Do you mean temporary? If not, I strongly recommend that you learn English ! Temporary does not mean forever ! Finish the school and go back home where you come from!

I don’t consider myself a patriot or a nationalist but, IMO, if you’d rather leave than stay and fight for something better, then don’t let the door hit you on the way out. It kind of reminds me of those parents who obsess about getting their kids into the “good” school. How do you think that school got to be good? Why don’t you go to whatever school is nearby and try to make that one of the good schools instead.

Highly skilled workers are indeed needed, but really not welcomed as members of the society. Housing is insane, and the so much touted education is in shambles, with teacher shortages in schools and Kitas and a mindset still firmly placed in the 1960s.\n\nIt also surprises me that the medical system is so touted. After half a decade in this country, every single foreigner I've talked to has been mistreated, ignored or received the worst kind of service from the part of general doctors and hospitals alike. It is a disgrace.

My dad came to this country in the 80s; I was born here. I had a lovely childhood in the 90s and 2000s. My parents bought a house in suburban Toronto with just a high school education. They sent us to public school, which was perfectly good. I was looking forward to buying my own house, etc. I loved this country. Even back then, people were reticent about being too nationalistic. But I was PROUD to be Canadian even though my parents were not born here. I thought of myself as Canadian, I sang O Canada proudly, I celebrated Remembrance Day in a solemn way even as a child, and I would have died for the country if we had been at war. \n\nWell, not anymore. I don't recognize this country after years of Trudeau. I can never buy a house here, the cost of groceries is burdening me, and the younger people in my family can't even find part time jobs as students. People are increasingly rude, crime has me on edge, it's congested. Freedom of speech, which was taken for granted when I was very young, is dwindling away. Churches have been burnt, Trudeau has incited hatred against people who disagree with him. I'm actually moving to the USA to work there, so that will ease a lot of these issues. (I know it's not perfect down there, but having spent a lot of time there, I can see many things are better). But I'm sad. I'm sad for my family that still lives here. I'm sad that the country I once loved is gone.

Student visa is a temporary visa ..... it not the canadian citizen problem that indian student can not understand their visa condition. There is a reason why there is english requirement to be accepted into school in canada.. everything is in your visa condition read it and understand it!!!

Never mind they get spots in our schools at the expense of young Canadians who have to wait for seats in colleges and Uni’s.And since when do foreign students have a right to stay where they studied . Most Canadians I know who studied abroad were to come back home after graduation. I understand they may have been lied to but Canadian citizens are already having a hard time and these students are taking away jobs from our young Canadians ! Coffee shops have up to 80 percent of their employees are foreign while Canadians are homeless,jobless and houseless ! Why should Canada welcome foreign graduates when no other country in the world would settle for that ! It is just insulting and disgusting ! Go home and make it better for you at your home ! Can’t recount the stories I heard of Canadian students put on wait lists cause the foreign students had priority ! Just disgusting !

Sorry but Germany is a completely unfriendly country for immigrants. They do not even allow you to use your own driving licence and require you to apply for a new one like you are 17 years old. They don't trust you! \n\nYou then start your driving license process but they cannot arrange an exam date for you, because they lack examiners. They allow you to apply to a driving school in your own neighborhood only and you cannot apply to another one even in the next neighborhood a few kilometers away from your home. So if you live in the city center you are dead, you cannot find an empty exam slot. This is my second year in Germany, the officers and my driving schools have made 2 mistakes and 1 cancellation throughout my process and I could not have my practical exam yet after 10 months of endeavour. If I fail I should wait for another 3 months to find a new exam date! This is insane. \n\nSorry but how dare you can steal my so precious time? If you want skilled workers you should treat them as skilled workers not as 17 years old teens.

Sorry Indians are doing what they do in India! They bring their corruption and pollution mentality! They want to be rich overnight and live it up then show it off to each other, see how rich, successful & toxic I am so rest crowd follow the foot steps! Now there are many great Indians and do have ethics & moral. You do not feel unease around them.i just chose my friends carefully! Again immigration brings all different types of people! Many worked hard to have what thru have and are humble but this new generation is really materialistic and entitled! The hole purpose of a study visa is so complete your studies after your studies are finished you go back home . I'm a white Canadian Nurse. This fellow spoke very well. I've always been pro immigration to mesh cultures and increase the population of this huge Country. However, in the past few years I'm made aware of the increasing violent gangs, theft, plagiarism, dishonesty, Indians getting managerial positions then only hiring Indians, cheating in schools, fabricated names.\nI have a rental and there was a time I chose what I thought a wonderful young Indian couple over 25 others looking. At 21 yrs old, she boasted how she and her Indian friends could trick the cash register at The Bay where she worked giving themselves 80% off everything. He worked for cash for another Indian. They were shameless. Who goes to a foreign Country and steals.

Indians come here as international students but mostly of them are not attending their school, instead they are working different establishments .

Now anyone with a pre- degree pass and without any skill or special\nqualification can freely go aboard under the cover of higher education but with the sole aim of immi -\ngration or getting a PR. For this, they have to raise bank loans at big interests and mortgaging their dwelling houses,. To get a student visa and to pay the school fees etc the money the agents are \nin the range of Rs 50 - 60 lakhs. The increase in the student immigrants population in the host countries was so unprecedented and so enormous that they heavily impacted on their economy and made considerable strain in the housing, supply and employment sectors and it in turn has developed local resentment and raised anger and\nanimosity against the immigrants. This calls for urgent review by the governments on the present policy of unrestricted export of student community abroad.

The difference in the purchasing power of the currencies is brutal on working Canadians who pay very high taxes, but sweet for those going 'back home' on a very regular basis. Furthermore, new business start-ups are lower because the value of the currencies is so wide. Also, schools are 'used' as a gateway for permanently residency, another consequence of dysfunctional immigration policies. There has been no 'diversification' in immigration. It's not just unemployment but 'under' employment is a mega problem in Canada.

I grew up in Canada and I'm white. When I went to high school everyone who I met grew up in the country so it was very easy to socialize and make friends. When I went to college it was a very big culture shock because everyone traveled to Canada from another country mostly India, Korea, China and the Philippines. Most indians/immigrants ive interacted with are insanely smart people. In high school all the native Canadians were a lot less intelligent vaping is a huge issue but everyone was highly social so I was able to fit in easily even though im a pretty unlikeable person. The problem is that in college I couldn't really make any friends because of the cultural differences and since native Canadians are very rare where I was studying the culture was also kinda different. So it kinda makes me feel like im an alien in my own country. But honestly everyone kept to them selves a lot more. There are a bunch of other factors like people hyper focusing on studying but I wish people would just socialize more instead of just doing their own thing.\n\nI still remember back in high school when people used to know about everything that happened if there was something that happened everyone would know about it because everyone would talk about it there were group chats with tons of people in it where people would organize things or share memes. I think people should take inspiration from this and probobly do this more often but now its honestly just very lonely.

Most large Canadian cities look like upscale Indian cities. The number of new arrivals is absolutely mind boggling. You can walk around a neighborhood for half an hour and not hear a word of English. It’s ridiculous. Canadians have been screwed over, they can’t afford rent or food, schools are bursting at the seems, 8hour waits at emergency rooms all so Tim Hortons, McDonald’s and other massive corporations could have an endless and cheap stream of cheap disposable labour. I'm puzzled by the constant negativity and sense of entitlement I've encountered. As an immigrant from the EU, I've lived in Germany for six years and have only experienced racism once, at a club entrance. Ironically, I faced more racism in my own country during elementary school. In contrast, I've never encountered any discrimination in my job, studies, or social interactions here. Germans from various backgrounds, including dorms, sports teams, and university, have welcomed me to their gatherings. I'm a person of color and speak imperfect German, yet I've been treated with kindness and respect.\n\nGermany has offered me free education and incredible opportunities in industry and research. While I'm not wealthy, my quality of life is significantly better than it was in my home country, with plenty of room for improvement. I'm grateful for these opportunities and willing to contribute to the community. My advice is simple: be thankful for what you have, try your best, and if you're not a good fit, consider moving elsewhere and express your gratitude. It's that straightforward.

What is shown in the videobis people who immigrated here went to school and they have a job and are contributing to our country, what isn't being shown here is the people who aren't working, they simply live off the welfare system, or they are stealing or committing some other kind of crime. “Limit” to what 2 million? How about remove 90%. High school kids can’t even find work let alone adults. I know people who have applied to Tim hortons or McDonald’s but can’t get hired because of the foreign workers and the subsidies companies get from our government for bringing them in

At the end of the day the main issue is the Government used Indian students to supplement the economy at the expense of the Canadian citizens. Now in 2024 the Trudeau liberals still refuse to pause it because of the economic impact it will have on their corporate friends and the schools. They also subsidize immigrant students which incentivises businesses to only hire Indian students. Canadians can't find affordable housing or a minimum wage job and Indians are paying the price. I feel bad saying it because I'm not a racist but I don't want anymore Indians, or any immigrants at all, here unless they fill a vital need in the economy. We simply no longer have the housing or jobs and it's as simple as that. Enough is enough.

Schools are flooded with them and there's no cap at professional program levels where our own students get waitlisted, rejected and displaced.

The thing is, if they came here to “study” and actually got a degree in something that could benefit Canada, they would be offered the opportunity to stay. \nHow are all there “students” leaving these schools with nothing to offer, other than working at convenience stores and cabs?\nThe entire point of post secondary is to gain knowledge and skills for future employment. \nThey we’re obviously never interested in gaining an actual education, only a past track to permanent residence. \nThere are immigration “consultants” that advertise on TikTok in Punjabi, out of Brampton, that apply on their behalf to take advantage of loopholes on our system that turn visitor visas into work visas. About the racism thing. I understand indians are allowed to move here. But me being a white male living in brampton ontario in canada. I feel like im in india. 55 ft statue of some indian god in a public park. Teaching me indian culture in school? Literally not being able to understand what youre saying while starring like a weirdo. Many issues mentioned apply to anybody not just foreigners, anybody in germany hates it equally. There are many topics from immigration, language, housing, healthcare, schooling, etc. that are ill-managed in my opinion and that creates a lot of tension in society. Todays politicians are mostly a highly overpaid joke, disconnected from reality.
