I laughed so hard at the truth you speak. Im a Canadian & I complain about these same things. I hear you sisters. My family are immigrants & they busted there butt working hard and still trying. I agree with this & it shouldnt be this way Canada can be a beautiful place full of culture, peace & friendship. I believe it starts with the people & the gov't reducing taxes.

Salams, my African sisters. I loved your informative video it’s very similar to living in the US, where I’m from. Here it is much worse, there is RACISM, CRIME, ect. You would wait 8 hours in hospital but have to pay thousands yourself. The taxes are less here but you spend so much more in healthcare and at work you get one week of vacation and you’re discouraged to take it. The cost of living is high here as well. I love hearing about Canada you are both so beautiful and blessed.

First off I am black and a U.S. citizen born there also Canadian. so don’t get offended but I think your video is totally crazy. I family came here from Guyana in the 70’s, moms brothers, sisters. Nobody wants to move back To there country. You two young chicks are insane and don’t know what your talking about. I would never want to live in the states as a black person, move away as soon as possible. If Canada is so bad, move back to Africa. No work life balance, are you two serious. Never forget your home. Build at least a one bedroom in your own land back home, so you can return in your old age, if you live to your 70s, 80s or 90s. Look at the number of homeless people abroad, who are old. Don't forget your family back home. All these people talking are young but work very hard now and buy land in your hometown and build a place for yourself, and if possible a place to rent out so you can get income in future. You will never own anything in these oyibo lands. You will always pay very high taxes, even when you are not working or retired, and the house will go into foreclosure. Think my African brothers and sisters. I know things are bad back home, but don't get old and try to live here. A nursing home is like a prison. We are not used to that kind of restricted lifestyle.

Stay at home n improve your own countries. My sister went to UK. Its 12 yrs, even got citizenship but many of your comments you can't see her life supercede orhers at home in a big way. She even started a sidw hustle.

My sister who works as an RN in Los Angeles told me that she has worked alongside Canadian, British, Aussie nurses in hospitals. California has the highest salaries for nurses in the US if not the entire world. At the height of the pandemic it wasn't unheard of for some of them to make $100/hour. Canada has been losing a lot of experienced healthcare workers to the US and this is partly the reason why their system is at a breaking point. It seems to me that Canada even with it's high cost of living and taxes is still attractive to folks coming from developing countries coz a single person who saves an average of $500/month is still better off than living in their home countries. But there've been thousands of cases of folks coming from Europe, Oceania and well-off countries in Asia who surrendered their PR cards at Pearson and other ports of entry.

I have a male friend who migrated to Edmonton Canada a few years ago. He migrated because his wife was a nurse. But didn't stay there long cuz his sister who is a nurse lives in the USA. He move to the USA Now lives in the USA as an US immigrant along with wife and kids. They are staying with his sister on a one big house.
