What jobs is this guy talking about? Do a job search. There is no manufacturing in Canada. If any are kept in North America will go to Mexico. White people blame China where people are willing to work hard for less and no union formation or complaints. He does not mention the fees visa students pay which is 5 times Canadian Students pay at university or college is used to offset Canadian students so they pay low tuition fees. Knowing the real reason Canada needs visa and immigrants and how much money it generates just by the application fee, immigrants and visa students don't owe Canada nothing and other countries should adopt the same strategy to attract immigrants. Unfortunately the majority of Canadians are English, Scottish, and Irish which are racist blaming Canada's economic and job problems on immigrants. The reason why the gov’t is painting a rosy picture of Canada is because they want to suck people’s money. Either from exoensive international student fees or immigrants who are bled dry from taxes. Canada uses immigrants to clear work and pay taxes. When work dries up they want you gone. Most established immigrants buy additional homes to rent out to new immigrants “property pimping” . That stops new landed immigrants being able to buy property.

I can definitely relate to all of these living in Canada my whole life and working.\n\nCar accident - was recommend by the insurance to visit the emergency room. waited for over 5 hours, 1:30 in the morning I just walked out I had to work the next day.\nWork - construction designer, basically working regularly 6 to 7 days a week about 10 hours a day behind the a computer. Doing my own work & managing our other designers, and it's not slowing down.\nPay - only making like 25 dollars an hour. and I don't just design, I also help manage the construction, list the projects (welding fabrication), order the materials, as wells as doing a lot of paper work. \nBills - I'm living in the cheapest place in the entire city with my fian and sharing a car at the moment, so not to bad. But obviously if we want to buy a house or a condo I'd be looking at well over 2000 dollars a month split between our two incomes.\nGas - prices are high, carbon taxing.\nHomeless people everywhere you look, can't really blame them TBH.\nShootings and police raids right out side my apartment, literally drove through a crime scene one morning. 'Free Healthcare in Canada'. I can't stand those words. Healthcare here is Canada is NOT FREE. We pay incredibly high taxes for that healcare, in most cases the extra taxes you will pay per month are way higher than if you were to buy your own private coverage. Most Canadians are exceptionally slow witted with money though and they can't figure out that once they pay income, gst, pst, sin, fuel, carbon, property taxes and on and on, you lose WELL OVER 50% of your income to the government. If you ask a Canadian what they pay in tax they will state their income tax, their brains can't comprehend the entire scope of being ripped by the government

I agree with most of your points, but as a person who immigrated to Canada 23 years ago, I am still happy that i did it, grateful for the opportunities that Canada offered to me, even though i had to work hard for everything. Few points i want to make for those who consider immigrating:\n1. Uprooting yourself from your country, and starting from the bottom in a foreign country is difficult, and not for everyone. Sometimes, when immigrants go back to visit their home countries, they try to present themselves as successful, and tend to exaggerate the positives. Having realistic expectations is crucial, do a thorough research beforehand, prepare yourself, and you will have better chances to succeed.\n2. I also lived in US for almost 2 years: US is better if you want to do business, or if you are highly specialized (IT, healthcare, etc.), but i wouldn't raise children there, even more so if i were a visible minority. \n3. If you are on top of your career at home, think twice before immigrating, unless you find a suitable position before arrival. If you are in a priviledged position, you have connections, doors are opened easily for you, you might find it difficult to adjust without these things. Many people leave their country because of corruption, they will find that they have more opportunities in Canada. \n4. There are some significant differences between provinces in Canada: Quebec offers low university tuition, Alberta offers the best ratio between average income and average housing costs. (You can buy a new house in Edmonton with about 300k) \n5. Canada might not be for those who want to become milionaires in few years, or for those who want a night life like Las Vegas or Ibiza... but if you are a young couple, motivated and hardworking, who want to raise children in a decent environment, to be able to send them to school without fear, Canada might be a good place.

I do have to say if you're actually worried about the cold as a factor in moving to Canada it is way less than you think. In Southern Ontario it gets to be -40C about 3-4 times a winter, and in the summer it gets to 40C 3-4 times a summer, so we have pretty diverse weather, what you should worry about is how many different kinds of clothes you'll need to buy to actually go through the four seasons.\n\nJust a quick note on Quebéc, even if you did learn french you will most likely be yelled at in french as they are for the most part very protective of french Canada and see themselves as a different country, they don't like other people very much, and the french is different to french french. Cool place to visit but not so much to live in.

I have lived in Toronto for 26years. Canada is a living hell, quarter of your income goes to taxes, and 14% tax on anything you buy. Now that Tyrant Trudeau has destroyed the economy, we are doomed.

Living in Canada is great and lovely. Yes we have high taxes but the money is used for infrastructure, good health etc. about working, living in every Western Country, you have to work to live a good life. The amount of weeks to go for vacation depends on the type of job and the years you have worked in that company and hours you have accumulated. It’s not usually 2 weeks as you stated. Lots of people gets one month, six weeks etc. About the professionalism as stated, if the university of your country is a recognized one, you may be asked to take few courses to top up to Canadian Standard. Some people who come as nurses writes their NCLEX and can work, others take few nursing courses and then write their NCLEX. Canada is a Peaceful country. If you go to school and have your profession and live a balance life, you can buy your house and enjoy life. Canada is a family oriented country.

Regarding Nigerians, they are social animals. If they achieve something, they love for people to see it and offer accolades. In Canada, nobody cares what you have. One of the problem is that the doctors and other medical professionals use the low costs educational systems in Canada to get an education and then promptly leave for the US. One of the top issues is being black. Seen as black and identified as black when you leave a predominantly Black Country. \nWhen I watch the various Realestate shows of white people buying property abroad as second home or just packing up and moving. I listened to your chat. I did not appreciate some of your reasons for why people leave Canada. First of all life is what you make it. There are lots of things to do if you are interested in being active. Canada is a very beautiful country and there are lots of places to visit and enjoy. \nYou need to educate yourself about what people are paid in the US and Canada. The minimum wage is a lot higher in Canada. I suggest that you leave Canada and then you will appreciate what a wonderful country we live in. Go to Trinidad for example and buy groceries ...pay over a thousand dollars a week for food, then tell me that food is too expensive in Canada. (25.00 for a box of cereal)!Go to a hospital there and you will wait for a whole day just to be seen. Yes, we have a shortage of medical doctors and nurses here, but they are trying to fix that. Sure we pay taxes, but if you or someone in your family needs a heart transplant, a knee replacement or whatever, you will get it FREE in the hospital, and while you are in the hospital, your bed will have sheets and pillow cases. Drive your car on the roads in Trinidad and the potholes will ruin your tires, not to mention the frame of the car. Your taxes also maintains parks, roads and bridges for the safety and enjoyment of everyone. The government has no control over the weather, so complaining that it is too cold or rainy is up to mother nature. During the lockdown I am sure you received money from the government to help you, everyone did. Do you think other countries paid their people money to help them get through this crisis?? NO!\nI love Canada, it has been good to me and I never regretted emigrating here 42 years ago. I go traveling to other countries and I see how other people live and I am happy to come home. I don't think higher tax rate is a good point when you compare it to a country like Nigeria. The maximum tax rate you can pay in Nigeria is 24% and it begins from anything from 5.6 million naira per annum. After paying that tax you pay for the school fees of your children, and you pay that 3 times every year, Asides school fees you buy generator and fuel it everyday to get something close to constant power supply. (I don't want to include healthcare because if you have a good HMO they will sort out that perfectly well)\nSome of us still pay security due if you live in an estate. \n\nThe point I am trying to make is that if your tax rate is high let's say to up to 50% and you are sure of the quality of education your children is getting in public schools so you don't have to pay for school fees, You don't have to buy generator and fuel it because there's constant electricity supply and there's good security so you don't have to pay for private security. You might realized that tax rate in Canada is effectively cheaper than here in Nigeria. Because you will still pay for school fees, generator and maintenance and private security and all these have a way of eating deep into your income.

Very interesting views. I don't live in Canada. My views, high taxes are unreasonable but at the same time it ensures that everyone gets a quality of life especially in terms of health care. All Canada not only Vancouver it’s very isolated.\nPeople can’t afford to buy a house because the house marketing is 3 times the price compared to USA. The houses have shitty materials compared to my original country, and you simply can’t built by your own and that’s why every price rises.\nAnother issue you didn’t mention it’s there is no scholarships, it’s incredible expensive to get a proper education like university, and even so, they no offered scholarships. In Mexico almost everyone can reach the opportunity to study to be anything (lawyers, doctors) AND there is why you can get professional services everywhere. Here in Canada the business never have profesional services (like a real Human Resources, who studies for 5 years to be the best influence in a company, or a real engineering taking care of the machines in a plant. Canada only hire the cheap hand to avoid paying and I can understand it, but if more people could study more money moves in the country.\nAnother issue is there is not any public transportation into the cities or provinces, so if you don’t have a car, a driver license (it’s not easy to get one) and pay the super expensive insurance (it’s incredible 10 times more expensive than in Mexico) your can’t move from the place you are. Because of the weather you simply can’t move in a bike.\nPeople live just for pay rent, buy some groceries and buy some pre owned cloths in the thrift store.\nAnother problem it’s many rules to open a small bussines (like selling some food) \nHealth care it’s not exactly free: you need to pay for your prescriptions out of the hospital or if you never been hospitalized. And it’s very expensive to pay for them. Every province has good and bad qualities, except Ontario. I lived in Ontario on and off for about 20 years. Not one good thing comes to mind about this province, not one. I've also lived in Quebec and Alberta, both great. Ontario is like the armpit of Canada, it just stinks, definitely because of the government overreach, extremely high tax robbery on everything you buy, very high cost of living compared to both Quebec and Alberta. Both Alberta and Quebec are wayyyyyy cheaper to live than Ontario, and to be totally fair, the people in Ontario seem to be the most narcissistic i've seen within 3 provinces i've lived in, and with the worst roads. So much car repairs every single year from just driving on the main roads, which are basically just pot holes because they line their pockets with the taxes instead of using the money to fix the roads. The people in gov make so much money, there is none left after their payday to fix the roads or build any parks or things for families. Ontario is actually a bad place to live, especially with other good options available, it's the only province i don't recommend moving to if you want a decent quality of life. You can't even find a doctor here unless you live within or drive for 2 hours to get to the city. It's extremely inconvenient and expensive for no reason other than tax grabs and high fees for every single thing you have to do in life, there's a high fee for that in Ontario.

I'm an Indian, born and brought up in India. In 2019, my parents wanted me to go to Canada through the express entry program. My father had recently sold a property and we had a lumpsum amount of money to show in the bank account for this program. However, when I researched and saw that after a Master's degree in India, and while being paid well according to Indian standards I will have a difficulty finding job there even with 7+ years working in the IT sector. I found out that I might have to work in a restaurant in Canada before I could find a job that would suit my calibre, I was totally under a lot of stress. My family kept pushing, but I finally decided to put the money into buying a property in India. I think it's a better decision. I have maids who come to my place to cook and clean and not the other way around. I will never let my self esteem be hurt because I wanna chase some elusive dream. I think the practical thing is to stay here than go there.\nHowever, I am open to thoughts, correct me if I'm wrong.

I moved my country 6 months ago.I used to live 3 year in canada.weather is very bad.alone life.expensive room and house.capitalism system.relationship just money.Love is very difficult in Canada.sometimes racism.Healthy is very bad.working is very hard need to every week 50 hours working save money and buying house impossible.I didn’t meet long time relationship because people don’t trust each other in Canada …

People leave Canada,no jobs discriminations all levels, harsh 6 months winter, auto - home insurance very high basic foods like milk cheese gas , cheap in USA than Canada , house prices and taxes higher than USA , better medical treatments, you pay insurance and get better service, you will save money to buy insurance , cars , gas, insurance prices lower than Canada In Canada nothing is free you. Pay in taxes and worst service you getting, try to move to South sunny weather choose smaller or medium size city , lots of jobs ,lower prices house and taxes , you will have more savings in your account .

I left canada after living 3 years there. I realised money can't buy happiness ?. Very happy with my decision. Canada is beautiful but u feel lonely there.
