Agree with the mass immigration has screwed things up...I am PR turned Canadian citizen now....the things are gone worse in last 2 years....I am not against immigration as I am PR immigrant too...certainly Canada needs skilled workers but the things getting worse by mass immigration masking skilled work immigration...Woking hard contributing to the society and country all it matters...but I can't see all my tax money going to refugees and asylums....this should stop.. immigration needs to be halted and country should go to repair mode else it would a let down for future generations and there is no stop for Canadians migrating to other countries for better life...india thought culture to the world...whats going wrong...respecting culture and people is what we indians are...

Using the housing market as a cash flow business needs to be stopped. Limit everyone to owning only 2 properties at the most and force landlords to sell and find a real job. Couple that with lowering mass immigration then the next generation can finally start becoming home owners instead of perennial renters.

Everyone needs to be mindful when they leave their country to go inhabit another. Be mindful of their customs and leave your racism and hatred in your old country. People are moving to countries on the continent of Africa and Asian countries and they are bringing their old mindset with them. There is no room for that ignorance. Stop trying to change their culture or stop them from doing what they have done for centuries because you don't like it. There are alot of videos popping up complaining about Americans, British and Canadians treating locals poorly. Ultimately, Canada is being taxed to high heaven, with little to no benefit coming back to citizen. We need to cut government, lower taxes on everyone making under 100k. Tax the asset class that is causing the most pain to the country, so homes. Tax the 3.4.5.6th property in a higher progressive manner. I did plenty of studies back in 2017 because I got a job offer in Canada. I paid the money to the immigration lawyer. As a qualified artisan, a qualified artisan with a red seal certificate which Canada introduced in my country, they told me that I need to pay and get my qualifications redone and tested again. That is where I stopped. This is a.money making scheme. Bullshit in red letters. I stopped the process and I am not sorry I did it. Today I am working in Saudi Arabia and it was the best move I could have done.

I'm a Canadian living in the UK and can say two things - 1) if the West would stop bombing/exploiting/waging proxy wars in so many countries and displacing millions of people, this wouldn't be an issue. Stop funding war and pressure your reps to focus public funds back into your community. 2) The exploitative housing market has everything to do with corporate greed. We need to hold government and capitalism to account not immigrants. Blaming humans for wanting to survive is insane.

The wealthy won't stop until they have everything! The US and Canada suffers from this because of EXTREME Capitalism! Your tax money goes to subsides for large corporations and not the people. Canada is really still not that bad of a place to live. I am 38 years old suffer with epilepsy own my own house, I am married. My job is Medicore paying and very hard work. Me and my wife have plenty of disposable income at the end of the month to do what we want with or save it. A lot of people need to learn how to budget money. Stay away from credit cards, personal loans , expensive cars basically useless shit. Yes canada is expensive but there ways around it. Example stop living in expensive cities. Find skill sets around your job if you want extra money trust me there many of them. I make more money just on my hobbies then I do working, guess what tax free. Health care not the best but it is still really not that bad yet. Point being if I can handle Canada you can to trust me I am nobody special. I just live within my means and have hustles on the side with just high school education.

The whole world has changed. Wake up, stop being petty and help do something to improve our country’s issues. You’re not a victim. The first thing Canada needs to do to turn things around is to stop being a lapdog to the US. But it's almost impossible because the people don't have power in their hands anymore, the same as the Americans. The governments are infested with corrupt officials. You're making the right choice.

They started a classic Ponzi Scheme. An immigrant brings in Cash which they have to spend here which gives a boost to the economy ( when you have hundreds of thousands of newcomers coming in). \nBut the fools didn't realize at the beginning that it is a pyramid scheme where you need new people to keep joining and with time you need more and more people to keep that pyramid from falling flat. Now they can't suddenly stop adding more people but the more join (new immigrants), the worse it becomes for everyone in the scheme (Canadian Residents).

Yes there are a lot of issues that needs to be addressed. However, its immature to blame every problem onto immigration. Most of us dont know enough about how things really works. Its not like if we stop immigration then all these problems would be fixed, in fact i think we need this population growth due to low birth rates and lack of labor etc. In my personal experience i see in real life where immigrants are working and contributing in all kinds of fields, such as construction, health care and elderly care … instead of pointing fingers, first educated ourselves on this topic, and then think about how we can make this work, i think that would be more beneficial for everyone.

This should not be legal. That's messed up. They're taking those jobs from people that actually need those jobs. It's not easy for people in South Asian middle class families to get these jobs as their English is not fluent so these jobs go to privileged and educated families. They're getting the airline blacklisted by doing this, reducing jobs for the poor in their home country. This is selfish. As someone from a 3rd world country, this is dangerous. I've heard so many cases of people ending up as slaves because some idiot conned them into doing this. Canada also needs to look into corrupted politicians getting PR cause they bought land there through money laundering schemes in the home country. And these issues have existed even before Trudeau came into power. Stop blaming just 1 person, blame the entire system.

One in four Canadians, and growing are living below the poverty line or homeless in such a traditionally stable and wealthy country, which indicates one thing, the country is broken and has been mismanaged or deliberately ruined by corrupt politicians and political parties. I wished to move to Canada 12 years ago. I am American. I was told that I needed a job and that job NEEDED to be filled. This would allow me to move there. I didn't move. Now with the migration crisis, too many immigrants at one time will overload the system and overpopulate a country. I fear with the climate crisis constantly reshaping our futures, that immigration will be an ongoing problem for the entire world. I believe countries must plan for even more immigration waves due to climate change. The Earth is changing...people will be moving to save their lives, to have a future. As human beings we must adapt to these pressures and changes in our planet. Make it livable, or else face the consequences of seeing millions of people die because you were unwilling to open your borders. There is room, just get rid of the greed. This planet , its peoples,must find ways to live together. Education, to keep the planet healthy, stop overpopulation, keep the air and water clean...stop the greed are the goals we must strive to follow.

I was going to say the immigrant only thing is one thing on TOP of the INSANE pricing... you gotta be a girl working and can't have ANY vice or plan on having ANY kind of life or freedom even though you pay to live there, even working a full time job you will be struggling and majority of these lower rent places were great and usually always been for students no matter what your sex or where you are from to which if you are getting government money to attend school you can only work a certain amount of hours with that funding for school being BARELY enough to get by and forget about it if you have disability you get slightly more but NO landlord wants you if you have disability.... As a Canadian i believe we need to stop this. This is not good for the country as its not good for our taxes. Talking about taxes a lot of people also work under the table (cash only jobs). This wasy they avoid taxes as well. Canada needs to hire undercover agents and make the fines to business owners so high that they would go bankrupt if they employ such people. There are also communities that hire only their people. I do not consider this as intergration to a host nation. A lot of issues that need to be addressed.
