Stop with the expectation that country’s like Canada, should always carry the burden and responsibility, to educate a continual portion your one billion citizen’s, or your even your hundred million citizens. The students taken in by QUEBEC to be trained as nurses are complaing they do not get ENOUGH financially. The few CANADIANS going into nursing here have no financial backing. The real problem is the middle class and small businesses in Canada. I was a PR in Canada and still couldn't get a decent job because of two major issues. First - language. I went to look for a job in so many places but couldn't get it because I couldn't speak their native language, like Polish, Arabian, or Chinese. Second - I asked someone if I could get a govt. job near my house and everybody said NO. Why because the place had a Polish guy in charge, and he is only going to hire his family or friends who are Polish. So doesn't matter if you get the best leader known to man, Canadian economy is doomed if you don't do anything about the middle class system and non-English speaking immigrants.

When given circumstances of true immigration are present, a majority of Canadians (or any other country, for that matter) have proved to be accepting. This is not the current situation, hence my noting that your title is misleading. Multiple countries are, during economic strife, being inundated with individuals perporting to be immigrants and stretching an already bad situation to breaking point. One questions the logic behind such decisions as can be illustrated thusly. A family is struggling with funds so decides to advertise a space in return for income and an understanding/expectation of contributing towards the general upkeep of said space. This would be mutually agreeable. The family would increase the hardships AND the effort they would be responsible for by taking in someone when they are at breaking point. They might, upon better circumstances, invite someone in to help bridge that guests progress... but not indefinitely. Now let's return to the current situation, shall we? It is not one but many. There is increased, NOT REDUCED, burden of effort. Some are not abiding to the general agreements of the house and, at least, doing their *fair* share. So, coming back to your title of this misleading piece, it is disingenuous and sonewhat preaching to present either the question or an argument without being cognizant of these relevant facts.

In Canada, there used to be a difference between ‘immigrant’ & ‘refugee’. Trudeau and his government have made these two groups into one. My family immigrated from England in the 1950s. My father had to have a job waiting for him when we arrived. We had to go through health checks. My parents had to prove that we had a specific amount of money so that we would not be a drain on Canada. Trudeau has opened the border to anyone wanting to come no matter if they have anything to offer Canada.

Toronto real estate is like a tube of toothpaste that only has a little bit of paste up around the cap. It is now one of the worst investment products in the world because someone else already took all of the profit out of the system. In other words, they have brushed their teeth a lot and the tube is basically spent. Deploying money into the market in 2008 was brilliant. Doing that in 2024 is financial suicide as their nothing left in the tube for profit. Will an interest rate fix that fundamental problem? Thanks for this informative video. I am a British and live in the U.K. I believe the U.K is one of the best countries in the world to be a black person. The mainstream press have not been truthful in reporting the recent protests in the U.K. It wasn't based on race, but based on a different reason, which I am unwilling to make mention, lest I be censored. As a matter of fact, the protesters were comprised of both white and non white Britons.
