If I want to work in the USA, I have to apply for a visa and work permit, present my documents, qualifications and credentials, plus criminal record and health check, show that I have adequate medical insurance and enough money to fund my stay. If granted permission to come, I then have to present myself at an official port of entry.\n\nALTERNATIVELY, I can fly to Colombia, pay gangsters to guide me through the Central American jungle, sneaking clandestinely through several countries along the way, and pay the local cartel to smuggle me illegally across the southern US border. Then I get free transport to a US destination of my choice, free housing, free clothes and personal items, free healthcare and legal advice, and a work permit without all that pesky paperwork.

The american people voted for this! When a city or town gets an increase in population, the average american has to pay for this not only in higher taxes, but these folks aren't going to rich areas they go to lower income and middle class areas. Putting a strain on resources that everyday americans need.

Americans should remove sanctions on South American countries then these countries can get in with their economies and make better living conditions.

We need to get our country strong again before worrying on others, Americans first Mexico needs to get theirs stuff together too,and for the people that are in this country is god bless American not viva Mexico that what us need to keep in your mind if you want to stay Mexico is not your problem no more

This post over-simplifies the situation. The reason Indians get rejected is because Indians abuse the visa system. How many Indians come to the US/UK on student visas and immediately start to look for work? How many sham Indian-American IT outsourcing companies rent their H1-visas to the highest bidder? How many Indians simply overstay their visas?

In Asia they would be shot. Thats why I have so much respect for those countries. Illegal activity that puts their citizens or their well being at risk will not be tolerated. You do the proper paperwork and you get your visas. Cartels put them crying women and children on them front lines to exploit sympathy from Americans. You're better off staying in the U.S. I lived in Canada for years. Now in the States. The Canadian dollar is not nearly as strong as the American dollar. You can also forget about ever being a homeowner in Canada especially the major cities like Toronto you're looking at 1 million dollars for starter. Let's not forget the other hair raising cost of living. Healthcare is free in Canada but if you have a life threatening illness forget it. You can die waiting to get care!

These are east Indians coming from the UK. They had US visas from the UK. What is Canada to do when they are in transit passengers from the UK and given fake or real but seems fake US visas. All international intransit passengers dont go through customs at their stop over country. Its an international fact. The East indians knew that if they boarded their flight to the US they would get sent back to the UK and hence India so they decided to illegally cross our border. Hey buddy, I feel like you get a lot of grief from Canadians about negative issues with Americans so I thought you might like this: Many years ago my friend and I drove into Rochester NY from Lake Erie Ontario. I was in the emergancy room waiting room one time, an american was visiting and his wife had a heart attack she was operated on inside of a day and the husband was trying to pay his bill and he was shocked that his bill was only 2500 dollars and he kept asking if he was going to get a bill in the mail, he would not! But he kept saying that this happened in his hometown and it cost him 60,000 Dollars oh by the way he had not even thought about the money conversion so his bill was 2500 canadian not american.

Birth is not a right to citizenship. That father abandoned his wife and children. They can't be in that much danger if they don't need his protection. Meaning, to most of us , excepting the most left leaning socially progressive pockets and contexts , which even then wouldn’t be viewed that way to us just acceptable lol ?\n\nOur baseline/political middle in Canada is A LOT more left leaning than the baseline normal/political middle in the states. So while people tend to equate your democrats to our liberals or our NDP , and equate your republicans to our conservatives. It’s just not accurate. If you throw our span of parties and American span of parties on the SAME spectrum /polarity line. My parents were both born in the states and my older brother was born there but they moved up here when he was a baby. So nearly all my extended family lives down there and I’m a duelly. And my experiences discussing things with my cousins or visiting absolutely could be described as culture shock at times. The insane things that came out of my own cousins mouths when they hear our friends or partners of various cultures , our not understanding how big a deal and incredibly insulting apparently it is to have assumed someone American was lgbt lol the list goes on.
