The US is a lot more dangerous

There’s really only 3 big cities in Canada, Toronto Montreal and Vancouver. Which are completely different than all of Canada. Toronto is very similar to London England. Whereas Montreal is really similar to Paris. Not so much in architecture, but in terms of people, life, style, slang. Lots of people in Toronto listen to toronto artist and UK artist as well whereas Montreal residents listen to their Montreal artist and French artist from France. Most of the similarities here are actually not like any American cities. America to us seems really “white” there’s not lot of diversity there either. Toronto is so diverse, People from literally everywhere its so nice to see. Our Prime Minister also a lot better looool

I totally agree with you Lloyd Douglas and his column black in Canada. I find it to be swept under the carpet as far as racism is concerned, they smile in front of you but behind you they Stab you in the back .well the Americans is right up front I can work with you but I won’t socialize with you, at least you’re truthful.\n\n I find Canadians to be very two face , Hidden they true feeling and pretend a lot . I have experienced the first time in my life racism was within Canada and it brought me to tears. My dad is a really big and tall Mexican man who is real tan. Me and him were at a store and we were looking around for video games. This lady was following us I swear! She kept asking like, do you need anything? Do you need help with anything? And I didn't really think a lot of it until I realized what darker skin people encounter in stores! That's ridiculous!

I am Living in Ottawa I am white, I lived here my whole life and now I am a minority I deal with different races all the time and I do feel that I am being pushed out of my country different ethnicities treat me with disrespect I was growing up with Canadian culture of respecting everyone around you but I fine with all these different cultures coming in I’m losing my Canadian identity and it is a lot for me to hold strong onto the values as of what the Canadian is and I’m a fourth generation Canadian I see what’s happening to our veterans I visit my grandfather every other week and I see all the different nationalities that are PSW‘s and nurses And I really mean no offence but we have a different level of respect we have a different way of talking and these different nationalities coming in they all click together and some of them they treat the men who built this country with such disrespect please listen to meand I’m really not Trying racially profile this is been happening for the last 15 years and I’m not being silent about it Canada is freedom of speech Canada is being strong enough to speak up I mean this from the bottom of my heart if you’re coming into my country that my grand parents built for me and my children can you please give my children the opportunity that you were now taking from them and I see how they treat our veterans I see how difficult it is for seniors that didn’t have a placement in our homeless I see that all of our government funding is now going to people that are now immigrating into Canada and they’re being able to start up small businesses have four bedroom townhomes in their children to schools and drive them and fancy SUVs can you look around us and see somebody sold Canada

I think subtle racism is actually a very practical type of stereotyping and it didn't just got created out of air, there is a big chunk of that specific race (be it any race according to the stereotype) who actually prove the stereotype to be right. I am from india, living in Canada and if some house owner would prefer a white guy over me to rent their house, I would not blame him since a lot of people don't like the smell of spices that we cook all the time.\n\nAs far as stereotyping is sublet and not rude or hurting, I don't think it's actually so much of racism rather then preference.\n\nI just want to make it clear though that I do support racism, whatever is happening in US and a lot of other countries which is violent is a very horrible thing. Canada has given asylum to lots of people fleeing countries in the midst of civil wars, those who face political persecution where it threatens their life or liberty. Coming from a place that's just really violent is not quite the same, I mean some places in the US are really violent e.g. Chicago, you wouldn't expect Canada to give asylum to US citizens on this basis.

I learned several years ago during a time of unemployment that our EI centers are not for us, they are for immigrants. Not one service was for me, but if I was an immigrant, the entire world opens up including lots of financial support, they will even help you open a business. Yet we are the ones paying into it.

Remember living in Sweden from 1994 to 2001. Met a lot of Bosnian refugees who had the good fortune to make it to Sweden and was talking to them one night about the process of being chosen. They told me not to believe everything you hear about humanitarian ideals involved in the process. No one has the right to judge immigrates. A lot of them leaving the us have given the us there everything they came to the us to work and help contribute to the country . I'm from the UK and when I go into Manchester town centre it really annoys me because we do have a lot of asylum seekers here. I don't see why our country or any other countries should take them. Need a new law in Canada and the US - In order to claim asylum, you need to speak decent English and live in a detention center. You don't get to claim asylum while begging for work in the parking lot of Home Depot in Spanish. No asylum hearings unless living inside the detention center. It's time to send Jose home.

Don't ever ask a white person if there is racism in their town, city, country, why? Because they are not targeted so how would they know? I used to trip on people watching me when I was in stores, however today @ 53 I don't care, all I ever say is if they ever grab me then I will take action, until then I'll shop till I drop! Like we do not allow kids to wear hijabs at school. Religious speeches are not allowed in schools and secular institution. Yet we have a growing number of mosques (all under strict control of our government) \nSo if kept as a religious community, where people help each other overcome the hardships of life, practice it moderately without pushing to anyone it is possible to have adescent muslims, but in no way it should be in contact with Middle Eastern ideologist that treats Western civilization as an enemy. \nYou guys need to separate british muslims and mosques from Middle Eastern warlords influence. It is a slow process, but it is worth it as it is the only adult way to deal with Islamic fundamentalism. Not by hating on your fellows citizens just because they are muslim.

My family and I experience this a lot. My daughter was told she has a bomb in her school bag by children at her school. It hurts, but I handle it meek and peaceful as possible. Ahlaha do not allow us to be negative or bias. Shlama

People think that living in foreign countries us good and relaxing and you enjoy a lot. Well this is not true. I have one of my friends who told me the way he lives and works and studies in Canada. Believe me, you won't like to hear what he told me. He does two part time jobs starting from morning to afternoon at 3 and does another one from 4 to 8 and he barely gets 4 to 5 hours to study. At times when there are exams or tests in the college, he has to skip the work and go to the College but when he skips, he feels from deep inside that for today I don't have even this amount of money and believe me, staying in Canada or any other county is not as easy as eating a plate of rice and on the first time when you go to look for a job, you will get it at McDonald's or any type of restaurants. And the work my friend does is to cut meat at McDonald's in Canada.

A lot of migrants come to the US to work, in any kind of job,,,from cutting the grass to selling fruits and corn in the corners. VS .... a lot of Americans doesn’t want to work in anything ...I wonder why....???

I think the government knew about it a lot earlier but chose to ignore it. Many people even still commit visa fraud to gain entry. Most of these comments are disgusting! He went into Canada to seek asylum because he knew that he wouldn't be granted asylum with Trump in office in the USA. He is doing it the legal way filling out the paperwork to seek asylum. Unless you're Native American, your ancestors were once immigrants! And not all of them came legally either! El Salvador has a lot of political instability, there is a lot of crime and murders constantly happening. He has a good reason to escape that as anyone would. Nice Video but such misleading comments by people. No you cant afford everything with the minimum wage. People here are doing 2 jobs a day. Only skilled resources make good money, but they dont want to put in the same effort in India. I am in Canada too, making good. I think Justin Trudeau wants more taxpayers. That is why he's inviting people to flood Canada. A lot of people comment about how illegal immigration is ok, and blah blah blah. It's simple to say that when you don't feel the direct impact. Change the US as a country to your house. Now let's say the neighbors land Lord is beating the shit outta everyone in that household (play on the violence that's happening in country of orgin). One of then move into your house without letting you know beforehand (illegals). Let's say you don't mind and understand why they did so. Now they work hard around the house and get a job to spend for themselves and send money next door to the family still left behind. . But they don't have to pay for electricity, gas (aka taxes). And since you own a 3 bed room house, things don't change that much. Now 2 more of the neighbors flee because of the asshole land Lord. Now you have to start working slightly harder to pay for your utilities aka taxes. Now you start seeing how more people affect your household. Now even more people flee the next door neighbors and you work even harder for utilities plus your trash is overflowing, have to invest in larger trash cans, fix the doors or ascetic's(pipes, faucets, tubs etc) in your house from over use or mismanagement. Plus you have to start driving their kids to school, you have to get a bigger vehicle (that's a play on the education systems bloating classroom problems)spend more on gas and car maintenance, and since they all don't speak English, to have to spend money on making signs to inform them of the house rules and dangers. You have to invest time out of your schedule to inform them how things work in your house hold because at their house they walked around naked or shit with the door open (play on different societal norms or religions) and may even have to alter your rules as not to impose and anger them. Know the house is over filled and they expect you to buy a bigger house (play on the welfare state)I mean I can go on... But people reading this can get the drift. Point is, yes i understand that people want a better life and all immgration in not necessarily evil, but you can't just let anyone come in because you feel bad. Making change based off emotions of a few is detrimental to the whole.

So, an economic migrant makes a false claim for asylum, wastes a lot of taxpayer money in court costs, and is ticked off because he does not get what he is not entitled to. In the 10 years he spend in the US, he did not learn even basic English. And everyone is supposed to feel sorry for him. Sure, when it is one person, or two, or 10, people have sympathy and want to help. But when it is hundreds of thousands, or millions, people's sympathy button gets worn out.
