taxes while they are employed, none of which has an impact on the economy. \n\nEmployers always give preference to Canadians with the necessary abilities over immigrants, even if the latter have higher skill levels. Despite having excellent credentials and expertise, I was not selected for any interview because I am not Canadian. Thus, give up lying and acting like the victim. Concentrate on the real issue. You are the preferred candidate for any employer if you are Canadian and meet the requirements.

Before coming to this amazing country in 1990. I had tried living in Germany and the United States but nothing was much opportunistic about the Northern Canadian Territory. Khalistanis are ruining Canada, but its on the Canadian gov't who ignored India's warning about these radicals and now they have a problem, which ofc they blame on the entirety of Indians. This is all her mother's fault. You can blame the lawyer all you want, but we have brains for a reason. When they followed the bad advice to apply as refugees and were DENIED, the mother should have used the other option and got citizenship through the grandmother. Instead she did nothing and left her daughter with no official status. You cannot go to another country and just live there with no official status, she didn't even get residency for her child. Shame on her for being negligent, well now the girl has to return to France.

I strongly believe that this is not only done by Indians but it's a administrations problem to make heads of India and give more importance to refugee instead of immigrants who paid taxes & give maximum fulfill shortage of labour to the country.

It is hard to pinpoint a specific reason why, but since the COVID 19 pandemic the economy in the whole world got weaker and the natural instinct of the people is to find something to blame. \n\nSome countries blame immigrants, others blame refugees, others blame poor government, others blame weak currency policy, like in Japan. If there were no indians in Canada they would just find something else to put the blame on. Indians immigrants are just easier to spot.

Jobs are hard to get, right?...... Why do they come here? They come with thousands of dollars in their pockets. They are NOT poor and NOT refugees. They come and stay with similar people who charge them a thousand a month for a 3' x 6' cot or floor space in a 3=bed apartment with 35-or 40 other tenants. I have seen it myself. Some of these Indian/Paki landlords live like kings on the profit. They go to the most expensive restaurants where a dinner for 6 = $6oo to $8oo.oo. They are buying expensive cars and they are looking for/buying properties to start businesses. They come the illegal route because of the red tape in the legal way..

But western countries need to take in millions of refugees. Do we say you need to lift the weight of no food and no clean water. One of the richest regions who promote a religion that is loving but don’t take any in. Funny how us non believers help more.

Don't come to Polish border illegally through Belarus, please. You will encounter forests with swamps and wild animals in the summer and -40 degrees Celsius in the winter. It's certain death. I came to Canada in 1984 as a refugee from former Czechoslovakia. What a fabulous place Canada was then! \nNow, if things don't change (!), it looks like I will be soon living in 1984 again. In Orwell's 1984 that is. My kids are not panicking yet, but they understand what I am warning them about. If they decide to leave one day, having no debt will be the key. People with debt will be locked down.
