If India is so great, why do Indians want to migrate?

I was in the Missouri when i got sick. I drove home and was diagnosed with a brainstem tumour. 10 hr surgery, 4 surgerical teams, icu, wks hospitalization. Months of rehab and homecare. The school even arranged a cab to take my 5 yr old to school. I have seen bills for pts who didn't make it home and had to have surgery in the US before being repatriated back to the icu i worked. It was an eye opener to see what they were charged for a box of kleenex, a catheter, an iv bag etc. I would have lost everything if i had to have surgery in the US. \nMy sister is currently in hosp in the US, and she is getting good care. I drove down last time she was in, and i was impressed by the lovely large CCU bay, but, hey patients are paying for it. She had a fancy postop CABG pillow to splint her chest when she had to coughed. It had a cute surgical heart on it. I am sure it cost $$. In Canada, we give our pts a regular pillow, some iv morphine and tlc when it hurts when they cough, no fancy cartoon pillow, but no bill either lol. She's a senior on medicaid so she's not going into massive debt or dying in her home to avoid going to the hospital.\n \nI have been travelling to the states since 1976 as a young child. I love the states, I have a lot of family there. My dad lived there until his death. My great grandma immigrated and died in Montana. I have never had a negative experience there in over 49 yrs, other than the old lady backed into my parked suv in the hobby lobby lol parking lot l\n\nA big plus in Canada, is paid Maternity/ paternity leaves and also caregiver leave. Your mom has a stroke or child has cancer you can take time off work to care for them with partial pay and not worry about losing your job

I having a hard time understanding the migration north for a free ride. The jobs here are short and people are just starting to get back to work from the pandemic. Not enough work here to support millions of more people. If the migrate would have stayed in there country and got rid of the corruption and made their country great they wouldn't have left. Facts, Indian F1 students are submit fake documents like security deposits in bank (scam), the reason of study (fake), job experience after education (fake), interview process (fake) during CPT, OPT even on H1. I took nearly 40 interviews in 2024 out of which 28 are with Indian background, 24-25 of them are trying to cheat the process in different ways. 2-3 are genuine but they lack skill. Now the people like Palki are trying to lecture about India in Oxford? ?????

In oxford you were telling about the strength of Indian passport and talking about how great leader modi was that he single handedly changed the value of Indian passport.

India is not a superpower. GDP does not make power or greatness. Indians need to improve India at the grassroots level - cleanliness, industriousness, real development at the grassroots level, not growth of stock market. Actually India has not developed at all. People are happy to convert to Christianity and Islam and accept freebies. Ex-Hindus are happy to put down other Hindus without any loyalty to their ancestry.

I support china in this case. They built west on their land. So, no need to travel outside. Rather, west now comes to China. India needs to do the same. We got talent but we are after money. Palki won't tell you why so many Indian wanted to go abroad and live in other countries. Indian media or 90% Indian journalists are all the same. it's great that people are pointing out about visas but why no data analysis about country basic problems? if we sort those out, we would be rather thinking whose visa we need to grant and whom to reject?\n1. why no question on regulations on digitalization? In MNC there are SLA for server down, 404 not found etc. while it's been years we moved to digitalization but yet no proper regulations.\n2. lets be honest unemployment and inflation is beyond our control.\n3. No termination rule in govt. job despite there are n number of jobless personnel available to fill the sacked officer/employee immediately, the service quality the responsibility towards job is 0.\n4. corporate retires people at 65 because at this age their stamina and decision making capabilities are no sound, fair enough but then 65 + aged people are making decisions about government and countries, how is that even logical? Either corporate is lying or we need to set upper age bar in politics too.\nturn country into self sustaining community asap that's future and survival strategy.
