In short- All agency need is money and all we or students need is a visa to move out of India for better future. But honestly- Education which i got here or which some are getting from colleges in Canada would be just 3/10. Nonsense and no use. None knows who regulates this.

Back home as divorce was taboo, I would have remained married n suffer. He moved on and left me and my child of 5 years old on the street but thanks to Canada, no one judged me, no one talked about me. I did not ask or took any help cause I worked 2 jobs for few years to make ends meet. With time things got better, now my child has graduated and working.\nHe worked n paid for his studies.\nI have not been discriminated or faced racism despite I come from African continent and of colour but my son has as he was young but he learnt from it.\nCanada gave me my freedom, my peace, my happiness and I am no longer discrimated by my own religion, culture and people who thinks if you are lighter you are prettier.\nWomen were and are still considered secondary compared to men.\nHere we are equal.\nHere they love and respect me for who I am and not based on looks.\nBack home my c-section was f up and I am still paying the consequences. After an accident, I had to go through a leg surgery. Back home hospital lost my file and made me wait for years.\nHere I was handled with love and care when the hospital staff learnt that I have no family here. I'm listening to hear how Canada is not a desirable place to live, bc I have thought it would be a better alternative to the USA. But it still sounds better than life in the USA, if even just slightly. ?\nSo far, I hear 30% taxes on income (which is same in the USA).\nYou have free healthcare, however you have to wait in emergency room for 8 hours.....we DON'T have free healthcare....and guess what? $450+ later, we have still waited 4-10 hours in the ER. \nHere in the USA, our cost of living is insanely high compared to a single and even a double income. Our lowest rent is $1,200 to live in low income surroundings. A rent around $1,800/month will bring you to nicer surroundings in an apartment, but still surrounding areas have crime. \nFood costs are so high, Gas is so high. We haven't bought new clothes for ourselves in YEARS, only for our kids. \nDaycare is $485-500 month per child, even before and after school care. \nHealth insurance averages $145/per person per month, not to mention car insurance which is required to drive. \nSegregation has improved here but is ever being integrated back into our society as racism is kept very alive, even as they constantly teach it in the schools. They say it's to teach history but I believe it is just reinforcing racist ways and thinking patterns. \nI don't blame anyone for wanting to return to the comfort of their own people, language and living and country. \nYou may have us with the cold/hot weather in Canada! \nI didn't know about the Canadian passport being so opportunistic for travelling. That's cool ? \nAs far as desired profession, there are many doctors and teachers that come here to the USA from other countries and are now working as a clerk in the dollar stores here in the US. \nAnd forget work life balance here too. Cost of living here causes so much disruption in our family life. Debt is revolving.\nMy fiance's mother comes from a country in West Africa. She longs to return. She calls the USA a place you come to be a work rat. \nBesides free healthcare, it sounds like USA and Canada are similar. \nOne thing I've heard about Canada is that the government cares about kindness, as well as the banks. I hear that people are generally more courteous in Canada than they are here in the US.

I live in the US and it's no Paradise it may be a little better than Canada in some ways financially but the US and Canada basically have the same economic and employment system I would like to move to a country like Rwanda or the Philippines ultimately with my savings stable countries with low cost of living

Healthcare is very expensive for the individual. You pay and pay and pay then when you go to use it. You only have access to 2/3 of proper care.\nCanada has endless entertainment and fun things to do. Depends on what you enjoy doing. If you are into outdoor activities Canada has them all. You would have to travel otherwise to enjoy. Canada has deserts forests lakes oceans and every environment in between. Get out touch grass. I can see why you say it's boring if you do not use the environment around you. But that's your own fault refusing to see it. You get used to the cold. It's better if you dress for it and also go enjoy the outdoors.

Hello ladies! I'm Brazilian and moved to Canada to pursue a better life and... I cannot agree with you more!!! I thought I was insane for telling my canadian husband about all of the things Canada has to improve (literally everything you mentioned in the video), but found myself supported by someone else's experience and perspective (yours). My country also has it flaws, obviously, but at the end of the day I would leave Canada if I could, I just can't leave my husband behind ?‍♀️ But we will figure it out. Yes the racism is very high here. \nMany people come here for a better life but that is very hard to find now days in Canada. Governments here, on every level have let Canadians down . They stopped investing in affordable housing. They haven’t provide enough placement for education of medical staff over decades and now we don’t have enough nurses and doctors. \nWe need better educated voters but of course they don’t put enough money into education. It’s seems people prefer voting for bullies rather than people who actually care about the people and the land that feeds us. Jagmeet Singh is s good leader but would Canadians vote in a person of colour with an agenda to actual help the people and the environment, probably not. It really is sad because Canada did provide a lot more for people in the past. Coming from the UK, I am emphatic to the issues of high cost of living, the struggle to build wealth and overwhelming healthcare system but paying tax for essential services is not the problem, you should be paying into the system to help those that struggle to support themselves due to low wages and you also can benefit from these services. Nigerians can sometimes come with the same mentalities of classism and not wanting to pay into system even when they can afford it and still be very comfortable. If the economic system at the very least supported all Nigerians kids going to school and if this was supported by tax, Nigeria would be in a better place too

I have lived my life here (I’m a senior) - it is difficult for most people that are here to get started in the working world and the fewer connections you have and wealth your family has, the tougher it is - so people coming from elsewhere it would be really tough! Very few connections and very unlikely you have family wealth to lean on. With the weather here you can just ‘bum’ around…if you live in a tent while you are figuring things out or you’ll freeze to death! Like when my grandparents came from Ireland and Scotland, it took them working very hard their whole lives to get a foothold, then things were better for their kids.

Let me clue you in on something! I once was transported to an American hospital on Saturday morning and was discharged by Monday afternoon. The bill was for $42, 000.00 and the ride in the ambulance was $40.00 shy of a $1000.00! If I didn't have an insurance(which I have since lost!!!) I would have been up Schitt Creek. So before you start complaining about an 8 hr wait at the emergency room. You better know how damn good you have it.\n\nSecondly, you lumped at 50 & 60 somethings into a giant Stereotype Bowl. You don't know what the hell you're talking about! No doubt to young and dumb to realize it... Two Thumbs Down!!!

Thank you for that insight about life in Canada.\nActually, I'm ah Ugandan working in Qatar now I'm in my third year. Last week my friend brought up a thought of trying out a job in Canada. It hit me hard that I loved the idea. But the next day, I took a very deep thought about the grass always seeming greener at the other side. I noticed here in Qatar life is not what I had anticipated, why now risk of going to Canada with the same hopes of a better life and pay? I discussed it with my wife back home (Uganda) and told her I would rather stay in Qatar and focus then go back home as my children need me more than they need the money I think I will get. I can imagine that what you are describing will be the case with my wife. But is Nigerian men are here so you don’t have to be spending your money. To be honest, I would prefer my wife not to work, however when I left my job to start a charity - her work became important to support other things so that I could focus on mortgage etc. \nBut now that the difficult times are over in Jesus name. Truth is, Nigeria would have been far better than western countries if only we have responsible leaders. No harsh weather, we basically eat organic foods .

Taxes are meant to run the country's affaires but people are just mean. You love it when you are broke and are able to benefit free services from the government but when you start making some money and are asked to contribute so that the country can keep up with all it's programs you start complaining. Come back to Africa, there is always a trade-off. No good service and less taxes. Just keep in mind that Africa not developing is our choice otherwise the cost of development is that, in a way ( higher taxes and government's direct control over people's affaires). I thank God anyway that you people can complain of better living condition but I would rather get busy working hard in Canada than not finding a decent job in Africa or bare the cold whether than sleeping hungry in Africa. While not staying that you would be in the worst conditions in Africa, I want you appreciate what you have and remember one truth, so many people in Africa would wish to be in your position. Thx for your informative vid.it should be a must see for all would be Canadians \nTook me all of 40 yrs to come to the realization that there are better places to live and work.\nFor me, the biggest turn off is the long winters. Add to that are high taxes and cost of living. The much vaunted health care system is not all that they make it out to be.\nAccurate portrayal of life for aspiring Canadians.

One of the top issues is being black. Seen as black and identified as black when you leave a predominantly Black Country. \nWhen I watch the various Realestate shows of white people buying property abroad as second home or just packing up and moving. I always say it must be nice! Because the reality is they can see them self almost everywhere unless they choose to go into a remote area then that’s the only exception but even then as long they learn the language and respect the culture they are good they are liked welcomed and even seen as fascinating. Not saying they don’t have to struggle but the colour of their skin is the least! \nAmerica is great if your trying to be self made, be your own business owner, and other random ventures you want to dabble in. But to just go there and be a regular teacher, doctor, lawyer, engineer to the low and middle class you’ll end up with the same financial issues and struggles as a result. You gotta now cater to the rich and famous wealthy people but then it’s back to never being home and not enough time for family. \nThe reality is if we could make the money we make here in North America and Uk back home in in the Caribbean and specific countries in Africa it would be a dream come true and that goes for other communist countries too. You truly have to know what makes you happy. Make money but enjoy life it might mean living below your means even though you can can afford a bit better life style. People do it all the time back home (not because they want to I know) but for some reason when you move abroad a one bedroom for your single self is to small, the car under $24k isn’t good enough, you don’t want your kids to share a room so you need a bigger house and the list goes on and on. \nCanada is boring if your not in a major city with money to spend you know why? Because people forget the population of the entire country of Canada is only a 3rd, 4th, 10th of the population of certain countries that immigrants came from and in the case of the US population it’s 100x more than Canada. So of course there’s more opportunities there. \nAnd finally imagine if more countries didn’t need visas to travel? They really would just come to make money and go back home or live bicoastal. Even just the freedom of travel half of the immigrants would of settled elsewhere before the year was up or go back home.

If I was you and still live in Canada, I would leave NOW ASAP OK. I would like for you'll to go back to Africa. Are some where else to a better life. See I am American I can say it would be a better place to live, but all places have its challenges if you can agree. Yes I would visit Canada but to live in Canada noway. I’m not gonna hate on you, but I am gonna say something that is directed towards your comment section and your opinion. I’m sick of Americans and Canadians bitching and saying Europe is better. Europe most of the time sucks, especially Eastern Europe where I originally grew up. Europe happens to be more depressing also than the USA/Canada in my opinion. For me personally moving to Ontario was the best decision ever and I would never, in a hundred years move to Europe. Maybe Italy or the Netherlands are one of the only countries in Europe which life would be as great, as it is here.

#1 reason I would leave and I’m a Canadian is Trudeau. He’s a jerk. Canada was so much better without this asshole. I live in Toronto. Lucky enough to buy a house downtown in 1995 and we have good jobs. So $ isn’t a factor like for other people. But the liberals are ruining this beautiful country.

I'm an Indian, born and brought up in India. In 2019, my parents wanted me to go to Canada through the express entry program. My father had recently sold a property and we had a lumpsum amount of money to show in the bank account for this program. However, when I researched and saw that after a Master's degree in India, and while being paid well according to Indian standards I will have a difficulty finding job there even with 7+ years working in the IT sector. I found out that I might have to work in a restaurant in Canada before I could find a job that would suit my calibre, I was totally under a lot of stress. My family kept pushing, but I finally decided to put the money into buying a property in India. I think it's a better decision. I have maids who come to my place to cook and clean and not the other way around. I will never let my self esteem be hurt because I wanna chase some elusive dream. I think the practical thing is to stay here than go there.\nHowever, I am open to thoughts, correct me if I'm wrong.

Oh man, this all sounds very worrisome...\n\nI've been working together remotely with one of Sony Pictures Imageworks's supervisors and she's been super happy with me and my work. She's switching companies soon since she found an even better opportunity elsewhere and is already making steps getting me on the team. She starts the hiring process in August.\n\nShe said I should fix a holiday visa and that if the company is still happy with me after 12 months they would most likely sponsor my stay. So yeah, everything seemed pretty solid!\n\nBut now that I'm watching this video I'm getting scared that I might be missing something that wouldn't allow me to work there. I'm Canadian and I love both Canada and the US. However, I don't think I would live permanently in the US because I think life is better in Canada overall. We have free healthcare, so no medical bills and no health insurance to deal with. Only a bigger tax bill that doesn't change according to your health situation. We have much less crime, especially gun related crime. We have less poverty and a much better social safety net. It horrifies me how many Americans are homeless even if they previously had a good job, but they had to stop working because of a health condition. We have less political extremism and polarization. Extremist Christians have no control over our politics, so LGBTQ+ rights and women's rights are much safer here than in the US. We don't have cities being burnt down by antifa on one side, and elections and social peace being jeopardized by MAGA extremists on the other. On a more positive note, I love the weather of the US, their fast food joints, their local food, the landscapes, the cheaper gas and all the attractions. I really wish the US could solve all its problems and become a better country. Maybe one day, we could end up similar and open our borders like Europeans do with the Schengen Accord.

With better living standards, people prefer to value personal space more. In a developing country, people needs eachother because they cannot afford to buy everything that they need or want. For example, a poor family would keep their kids with their neighbours or relatives, instead of leaving them at a creche or hiring a babysitter. Besides, developing countries have less occupational and recreational opportunities too. When Africa would become developed, maybe that too will become like Canada.

Hello and thank you for sharing your experience living here in the United States. I was born and raised here. It looks to me as if you live in a north eastern state. I do too, Michigan. And to be fair it can be very boring living here in the winter unless you like being outside in the cold. If you do there are so many fun things to do like skiing, sledding, snow shoeing skating ect.. But in the summer months everyone has fun and socializes where I live in my town. We have a lot of kids . 4 parks all different to enjoy. We have 4 or 5 lakes to enjoy and a large river that runs through our town. People are always walking, running, riding bikes and playing sports all around here everyday all summer. There are also many different clubs and groups you can join with people of like interests all year round. I would say if you are the type who likes a lot of interaction then get out and look around. Not everyone is sitting in the house all day. Also maybe try another neighborhood or state if your not happy where you are. Also if you feel disconnected from your neighbor's then may I suggest having a BBQ and inviting everyone to come and bring a dish to pass to get to know everyone. We have one in our neighborhood every summer and it started with one new neighbor who moved in and wanted to get know everyone. I hope you will receive my suggestions in love as I feel sad that you feel so lonely here and I hope it gets better. You could be the one to change everything for your neighborhood. ?

My father-in-law had his knee-replacement surgery pushed back because more critical needs were placed on the operating room. Healthcare in Canada is a team effort, so treating things like Covid with respect was done much more diligent. Canada had less deaths than places like Florida or Texas. For a guy like me living in India, this is a sort of cultural shock! I never knew this side of US and Canada. I guess that’s something to do with the type of governance. It seems like it’s a baggage of capitalism. Focus on “you”. When India was socialist (still is, to a lesser extent than 90’s, people were more open. If a person was going to city from village, a dozen of villagers would accompany him till he boards the bus. That’s gone. Here, sometimes, the socialising is too much. You’ll be asked about personal questions like why are you not having a kid. When you’ll get married etc etc. Some people feel big cities are better. There is socialising but people mind their own business. I am so very glad that I was born and brought up playing and dancing on streets!!

When I was a little girl growing up in Belize I ONLY wanted to come to America to be with my mother.. she brought me to America when I was 11 years old by the time I was 14 years old I had so much anger I ask my self, why would she bring me to America? I wanted to know why didn't she just leave me in Belize and take care of me from there. I hate it here, who would do this to their children? why would you take me from Paradise and bring me to hell... I know my mother wanted a better life for me but all I saw was loneliness anger family separated the food is not healthy the air is not healthy the education I care nothing for Meaning what I was being taught in school would not prepare me for the real world... with that being said I truly truly appreciate all the sacrifice that my mother did I love and appreciate America but I can't wait to move back home. ?
