I came to Canada in 1989 with my twin sister. I haven't left Canada ever since I came in. My twin sister left Canada for good in 2023. I did not come to Canada because I needed more money. I came to Canada because I did not have a country. Canada became my home country but the crazy thing is I don't recognize the Canada I knew over the years. Many people came to Canada to take advantage of this wonderful nation. My beloved city of Toronto turned into a third world country. I'm now in Alberta where I work hard and pay my taxes. My Canada is a paradise on earth. My Canada deserves people who loves it. I had my hardship in my early years and that was what I had to go through. When new immigrants try to cut corners, I always remind them to earn their muthafuka turn. The liberal party screwed up Canada. Chances are one day I will end up leaving Canada for good but before that I'm keeping my Canada great.

Another thing to consider is to not argue with the police. In a traffic stop, you will usually do much better if you are polite, compliant and apologetic. They can breathalize you any time they want- no probable cause required! Yes, you have rights, and if your rights are trampled on, argue it in court, not on the roadside. If you’re drunk, and they tell you to go home- do it. Girls, I came here as an international student, I make about 150K year, I pay aournd 45% of my salary in taxes and 2500 in rent, that is unfair. My job comes from the U.S. and now I have to face impossible PR process. Canada needs reforms for sure, but think twice, this is not the only country a highly skilled immigrant can go, the world is big, stop blaming international students for everything, we came here following the rules, and we did not write those rules. To be honest, I am seriously thinking about moving somewhere else including home. I have a nice house, pool and warm weather back home.

These Indians need to face the fact that Canada doesn't want them, neither do our American neighbors. There is no point in running to the U.S. as they will capture and deport \nthese people. There are too many fake international students...they come for work permit. Legitimate IS are the ones studying in universities to get a degree and go home once they are finished.

Hello Anna and Anastasia your channel is truly a hidden gem full of useful information and insight. I am an international student myself and I agree with all your points in the video, Canada used immigration to fix a deeper problem and that is its difficulty to incentivize the economy by having a heavily regulated environment, high taxes and low productivity. It will definitely alleviate some of the pressure on the system but, the real cause is still there. The first sector that is going to be affected will be the education as colleges and universities became over reliant with the revenue coming from Int. Students (which is not particularly small) and institution will need to adapt. When I first came here I fell in love with the country and I really feel fortunate to enjoy this beautiful place and doing everything to assimilate and integrate myself into the culture. I think here you can have a sense of hope of things improving in the future (something that is not the case in my home country) but if they do not fix the underlying problem it does not matter how much immigration they reduce, Canadians will not see a significant improvement. Keep the awesome work!!!

yes homelessness and \\all the handouts are bad at least where i live and work as a security Guard in the lowermnainland of British columbia I barely make it and the homeless people seem to have more rights and in some cases have moer money then I do working as security . as for the racism I cant speak of that living on the west coast I have had the rascist card thrown at me many times for just eplaing to a person tha tthey are on prvate property and need to leave or the biggest time was I was working at a UBC football game and a black peron was on a part of the football feild where knowone should be with out p[roper ID so I walked over and this person started to freak out calling me a racist becsaue I asked for his ID he then shows me his superbowl ring telling me that gives him pecial priliedges whiuc hit doesnt I was alway calm speaking with him and plite as he was spitting at me trying to cause more attetnion then needed . at the end of the game his friend who also had a ring and him were together as he was pointing at me calling me a racist but his friend said the only racist thign he seen was him calling me a racist .
