There’s elementary school near my house and one of their student is using my address cause I keep receiving letters for the student. Hasn't Indians already milked the hell out of America, Canada and UK ? Everyone sees Indians as opportunists, Indians don't have loyalty towards anyone but themselves. Well, there are good Indians and scammers Indian. Scammers in India are causing headaches for good Indians. That is the facts. For instance, recently some Indians took a huge loan in UAE and left for Canada with that money. That has put the UAE government in a position to make the visa process more difficult to find out if bad people are getting the visa or not. I would say, the Indian government should introduce a process to thoroughly investigate a person before they apply for a foreign visa, and it should be honest to see some improvement in Indian behavior in the foreign countries. If not, that number is just going to go down. It doesn’t matter how much you scream. Do that for the sake of good Indian people.

First of all why there is craziness to visit abroad. Let western nations come and beg for indian visas. We have everything in our mother land. I worked in India for 6 years and then shifted abroad for a Masters, and now I am pursuing a fully funded PhD. In the UK, what I have observed is that the crop of students arriving from India are by the day lesser inclined towards studies and more in pursuit of the quick buck. Yes, getting a ‘UK based work experience’ is necessary to build the edge to compete against the wider international students post graduation and I have myself worked part-time in profiles which complimented my course in parallel to prioritising studies. However, the increasing trend amongst the masses (I do not want to generalise but yes this is unfortunately true and especially from certain states, the case is magnified: Read Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana) remains getting that student visa to earn quick buck to support themselves financially, chiefly, save up to dole out to so called ‘assignment writers’ which helps them pass the course to further graduate and transfer to a grad visa (again comes at a cost) which allows them 2 years worth of stay with no working hour stipulation post graduation. Thereon, work full time in laborious jobs with again not focussing on applying to full time opportunities in the field of study. Thus, what remains at the end of the day is lost time and opportunity and since I am only talking of people who come here on a Student VISA so primarily, the opportunity cost lost to upskill and further horizons. For the country’s perspective, getting cheap, skilled labour for an unskilled job is obviously an advantage but then there are cases of students not respecting their working hour restrictions, vandalising, bickering loudly, joining hands with the already operating extremist forces which instigate violence and hatred etc. In all, I think the resistance to not becoming bicultural which is a product of serious mental and physical toil and wasting time in frivolity is the main cause of the anti-immigration wave.

I have been able to visit Vietnam, Nigeria(office work) & Bali . Not much compared to others I agree. But the behaviour of Indian Language speaking Tourist in these countries is really really horrible. No matter how much these sold out News Anchor or our leader peddle false narrative that Indians are respected our passport etc etc. Indians are least preferred cause of the attitude issue. Unfortunately, there has to be some criteria by which each country has to make a judgement. I do not understand why she is cribbing here. There is this guy who keeps going on international trips and everyone in India for gaga over the importance he brings to India through those trips. What happened? Not working? Want to know why India ranks 85th? Cause most of them overstay

I am an Indian living in New Zealand, actually one of the biggest reason is the Visa scams Indians do especially from few states which has caused this issue. Also, the kind of people coming into the country, their no sense of comprehension towards the Local laws, culture and traditions.

Why are indian visas being rejected? Well, could it be that various countries learned from canada, the US, and other developed nations about how indians abused the H1B as well as other visa programs by lying and cheating their ways into those countries. Not only that, once indians get into those countries they caused problems for the governments and people of those countries by shtting on their beaches, refusing to return to india when their visas expire, and playing the victim card when those countries take actions to punish indians for violating their laws.

Please fact check your video. Atleast in EU shengen irregular immigration from Indian subcontinent is a social hot potato. Refer Portugal for example- theres an entire parliamentary debate this week on addressing the social havoc irregular subcontinental immigration has caused. The scenario can be true for most Mediterranean southern European countries. Ground reality is most of West is not dependent on India for skilled immigration. Infact most that comes through is low skilled labour. Skilled STE(A)M immigration is a not a high percentage. Until India changes this, the passport strength will not improve.

Palki why not do some due diligence…research before wasting five minutes and 20 seconds on defending a position. The largest number of overstayers in the UK are Indians….not Burkina Fasosns or Cubans. West London has about 15000 students…who speak so poor English that one fails to understand how they understand lessons in English! They work as waiters at the wedding venues and fast food outlets. \nI found them doing the same in Sydney. They are 18 year old….if they attend any college…it is not a university..but community colleges! What higher education are they going to get there that wasn’t available in India. They don’t have funds to eat two meals a day and end up in Temples and Gurudwara everyday. They fill containers for the next meal too. Their public behaviour and lack of etiquette causes resentment in local population.

Indians should just be free to roam the world and we all must be so lucky they grace us with their presence…you are being a little arrogant here. Faced same issue. Got rejected then got approved. Yes many Indians do cause a ruckus and follow questionable methods to enter and stay. So people like us always loose visa fees

I live in Canada. A citizen now, love this country but India is and will always be a home. Canada is facing hard times currently, which is being faced by every country now and then but even the cause root of all these problems Canada is facing right now is coming from somehow from India. The most disruptive and disturbing people are here from India only with no civic sense. They come here and do not value the Canadian culture at all. They do all sort of illegal activities and try to do jugaad in everything, from which we escaped from India. Even on political grounds, the man who somehow messed up everything was under the influence and pressure of the man having Indian roots. I love India without a doubt but we can’t deny the real facts why Indians are being hated everywhere. People in my community here ( whites, First Nations, old Indians) love me and my family because they know how we respect the culture and values and laws of Canada. But there, where people don’t know us personally, we get judgemental eyes because of our colour and we know why, it’s not all of us, but still majority of us have destroyed the image of India and yes Indians deserve to be banned now. We need skills and knowledge and we should class apart from the stupid ones.
