It's funny to me hearing a bunch of immigrants complain about a country they travelled to.\nCountries go bad because of lazy and spiteful people only out for themselves.\nTime for some self reflection.

I am sickened by all the negative comments and it further demonstrates exactly how they must feel in Canada, I would welcome them in a heart beat to live next door but we have a very small Muslim community and they would not feel comfortable here either. Best wishes and safe travels.

Perhaps I will not name the most popular destination for relocation, but I suggest coming to Russia, there are many positive reasons for this (I take Moscow as an example):\n1) Affordable housing with reasonable prices. The price for a one-room apartment in Moscow, for an apartment with a good renovation will cost you about $500 Plus utility bills with the Internet will be 50%. (The most surprising thing for foreigners is that in winter you can wear a T-shirt and shorts in apartments, and sometimes it will be hot), my cost of heating in a three-room apartment is $35 per month for 95 sq.m.\nDo you want a house? I worked in the mines of Northern Ontario have had two wives and six children payed high child support and spousal support. But just before I was ready to retire I had no more responsibilities and I got to keep my pension. I brought a house twenty years ago in Newfoundland where I am from and put it in my Mother's name. I am now retired with a payed for home which I heat with a wood cook stove, electric base boards but never need them and have solar panels and wind turbines but I am still hooked up to the grid but my bill is 40 dollars.I don't have internet or Netflix only a cell phone with a 100 gigabytes download.I run my tv off solar power that charges golf cart batteries also have a generator to charge the battery bank .I download off of YouTube and other places to a 1 terabyte hard drive that run thru my laptop and have that backuped . I have a ham radio. 250 gallon water tank just in case the village I live in the water goes out. I have a water flush toilet and a compost toilet. My property has apple trees and very productive raised beds to grow food, I also fish and hunt small game but I buy beef and pork that is free range and grass fed from a local butcher. There are many ATV trails around here, we have a gas station and small grocery store which I try to buy as much as possible from to support local employment. I have a side by side ATV with a nice back box , insurance and gas cost nothing. I used to have a truck but got rid of it because I didn't need it to get around plus I enjoy the ride in the side by side. The only draw back is to many people drink and drive around here and young people on drugs who steal.. I have pension and benefits and traveled for five years before I came back here. I get restless for excitement but remember it's a time to be quiet. Don't crave others company and I am pretty healthy, the only stress I have is to figure out what I am going to do that day. Yes I have to work to get wood and grow food but I could sit on my ass all day if I felt like it but you got to keep yourself in shape. I watch a lot documentaries and read e books but have my favorite books in paper. It does get boring but boring is good and you must be happy with what you got and no I don't need a partner remember I was married twice and everything was about what they wanted and not me.. I have gotten used to not answering to anyone or having to meet their needs and wants.. yes I am happy and don't have to struggle

When i travel none of these dramas happen. If it ever happens no matter whose fault it is i would only support the air hostess ?

Please give lifetime ban on such people. Let them travel in second class trains

The people that are complaining about Canada have some valid points , as do I . But in travelling to other countries you really see how the good extremely out weighs the bad . The main problem in my opinion is allowing massive Immigration without improvement of services across every aspect of living . This leads to the degradation of the quality of life . Government can't have it both ways , Get sufficient housing and services or slow immigration . It's that simple

Nonesense... these people like to travel to prosperous places only.. if you look back.. these people would praise or like to go to the middle east when that country was prosperous.. after that they were going to the western countries like usa, uk, canada, and the europe...you can see huge migrations from all these muslism countries.. now these people want to come to India.. Canada is cold and miserable most of the year as you need to stay indoors, Travelling to work when it’s dark in the morning and coming home when it’s dark, how can that be enjoyable. People who enjoy living in very dry warm climates should live there. Housing would be much cheaper in most Muslim countries and no need to have the heater on 24/7 just to stay warm . The sports is so different, Grid Iron in summer and Hockey in winter. Soccer is much easier and to play Cricket all you need is a bat, stumps and a ball and off you go all day.?

I feel this way where we live here in America too. Alhamdulilah there is alot of Muslim people in our neighborhood and a beautiful Mosque but traveling outside of our neighborhood is insane!!

We are so sorry you are leaving. Success immigrants from different parts of the world have come here, were discriminates, but then were accepted and changed the country for the better. After traveling to different parts of the world, I have yet to find a country that is better than Canada, economically or spiritually. I used to encounter these types of people when I lived in India many years ago. It is the rise of a middle class which maybe for the first time experiment air travel significant better quality of life. They have an entitlement mentality.

Basically, the euphemism Canadian experience is a polite way to shield in my humble opinion, a form of chauvinism and bigotry to cut out immigrants from connecting into the labor market and protecting the labor market for what employers consider real Canadians\n\nThe way the whole immigration system is work. You have to work from the bottom up that includes investing in education in Canada and getting credentialed In Canada\n\nFrom my observation, they may need professionals, and they may release the skids with your professional degree and professional experience, overseas, and more importantly, with your youth, so that you can work and contribute to the economy, and then finding an employer to sponsor you at a very low wage\nLower than you can survive on require you to have to get a second job\n\nFrom what I hear from the infrastructure and the business opportunities are limited in Canada\n\nEstablish those raised and educated their often for times, find themselves having to choose to mow to the United States for about 5 to 10 years in order to earn a living and then they go back to Canada\n\nThis is not unlike Canadians, especially in the prairies, wanting to travel east, and having to drop down to drive-through the United States, and then re-enter Canada, because the highways aren’t available or to take a flight from one American city to the next near the border because the cost of flights are a lot less\n\nDoes not have the infrastructure or the business opportunities to support a growing economy yet they need to accommodate immigrants because their own population is not reproducing effectively\n\nLooks like a rock and a hard place

I have experienced this many time, mannerless kids keep kicking irrespective of how many times u request politely to not do it. But best is never to talk to minors as they are most likely travelling with an adult so always seek who they are travelling with and report to the staff onboard first. If they say they are not able to help put it on record with ur phone and report once u land, sometimes u can’t resolve this when u are onboard, as so called literate people never apologise.

I’m not sure what is meant by “making friends” exactly. In my opinion, finding people you can be open with and trust takes years, no matter where you live on this planet. So, for what it’s worth, I thought Calgarians to be easygoing, Montrealers to be outgoing but click-ish, and people in Ottawa kind of dull (at a social group level). I’ve only spent a couple of weeks in Vancouver as a traveler so I can’t really judge but my sister and a friend who both studied and worked in Vancouver - and who are both outgoing people- found it difficult to crack through social circles in Vancouver. They basically thought that Vancouverites are a little elitist/snobby.

I went to live in Canada in 1997 and left in 1998. Other than a very mediocre quality of life, I found Canada dark and gray! High cost of living, low wages, high cost of education and all this to live under -14°C! I went to live in France, and Canada is not in the heels! In Paris I lived in a beautiful city, free and high quality health care, got one bachelor and three master degrees without debts, a contract of work protected with strong labor laws, 4 weeks paid holiday a year, travelled all over Europe and had a mild life canadians won't ever have!

The Government can give expats the below::\n1 Student visa\n2 Work permit(temporary or permanent, so they can work here and build their country of origin )The salary for expats will be different from the salary of locals. \n3 PR.\n4 Instead of citizenship (golden visa will be good, where they get the same benefits as citizen, but cannot vote). If they like it here, they can live or travel to any 150 countries(without a need of visit visa)or go back to their country.

You are absolutely right dear. I've lived in Canada since November 1968, moving from England where I consider trying to live there to be even worst than Canada. I am 82 years old now, having survived through a number of hard times here. However when I have finally paid off my mortgage, I'm going to have a little money to travel for three or four months every year, but I have to stay in Canada for at least 183 days each year to continue receiving my pension.

I left downtown Toronto four years ago. Best decision I ever made. Anyone who flexes hard on how great Toronto is lives in Mississauga or just isn’t well travelled. There’s better cities out there!

I have traveled to many places in the states and all I can say is it depends so much on where you go. THere are many places that, if I could afford it, would move to (eg Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho, Denver) in a heartbeat. Other places (eg Chicago, LA or Seattle ) not so much.

I lived here since 1961. The biggest negative changes have occurred over the last 25 years. Yes a million condos bringing tons of new city tax revenue (wasted) but so unreasonably expensive, as so many new immigrants naturally flock to Toronto and need housing. Which\nmeans traffic sucks, too many downtown roads closed, unused bike lanes steal car travel lanes. Toronto is generally dirtier and meaner than in 60s, 70s, 80s, even 90s. People are less friendly, less polite, less caring, and reside in self contained cultural enclaves. I used to ride the subway daily till 1990s, but i was shocked by my recent ride, with delays, so overcrowded slow service and bummy looking passengers now, scary. Quite a negative unwelcoming transformation!?

I lived in Toronto for almost 25 years but moved to Berlin, Germany, a few months ago. I found the last few years to be really sad and also scary. There is such a huge mental health crisis. The TTC is not very safe feeling. I have friends there who travel with dog or bear spray in their purses. The cost of rent is definitely a huge issue. A lot of friends can never move into a new place and I don't know anyone there who can afford to actually buy a home.\nThe positives are the food options (groceries and restaurants - some of the best in the world), the nice social life, so many things to see and do around the city, and the various beaches and islands.\nThe city is definitely looking uglier and uglier, though, with all of these boxy, glassy condo towers and now with Ford doing things like turning public space into a foreign-owned inaccessible spa.

I’d also add there is a significant amount of egos and those with money there seem to be arrogant. I’ve travelled so many places in the world but Toronto people just aren’t friendly, and the level of entitlement and snobby attitudes is why I don’t go even down for the day like I used to.

I hate Canada. I travel there once and never come back. Everything in Canada is too expensive and the tax is too high. 18% sale tax. WTF.

Listening to your reasons for leaving Canada, it's abundantly clear to me (as a 76 year old who's travelled the world) that you're not going to be particularly happy wherever you live.

I lived in Western Europe, Japan and at the moment, Canada. I lucked out getting a well paying job in Vancouver when I moved back a few years ago and my average tax rate is actually the exact percentage you stated in the video - 28%, which includes income tax, pension and employment insurance. I'm actually doing better in terms of quality of life now but I do miss being able to travel around Europe for cheap. (e.g., quick train ride to Paris for the weekend) Now, I take cheap flights (e.g. Flair Airlines) to Mexico instead.\n\nJust to state some data points: when I was in Europe, I paid a total average of 39% income tax on a lower salary than I have right now in Canada. Things like utilities (e.g., gas/electricity), restaurants, certain grocery items and electronics (e.g., iphone/PS5/computers) were significantly more expensive because European VAT (inclusive) is usually 20%+. \n\nI don't have the exact numbers but on average I believe I was paying 70 - 90€ ($100 - 130 CAD) just for electricity each month for a small flat, but I am now paying $30 - 50 CAD for a decent sized 1 bedroom. I believe my housing gas bill was about the same or possibly a bit more. In addition, automobile gas prices were much higher (about $2€/L on average which is $2.90 CAD/L) and I think they could go even higher right now. \n\nHowever, rent is definitely more expensive in Vancouver, but I believe that is true for many West coast cities in North America. Right now I'm paying $2300 CAD a month for a 1BR, and I split that amount with my partner. In comparison, it would have been about €1300 ($1900 CAD) for something similar in the city where I was living previously. In a more expensive city (e.g. Amsterdam) a 1BR would easily cost €1800+ ($2650 CAD).\n\nFor me, the difficulty of making friends in my late 20's stays about the same. I think it is difficult to make new friends after graduating from school, and you have to put yourself out there by joining groups and events. (e.g. Meetup or volunteering?)

Not all provinces are as expensive as BC. The old expresion of BC-bring cash . These people are completely delusional. I have travelled to so many Muslim countries and living conditionals are terrible, wages are very low. Also what is that cap….Free Palestine from what exactly? Palestine people have been driven out so many other countries due to their disruption.

You will live well anywhere in the world if you have money or a good source of income. All the Canadian ex-pats living abroad have either money (they made here), real estate that they can sell or rent to have income from here, a Canadian pension or a willingness to live in the forest/off-grid, as many videos show. No place is affordable for the people living there, and that's why many immigrants still leave their countries and come here. For example, many Canadians move to Mexico, while many Mexicans are moving here. Canadians still have it good, believe me!! I travel and see. Yes, we have many challenges with housing and the high cost of living like BIG cities worldwide do. So, people saying they will leave Canada are still privileged people.
