In today's rate Canadian finished product (With heavy refine + high transportation cost) in USA is 73USD per barrel as compared to WTI (with lower refine cost + lower transportation cost) is 82 USD. At 2024 exports levels you saved 14.1 Billion dollars per year + all refinery jobs and reason for it is the heavy discount we gave to you on crude oil. Facts tells me you are the free loader. The trouble with political commentators is they try to think like a politician? Trump is not a politician! So think like a businessperson, its the deal and what is the best deal for the USA. Why do those of us on the political left keep allowing those on the political right to dictate the terms of public conversations, even when we have the facts on our side? It is estimated that 1.7% of the world population is biologically intersex. That's roughly the same as the percentage of the world population that is naturally redheaded. Trump's executive order states that the US government only recognizes two biological sexes.  This means that as far as the US government is concerned, biologically intersex people don't exist. This is analogous to having an executive order saying redheads do not exist.  It's nonsense.  So, why aren't biologists from all over the country pointing this out? The percentage of the world population that identifies as transgender is at most 0.6%.  So why are we talking about transgender people when there is a larger group of people that Trump's executive order discriminates against?  Here's why: because folks on the left insist on allowing those on the right to set the terms of almost every debate we have in this country and folks on the right are happy to ignore intersex people (whose existence conclusively establish that their views are false) and those of us on the left stupidly follow their example in doing so. If we are serious about protecting trans people, we need to be smart about this. Let us reframe the public debate to focus on intersex people.  This will make exposing the lunacy of Trump's executive order much easier when engaging a general public that is too ignorant, lazy, and indifferent to educate themselves about trans people. So, let's help out the lazy ignorant masses by adopting a simpler (and more science-based) approach to the debate over whether there are two biological sexes by making the simple, scientifically sound observation that biological sex is bimodal, not a binary.  And not amount of executive orders can ever change that fact.

Here in California I have met many wonderful Indian nationals; however, many assist and support the concept of illegally immigrating to the US. One woman I know, from Delhi, married one guy then divorced him, and then within a year married and divorced another man. Where is the proof that this guys did exceptional work when in service? All we have storytellers narrating wild stories all to stir public sympathy and support. Lets please have facts with evidence. Not wild stories of fictional peole that do not even exist.

There is in fact no actual housing shortage in the USA whatsoever. The problem is that that wealthy individuals have strong incentives to park excess capital in real estate and landlords have strong incentives to maintain asset values through cash flow potential (appraised through $/sq.ft rent revenues). What ends up happening in both cases is that you end up with lots of empty houses sitting collecting dust artificially gaining value due to scarcity, and with rentals, you end up with perpetually inflated rents and vacancy rates that are as high as a landlord can tolerate just to maintain the appearance of value to the lenders. Often these owners will borrow more money and use an apartment that might be 40% vacant as the collateral for the lender and go buy another building and so on. What people don't penalize is the fact that that 40% vacant building with 60% rented out at above fair value gets treated on the balance sheet to the bank as if its 90% rented out from an asset value perspective thereby setting the asset price artificially high. Simple legislation of the tax code can fix this issue and unlock lots of sidelined housing. All we have to do is progressively tax 2nd 3rd 4th ect. homes higher and higher rates that essentially cancel out the asset gains, and do something similar for vacant units in a apartment building. \nIts just at the core a case of the rich hoarding something that has been made artificially rare. On top of all of this, because of how valuable properties have become, there are now many interests that capitalize on the entire process of building new housing that make it ever more expensive. Our taxes are funding numerous regulators that stymie new development, while the developers have to then hire numerous attorneys and planners to pitch a project and litigate it through the cities to get approvals. This can take over 10 years in a major city. All this contributes to the ridiculous costs of building these days.
