I landed as PR in Canada and I’m Canadian Citizen now….. being IT professional it wasn’t that difficult to settle however what you mentioned for students is somewhat true! There is an another side of it as well that Student visa was somewhat abused as an entryway to canada when skilled PR was getting stringent. \nImmigration happened at a rapid speed however infra for healthcare is same thus the wait tine has increased… not enough Doctors……also not enough job opportunities for those students, Inflation and high interest rates are adversely affecting new Immigrants.

Canada has always been a peaceful, prosperous, progressive and a good governance oriented nation. In the recent decade, too much of woke, radical left wing ideology has penetrated into policy and public institutions that have led to Canada’s current day crisis. \n\n2. This country has always welcomed talented immigrants who are willing to integrate with the Canadian society, embrace its values, traditions and culture. However, in the last 10 years, too many refugees and reckless mass immigration has put an incredible pressure on the economy, infrastructure and social cohesion. \n\n3. The political leadership has allowed reckless mass immigration without caring to boost the economy/infrastructure to handle the volume and hence the sorry state of affairs. \n\n4. Too many immigration consultants of Indian origin engage in outright VISA frauds (yes, this is unfortunately true) leading to ppl coming in as a tourist and then seeking asylum or converting their visa into a student visa (55 year olds from Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat coming here as students).\n\n5. A significant chunk of people coming from India (esp. Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat) seeking a permanent residency in Canada are using student visas as a back door to claim eligibility for PR/citizenship. This is downright abusive and was never intended to be used like this. This has fueled a fake college diploma industry into Canada where “2-room” colleges have sprung up along the highways giving out fake diplomas and certifications for easy cash. Thus, the students, the immigration consultants and the fake diploma issuing colleges are all getting benefited from this scam. The internet is filled with such sting operations by Canadian officials exposing Indian students/immigration consultants. Do check them out. \n\n6. Unlike the past, the recent batch of immigrants in the last 3 years or so, make no effort at all to integrate into Canadian society and abuse the system, create law and order problem, drive recklessly, talk loudly in public spaces, litter everywhere, cross railway tracks like they do in India, steal liquor from stores, shamelessly collect food from food banks (as a way to save on groceries) that are meant for the elderly, disabled or those that are in utter poverty. It wasn’t like this ever before. In cities like Mississauga, Brampton and Surrey, the Khalistan movement + gangs involved in theft, drugs and human trafficking are from Punjab/Haryana and they have mushroomed here like crazy. A good 30-40% criminals in prison or on bail in these cities are of India ethnicity. \n\nIt is behaviours like these by Indians in the recent few years that has thoroughly infuriated native Canadians and now they hate the rest of us that have lived here peacefully and have been good citizens. Get rid of those with no skills on temporary (student) and other visas. They are blatantly abusing loopholes in the system. They dont have a problem living 15 people in a house. This is not the standard my father and other immigrants who came here legally to fill voids that actually here. Now, young people and students who are Canadian citizens cant find entry level work because the business owners would rather hire someone who would kill themselves to work for peanuts.

I'm a US citizen living in Canada to be with my Canadian citizen husband until we can move to the states, there is no fast track or easy way to get a job while I stay here yet up until recently there were special provisions in the law to allow more immigrants from India faster, why? And if my husband were a permanent resident or here on a work permit, he could easily apply for me to work here, but since he's a citizen he can't? It doesn't make any sense and I can't wait to go back to my country where the people are friendly, wages are double, and the economy isn't collapsing.

As a native Jamaican, I can attest to the Canadian natives, that's how our government treats us also, they treat us as foreigners and strangers while providing all the best treatments to the actual foreigners.. A Jamaican has to wait for hours in a line even in the hot sun or the rain, while a foreigner would be attended to immediately as they arrive, and the list goes on, so I can sympathize with the native Canadians.. I'm not saying that they should not be treated with kindness and respect, but what about the born citizens?? Have they totally forgotten that the nation is actually the people, and the power that they possess was given to them by the people?? But on the other hand, some Canadians shouldn't be complaining, because they had it in their grasp, but didn't appreciate it, so it departed, and unfortunately, it seems it has landed in the hands of the majority of immigrants that don't appreciate it either.. But I'm sure there are some that really appreciate the opportunity.. I myself would, because I don't have it here in Jamaica.. A lot of my friends are immigrants and are way more mad about the mass immigration than even most Canadians are. My one good friend from Delhi is always going off how most Punjabs just act so entitled all the time especially here in Canada like they own the place and have no respect for all the citizens that were originally living here.

I've been living in Canada for the last 10 years ( came here as an international student), and now applying for my permanent residency. Went through high school, post secondary, and now working a full-time job in my field of study. I would say it's long overdue for Canada to scale down on its immigration policies (yes, I've had this thought even when I was a student so anyone who thinks I switched teams can shut up). There are simply not enough houses to accommodate Canadian, let alone immigrants. A lot of them only work minimum wage jobs which neither help the country with shortages in other fields nor their careers in the long term, and overall it gives immigrants a bad rap in the eyes of Canadian citizen. The recent changes in immigration imo is a good first step in the right direction.\n\nEdit: Also I'd like to add that if you're leaving your own home country to join another for a better life, it's your responsibility to adapt and contribute to their society, not the other way around. If you can't do that, stay in your home country.

I'm a Canadian Citizen. Born and raised here. Went to school here from Kindergarten to College. Learnt French, Canadian history, etc...and today I have struggled getting a job. I have been unemployed for 4 months and my Government assistance E.I. still has not kicked in. I have not heard back from Service Canada after numerous attempts. It makes me wonder what ruins Canada is in due to the politicians.

I am an immigrant as well. Came to Canada in 2005 as permanent resident and little became citizen. However, what is happening is mind blowing. They are replacing us. I got layoff from my job last year and was replaced by an Indian. The funny thing is that, the big bosses of this company are Indians, so all they do is hire more Indians of their kinds while laying off the Canadian citizens. This is not fair. my issue with immigrants is that they take up seats in our universitys and colleges,,how many canadians are not accepted that would be staying here bc they are citizens,,,a healthcare shortage,,,how many of those students go back home with our education.

Idk if you mention this but in NS the gov pays 75% of immigrant wages meaning employers prefer hiring immigrants over citizens. I lost my family doctor 2 years ago and haven’t gotten a new one. My kids did as well. And walk in clinics are literally lined up outside the door every day. \nAnd I’ll add the culture of India is a lot different than Canadian culture especially when it comes to customer service.. even getting our doubles doubles has been effected. \nAnd I’ll mention the immigrants often have no kids or family with them.. they live all in 1 place even 8 people in a 1 bedroom and they will have multiple jobs. Banks in India will lend them money to come to Canada, they buy their IELTS results. 99.9% of all the students I dealt with who got caught cheating on their exams were from India.\n\n- The people we are receiving in Canada are members of a separatist movement. You need to know that people don't study medicine in North America is because many high pay doctor positions are limited to citizens only. Can someone explain why young Canadian citizens are on unemployment insurance and can’t find jobs. My peers who’ve lived in the same city their whole life are getting jobs stolen by immigrants. How are we supposed to start a career. We’re being forced into working physically demanding jobs despite having a full Canadian education. The government is forcing girls into healthcare and men into construction.

You need to make your own country a better place to live and stop sh*tting all over Canada trying to make it your little India. We don’t come to your country to make it more Americanized. As a Canadian that's left Canada I find this video a bit funny. After the 2008 crash the government placed all it's bets on immigrants and life for citizens became unbearable, causing huge numbers of Canadian millennial's and now zoomers to flee the country. Now the massive increase of immigrants has put so much strain on Canada's infrastructure that even the immigrants want to leave. I wonder how Canada will solve this issue, they can't keep their own citizens and now they can't keep immigrants.

They should be sent home there are already too many Indians in Canada, they are taking all the jobs. Every fastf food, malls, offices, security etc.. That nothing left to Canadian citizens to get hired anymore!

The problem with most Canadians is that they are parroting the leftist rhetoric. I have chatted with many people that I met in the nearby park when my dog was still alive, but every time I tried to feel people out about their stance on immigration, they immediately began to regurgitate the brainwashed bullshit that the woke left had fed them. I only know a few people who have similar ideas, but it's nowhere near enough to start a movement. I'm an Aussie citizen as well. Honestly it’s not that I’m completely opposed to immigration in the proper amounts but currently the were kinda eating a** in the housing department, so it feels as though we’re giving space for something that doesn’t completely exist yet, which is also drowning out legitimate citizens from being able to have affordable housing, therefore causing some sort of aggression towards people trying to get away from they own crap, but everyone needs housing and likes it affordable so it’s understandable. Maybe we could handle this sort of intake in like 30-50 years easily, but we’re filling a bucket that has so much going into it, I’m not knowledgeable on Canadian happenings to know all the intricacies. Though a layman could tell Justin Trudeau is a large contributor to this line of politically charged thinking that doesn’t really think about long term consequences.

Khalistanis are not Indians. They are Canadian citizens. So isn't their demand to break India a declaration of war by Canada against India? Canada is actively trying to damage India's integrity. Some of the places for rent you showed in this video are in my neighbourhood. My neighbourhood has been predominantly Indian since I first moved here 20 years ago, the the demographic shift isn't as noticeable other than the fact that its gone from mostly Indian Canadian families who are mostly Canadian citizens to now a lot of young Indian students who just arrived in the past few years. But I can imagine how rapid the demographic transformation might seem to someone who lived in a predominantly non-Indian neighbourhood that's now being flooded with Indians. The thing that confuses me is why India specifically has such a huge increase in immigrants since 2020 while before China and the Philippines had just as many if not more immigrants, but China and the Philippines stagnated while India just continues to skyrocket. Funny enough the people I hear who are most against this mass migration are Indians themselves who were either born here or have been living here a lot longer.

Yeah I being Indian I have faced lot of problems from Indian land lord , they are pain. Again all of them are not same , as India is a wide nation with different sub culture in there. Now I have a stable life here , but I can’t live here as Canadian gov is funding terrorist group that will harm India and India had given data to Canada since 1980 no major actions has been taken so this shows Canada is just helpless in its self and very weak and the terrorist groups have political party like NDP so you can assume government is not strong ,neither holds strong diplomacy so me being Indian proud nationalist I loved Canada but I can’t live anymore in a country that has blood in its hands and local Canadians have no idea but truth is all their tax money bit of that portion goes to terrorism funding. So a good nation with good people but with stupid government for sure who is encouraging terrorism that hurt India’s national interests . Overall good journey here but can’t stay here,will leave this country in 6days.
