No one should make comments until actually VISIT Canada and see how many Canadian towns have been destroyed by Trudeau's open immigration policy. This is a REAL immigration problem!!! Also, for that old Mexican lady to say those things about her own family, tells me, she is not someone who cares for others or may even care at all. She became a racist just like the republicans and her family should be ashamed of her. Lastly, different times of immigration, this time around, those leaving other countries are trying to save their families lives, having to deal with authoritarian dictators, drug cartels and corrupt governments. She may have had some of that, but I doubt it, she just wanted to move here and make a better life for herself, screw her loved ones. She is an abomination and one of the reasons this country has lost itself, if a Mexican immigrant cannot feel sympathy or empathy for those people in a very similar situation than that person has truly been corrupted by the republicans “all about me” mantra.

Many have concerns that many of the new comers can't even speak English yet they have license to drive and how do we get around most bend the rules or the law. Myself I've notice a skyrocketing scam scheme and how can you not equate that to the rise in our broken immigration policy. The last time I heard you had to have certain criteria to be considered to immigrate and why is that some countries like from the South Pacific you need to know English have money in the bank and a skill or degree on a list of acceptable qualifications. So many who can't even read or write English have jobs, drive a car, then to make matters worse have housing yet we have a crisis? Most Canadians see the pattern and most are educated enough to know there is something to be said, loopholes and when they find it they abuse the system.

Now if you do the math they inject about 3.6 Billion dollars every year! Which makes International student one of the top 10 source of revenue for Canada! This is disheartening... this means that my husband will never be able to live with us. My children will grow up without their father, and for some reason, Canadians are OK with Canadian children growing up in a broken home. It's going to take 35 months, for my husband to be able to immigrate to this country. That's 2 1/2 year that my kids won't have a dad, our son especially is suffering. He has a serious disease, is often hospitalized, and I'm a married woman living as a single mother. Now I'll need to rely on the government for more financial support, and my 6 year old is actually depressed because his dad is years away from being with him. I work full time, have a great home, and a side business. But now I'll need to depend on meds and disability support to take care of my child, when he has an ablebodied father that can support us, especially when our child is in one of his regular hospitalization. You all are cruel.

One major issue which gets ignored is that the money these immigrants (specially Indian)make gets recycle back to their own home country instead of getting recycle here to improve the economy here in Canada. \nThey are sending Canadian made money back home to get invested and spent. They rather live cheaply here and scam the system to save pennies here than spend money here to help the economy. The process is not the same as it was in the 80s when they did not require renewal every couple yrs w high $ and rules to return to home country for a set amount of time risking losing your home/job/business etc. Some renewal process for green cards have sped up but still takes 6-1yr and a new green card renewal and new one for Mexico can take 1-3yrs for approval. So someone that’s been here +20yrs will have to leave everything they have built here to go wait quite a long time. Its not if you agree how they got here, its what they have done in our country since being here. They add to our economy, +80% pay taxes to never get any of those benefits and they open businesses employing people etc. If they have been here committing a list of crimes then no i don’t agree but majority of immigrants don’t do that.
