How to make the whole world hate you one country at a time. He’s been president now for 5 days and he’s already trying to bully Mexico Panana Canada Denmark Greenland and counting.

Trump has made more enemies in an Olympic record time. Canada, Mexico, Panama, Greenland. Colombia, Panama. Apparently Pretty soon the US will have no allies in the whole AMERICA..

And so, he is just pretty much making Colombian coffee expensive for no reason at all in response to Colombia rejecting his US military flights full of immigrants. Like......what the hell, dude? What. The. Hell? Well, uhhhh......of course it's not gonna Colombia at all really. But uhhhh......\n\nIt will REALLY just only hurt the United States of America for the time being. Yep. He is hurting the very same country that he is supposed to properly govern right now, ladies and gentlemen. OK, now, he can just now even try applying economic pressure to Mexico and Canada to try and get what he personally wants. BUT in the end, it's gonna make their own products even expensive as well. So uhhhhhh, if I were Trump right now, I would just seriously put a complete stop to all of this AND start doing my job right for once.

Canada will gladly buy Colombian goods such as coffee! Let's do business directly between us and leave the USA out... It's time to stop the nonsense of letting the USA do money on us!

Nice wording. Illegal migrants actually, who took a risk crossing illegally. Many are criminals with long lists of convictions, and are mostly men. Migrants who came honestly are just fine. Honest refugees with a real case - not just people claiming refugee status for economic opportunity (which should be punishable with jail time) are just fine. Canada should do the same.

I was born in Canada. It took 2 years to obtain papers for my husband and me to immigrate into Canada from the US IN 1984. THEY REFUSED OUR APPLICATION 3 TIMES.

They are extremely nepotistic and will only hire other indians and family, it’s next to impossible for young native born Canadians to get even basic level entry jobs if the person hiring is indian. \nindians have abused the goodwill of our citizens and our social assistance programs. For the first time in nearly a hundred years our local food banks had to shutter and turn people away because INDIANS were using it as a free grocery store when they had FULL TIME JOBS and brand new bmws, then they post videos on social media saying ‘how to get free food in canada’, while some poor emaciated bastard gets turned away. What makes it worse, a lot of these Indians, especially in the prairies, already have their groceries subsidized by federal government, and they STILL abuse the food bank. It’s not just food bank either, they all apply for welfare and immediately get assistance even though it takes months to get as a natural born citizen, and that’s even if you get it. I was shocked to find out the federal government was paying indians to move out of Ontario and BC into Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba because the coastal cities infrastructure was about to implode in certain areas. So they they told these people to move inland, and if they do and stay there for 18-24 months, they get $3300 dollars a month every month for that duration. My disability cheque, that I paid into for 40 years of hard work, comes out to 950 dollars a month. This is absurd. These people get literally everything handed to them, and STILL abuse the programs meant for those who are struggling. I have never in my life met such an arrogant and utterly dishonest and disgusting group of peoples in my life. This isn’t just one or two bad apples, this is happening in every city around here. They also get first dibs on any and all medical treatment and specialists. Many local residents who have already been on waiting lists for years to get treatment are getting bumped in order to accommodate the new invaders. It’s basically impossible to find a doctors or dentists office accepting new patients. ER rooms are full constantly of these people coming just for runny noses and coughs, clogging up the already strained healthcare system. The prairies hospitals (at least where I live) were barely holding together before this nonsense. Yet somehow, this is all just white people being racist huh? \nWell I’ll tell you what, I’m not white, my people were on this land long before anyone else can claim to be, and while I’ll admit there’s often still a lot of animosity between natives and whites, youd be quite surprised to see how many of us are in agreement towards the current behaviour of these people.

Honestly they can have Canada at this rate, they dont care about us and we dont have time to waste in hopes that someone will make change.. its to far gone economically

Canada have the habit of listening to citizens of other countries, especially from Africa who lie and accuse their home government of a lot of BS, just to seek asylum and you let them in.\n\nMost time your government do not bother to verify asylum seekers stories. \nMany are mostly wanted in their home countries for one crime or the other.

Those people is not immigrants, they are Indian international students and Indian visitors visa. The use the back door to get into Canada. Now the real immigration apply in the right way, they have to wait some more time. Just because the Indian is cheat and scam the Canadian visa system.

These jobs are mostly high paying and effectively unproductive in that they do not generate anything to improve the economy. Rather than contributing to the economy, they draw on it. That has been a drag Canada cannot afford.\n\nIt is about time changes like these are made on a large scale.

1/2 the population works, the youth can't move up economically, it promotes gig, contract, temporary, part-time, no benefits and the long term result is economic instability and citizens here can't afford to have families, have a life. . . People who work and live here and have their finances here, don't benefit the same way. They invited 1.2 million in one year alone and are backlogged over a year. What was this crazy government thinking? Projection is that 1/2 million people will be 'un' documented next year? And out of the 16-17 mi full-time jobs, probably less than half paying a living wage in 'Canada.' It's beyond stupidity, completely incomprehensible what our government has done. Pay Canadians full-time with proper benefits. The Canadian government sets a low benchmark for Canadians 'here.' and just keeps lowering it, not to mention, cash, bribes, kickbacks, and a blackmarket will emerge. They don't know what they're doing.

My mother would go to RENO at least 2 times a year with her sister-in-law till the sister-in-law passed away. She wanted to go again and I said not happening mom,my mom was blind and old and I feared for her safety. In Canada we have crime however compared to to the USA we are safer here.

Please do not be too discouraged with the world, a lot of changes were caused by election of leaders disconnected with needs of its citizens. You have the personality to be capable of living anywhere, and seeing other cultures-it seems your business skills and determination will lead you to success wherever you choose to live. I am a citizen of the USA and there are many things of my Country that upset me and make for at times disgust and a sense of unhappiness! However, your home (Canada) may with changes in your Parliment and Prime Minister, and /or Province leaders be the home that warms your heart and soul. I was in the Missouri when i got sick. I drove home and was diagnosed with a brainstem tumour. 10 hr surgery, 4 surgerical teams, icu, wks hospitalization. Months of rehab and homecare. The school even arranged a cab to take my 5 yr old to school. I have seen bills for pts who didn't make it home and had to have surgery in the US before being repatriated back to the icu i worked. It was an eye opener to see what they were charged for a box of kleenex, a catheter, an iv bag etc. I would have lost everything if i had to have surgery in the US. \nMy sister is currently in hosp in the US, and she is getting good care. I drove down last time she was in, and i was impressed by the lovely large CCU bay, but, hey patients are paying for it. She had a fancy postop CABG pillow to splint her chest when she had to coughed. It had a cute surgical heart on it. I am sure it cost $$. In Canada, we give our pts a regular pillow, some iv morphine and tlc when it hurts when they cough, no fancy cartoon pillow, but no bill either lol. She's a senior on medicaid so she's not going into massive debt or dying in her home to avoid going to the hospital.\n \nI have been travelling to the states since 1976 as a young child. I love the states, I have a lot of family there. My dad lived there until his death. My great grandma immigrated and died in Montana. I have never had a negative experience there in over 49 yrs, other than the old lady backed into my parked suv in the hobby lobby lol parking lot l\n\nA big plus in Canada, is paid Maternity/ paternity leaves and also caregiver leave. Your mom has a stroke or child has cancer you can take time off work to care for them with partial pay and not worry about losing your job

I'm all for helping Mexico and Canada so citizens don't need to come to the USA over time but both countries must know that they have to do their diligence to make sure people that are not legally in their countries use that country as a pass through to the USA. I'm all for the USA, Canada and Mexico work together to stop the illegal drug cartels and gangs.

I have heard the average just to have baby in the US is 7-10K not including prenatal care, here in Canada it is zero…\nI have been pregnant 3 times, sadly lost my first 2, and I have had 2 complete knee replacements and several spinal cord surgeries…I would be dead for sure if I lived in the States, here I have paid nothing, I have insurance and that pays for my medication I need to take. I don’t know how people manage down there if you have health issues.

I have lived in Canada most of my life. I've felt lonely here most of the time. It is a rich county but so isolating. It's hard to make friends as an adult. It's very multicultural so people don't make an effort to meet people outside of their circle. It got worse after the pandemic. If I could, as a black woman, I would move to Mexico but I can't afford to support myself there. My profession keeps me here in Canada, well-off financially, but lonely.

canada,They are taking money for visa processing,medical,documetation(including ielts exam) ,money transfer to their country banks as financial backups (they say GIC),college tuition in their currency,after submitting I have to wait for long time,\nfinally refused for silly reasons like i can't return to your home country(India).in the end I lose more money as you said .and also transaction fees adds up when we ask tuition fess back.if they reject for silly reasons, now I understand ,why this happening ,its all business and they want us to lose more money.innocent people lose money .

Indian news, and particularly your commentaries, are just nationalistic rants. You need to speak the truth and explain the real reasons why Indians have a hard time getting visas for Western and developed countries. I am a cruise ship worker and i travel US and canada every year . In 2023 i had my joining at dry dock in spain . And i was in Schengen visa center in kolkata . There i meet one sardar ji . He was their for the tourist visa and he told me , all his family members in Canada but his visa 7 times got rejected by the canadian authority. Now he want to get a tourist visa for spain and he have a plan to not come back . And he was telling me all those thing with extremely loud voice in front of the visa application center. Just imagine How crazy that was ?

This may be a blessing in disguise to India . I say this not to bring any offence as visa denials are highly prevalent, not only in Canada but in other countries as well. The positive side to this Palki is that India will not suffer brain drain for this season until a new season of visas is granted. I live in Canada. A citizen now, love this country but India is and will always be a home. Canada is facing hard times currently, which is being faced by every country now and then but even the cause root of all these problems Canada is facing right now is coming from somehow from India. The most disruptive and disturbing people are here from India only with no civic sense. They come here and do not value the Canadian culture at all. They do all sort of illegal activities and try to do jugaad in everything, from which we escaped from India. Even on political grounds, the man who somehow messed up everything was under the influence and pressure of the man having Indian roots. I love India without a doubt but we can’t deny the real facts why Indians are being hated everywhere. People in my community here ( whites, First Nations, old Indians) love me and my family because they know how we respect the culture and values and laws of Canada. But there, where people don’t know us personally, we get judgemental eyes because of our colour and we know why, it’s not all of us, but still majority of us have destroyed the image of India and yes Indians deserve to be banned now. We need skills and knowledge and we should class apart from the stupid ones.

My both canada and mexico got rejected recently ???pretty devastating.For a fact i have all the documents and funds but i am being denied by canada stating like i dont have enough home connection.so far i have been born and brought up entirely in India and all my relatives are here.In mexico tourist visa they didn't give a reason ?.Just simply waste of time,money and effort.There should be some strict laws to tackle this problem then only we Indians can have the liberty and proper respect.

Hell no! It’s a fun place to visit, I love Florida California. I’m looking forward to going to the Carolinas, but I would never move there permanently. As a woman in Canada with children, what I do with my uterus is nobody’s business. I like my option of 18 month parental leave. I like my option not to do overtime and not have affect my job. We’re not allowed to carry weapons and use them for protection up here we look out for each other. I would prefer my children to live in a multicultural society where they are just used to other traditions and culture and Orientationchoices. That is not based on the colour of your skin. I like to have a conversation about a political opponent without it getting dangerous you’re allowed to have an opinion up here and that’s how we view it, but quite frankly after half an hour 15 minutes we we get bored of political views and just walk away from you.There’s no such a thing as you don’t want to live in that area and you have to be careful about where your kid goes to school. What does that do to the people that you’ve left behind? How does that make that better for them? I had a friend that worked down in the United States and every time I talk to her, she always uttered. I have to be aware of my white privilege. Google says the average cost to have a child (give birth) in the USA is $18,865. This would translate to $27,207.10 CAD at the time I'm writing this comment. Basically, a year of minimum wage take home pay. Very few people would find that amount of money easy to deal with.\n\nIn Canada it's not only free, but the government pays you monthly amounts if your income is less than what they deem enough to provide for them. This amount can be significant and continues until the child is 19.

Canada hasn't exploited its vast land potential yet! It's time to extend Canada to places which are already Canadian, but are still hinterlands. Immigration is mostly in Southern Canada. Allot immigration to these places in North & West instead of already popular, prosperous & prominent provinces & territories. I was on a bus trip to Tennesee one time and when we crossed the border back into Canada everyone broke out in our Anthem O Canada. It was exhilarating.

One time, I went on 1 day business trip to Canada ( i have American Citizenship, but born in Europe). Good Lord, I was asked so many ridiculous questions, and most were related to my former old country!!! Absolutely total idiotic nonsense!! There are other places you know they are international students you are supposed to come to study then. Leave . Most people that come to study in Canada from different countries they leave after graduation. You can even check the m number of people from different countries that leave and most do only people from\nIndia so leave . Canada is not all that great it’s good most of the time high taxes . . I live in Canada and work as a journeyman electrician earning $100k/year. That salary means nothing with such high taxes and high inflation.
