Well ,there it is than. I live in the Netherlands and as a Dutch I can tell you we pay also a lot of tax compared to our salary, but public facilities, healthcare, roads, buildings and almost everything else is insanely well arranged. But I wonder, I often see that salaries in the USA and Canada easily can be 80K-150K for 'normal' jobs........well in the Netherlands by far most people do not make 50K a year before tax. So if your are complaining in Canada that the taxes are so high, than there is no other explanation that in the basis goods/services/utility bills are much more expensive compared to your salary right? Great video, I really like this country explainers :) One day I will visit Canada for a nice holiday trip or so, we still have I believe some distant relatives from my grannies side but I am not sure, old people :)

If you introduce multicultural immigration, it allows those who come in to adjust at a normal and consistent pace. This allows immigrants to get the education they need, the job they need, and the position they are qualified and skilled for. Forced diversity only breaks the system, and immigrants gets lost in it and are not able to get the necessary education and skill they need. Therefore, you have the lack of diversity in any corporation or business that are operating today.

I've been Canadian my whole life, but went to California for vacation when I was a teen. At least where I'm from in Canada (BC) its just normal to smile and say hi when passing by someone. It just feels nice to do. But in California, I'd be left feeling embarrassed, people looking at me like I'm weird for smiling at strangers

Hi, I am applying for my brother’s visitor visa on the ircc portal but the supporting document list that I am getting on his application is different from the video. I only see 5 document requests that include US non immigrant visa, passport, consent personal information, additional documents. Is this normal, I can see individual upload options for funds or invitation letter, etc.

I am originally from Buffalo, NY and we are literally 5 to 10 minutes away from Ontario CA, 1 hour away from Toronto, CA. It is better to me than American. The streets are clean, it is not segregated and food portions are smaller. The only thing I never understood is when Canadians came to Buffalo how they totally switched gears and started acting router then how they normally at the Canada. They also love to litter up in Buffalo, NY as well but they wouldn't be doing that in Canada. I used to work at the cheesecake factory here in Buffalo New York. And I guess there's not a cheesecake factory Canada. But we used to always get slammed because of how close we were to Canada and how Canadians love cheesecake factory. But they will trash the bathrooms , leave their clothes in the bathrooms. Was very rude to staff. It was crazy. But other than that if I had the money I would move to Canada. I heard a rumor, that taxes are higher up there because your health care system is universal and the colleges are free in Canada. Is that true?

This describes my experience living in japan vs america. My biggest concern is now bringing my daughter back who has never lived in the states. I grew up in Chicago but she only knows SAFE Japan. And these fools making me move to north carolina at a base right next to the hood ?. You never realize how safe other places are until you move out of tne states. Even on their worst day, people running into schools and harming people just isnt normal in other places.

I moved from the U.S. to Canada. Some observations:\n1. It's unbelievably safe in Canada. The most dangerous places in Canada are still very safe compared to much of the U.S.\n2. Outside of DC and New York and I guess Chicago and L.A. in the U.S. and Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver in Canada, you need a car. I disagree that city planning is that much better in Canada.\n3. The maternity leave in Canada is great \n4. The unemployment insurance in Canada is great too\n5. I prefer the Canadian health care system. I never experienced any long wait times. My wife had literal brain surgery and it was free whereas it would've been hundreds of thousands of dollars in the U.S.\n6. Canada is further to the left and is much more woke than the U.S. Everything here is about equity, diversity and inclusion. Even many Canadian conservatives would be moderates in the U.S. but most people know this already.\n7. There is a better work life balance in Canada. I worked a lot more when living in the U.S.\n8. Most Canadians live by the U.S. border  so the weather is not that different than most northern American states. But once you go to northern Canada, it is as cold as they say it is.\n9. The U.S. is better for making money.\n10. It is much more racially segregated in the U.S. \n11. Outside cities like Montreal and Toronto, Canada is very white.\n12. Things are much more spread out in Canada. When I lived in the U.S. driving for 1 hour to go somewhere was a long drive. In Canada, that is normal.\n13. Canada is pretty great if you like the outdoors. There's only 36 million people here and outside the major cities, you find small towns and the wilderness. \n14. Canadians are quite friendly. I know my neighbors in the country. I never knew my neighbors in the U.S.\n15. Canadian politics is boring and I like this. As an American who now lives in Japan, Yes! to all of this. I don't think we realize how draining it is to live in that type of environment and the toll is takes over time. I lived in a studio apartment in Chicago that costed the same as a 2 bedroom here, maybe less. I had to work 2 full time jobs to pay rent and other utilizes. I rarely socialized with my friends or went out to do anything. And I thought that was NORMAL. That's crazy thinking back on it now. Also I'm a lot less paranoid in Japan then I was in the States due to safety reasons.

How can a normal person can migrate to Canada to do job and other stuffs

I lived in almost every province across Canada. Spent over a decade in Halifax and some of the smaller communities. The crime there is above normal. I have lost thousands of dollars in tools multiple times from break and enters and never once had a good investigational outcome. The last time was in Truro where I lost over 20k worth of tools and household goods. I told the investigating officer who did it. The drug dealing individual was not even questioned because he was an informant for the RCMP. Ontario, Nova Scotia, and many other provinces has a false crime rate. Maybe Manitoba and Saskatchewan has a really bad crime rate because the police actually do their job. You did not mention about provincial taxes, that would definitely throw Quebec under the bus. Even though I was born in Ontario, Alberta has my number.

Enjoyed the video and well done, but a little disagreement. I wouldn't advise moving to Québec. Born and raised there, speak french fluently and had a good life, but it`s not the best deal in the country. Taxes are incredibly high and you get very little quality services in exchange. Unless your french is excellent, you basically can' t live a normal life outside Montreal. Everything will happen in french outside Mtl. Infrastructure in Montreal is third world level and management has been corrupt. Hospitals and schools are bad, for the most part. Consumption taxes are high. Most alcool and weed is sold by the province and very expensive. Gas is expensive. So, despite a decent economy and median salaries, your purchasing power is pretty depleted. Many areas and cities are not very vibrant or interesting, but you can also find many lovely cities around the province where a good life can be had.

Please stop making Canada sound like 'the frozen north'. Any educated person knows that this is a 'Seasonal' country. Our summers reach over 100 degrees Fahrenheit at times and we can actually sunburn while sun tanning on these days. We water-ski, swim, boat and sail, golf, gold-pan, hike, bicycle, Motorcycle, camp, picnic, fish, sky-dive, drive, shop, tap for Maple syrup and thoroughly enjoy our Springs and Summers like any other normal person and country. Our Autumn's are glorious as leaves turn crimson and gold, with picking all kinds of fresh fruit, canning jars of produce, carving pumpkins for Hallowe'en, making and tasting wines. Our Winters, loved, with some of the best ski resorts in the world; skating rinks--Our skaters won Gold in the Olympics and some of the best Hockey teams, who have also won Olympic Gold, come from Canada. We still toboggan, go on sleigh rides, ice swim, build snowmen and make the occasional Snow Angel, just for fun. We have learned to deal with winter snows--they're called Snowplows, which are abundant and whose operators are extremely efficient! AND, we have miles and miles and miles of uninhabited land--a rare treasure now-a-days! We are Canadian and we love it!!????

How is our health care system going to handle an extra 500k people coming to Canada every year. We have a serious health care crisis happening here. I don't even have a doctor and I expect I will never have a family doctor ever again. I also expect that the Canadian Government will make sure every Immigrant who comes to Canada will have a family doctor or some special set up for them to make sure they can get their health taken care of. While the rest of us who were born in Canada will be left on the sides for at least 40 years as it's going to take at least 40 years of making sure we train and attract as many new doctors as we can. It is going to take a long time due to the Government of Canada let this issue go without doing anything about the degradation of our health care for the past 20 years. It will soon become normal for multiple people to die every week while waiting in emergency rooms for help due to wait times of 72 hours or more on a regular basis. Its been in the news several times this year already but soon it will be in the news every week.

In India there have been many cases where a sikh man involved in a normal argument had pulled out his so called religious symbol (knife) and fatally injured the other person, so much for a religious symbol. I know I might seem like an asshole but,\nWith so many school shooting going on, i think this type of reaction with somebody carrying a weapon is normal and should be encouraged. There is a rule prohibiting sharp objects and still this young man brought his kirpan, I think formal permission should have been taken by him. Completely valid response and hope the institution and religion have some sort of agreement and sort this out in a mutually beneficial way.
