I'm Lithuanian and I lived in UK. I left because of racism. It's nasty when it is targeted at you but I get it. In London I was doing parking enforcement and all parking officers knew that you have to be very cautious with people of certain nationalities. I was racially profiling myself. It is nasty but that is the reality - some people are more dangerous than others. And it hurts a lot when you are trying to be a good human and being racially profiled yourself.

What are people talking about saying half of Canada is french! Canadians are English and there used to be tons of us in Montreal, but 300,000 left in a mass exodus to get the French whip off their backs, they even fill the French text books with lessons given by the French whip instead of the truth about how the French didn't want to fight in the war and the old cemeteries are full of Irish, Scottish and British soldiers like my grandfather and uncle buried in veteran memorial plots with sad little Quebec government markers! Meanwhile, their English speaking grandchildren like myself not only have a back full of lash marks from the French whip but the French speaking immigrants think they can use the French whip to grind us into the ground our ancestors are buried in as well!!!

I am not even joking. I would love to run for pm because i feel 1000% more qualified than this guy. I just want to replace him. His dad came into power, dollar was even with the states. Have fun coming to travel to toronto in august and september. There wont be any affordable hotel rooms available as theyll all be occupied with these opportunistic people who just decided to walk in our country illegally and youll be left to paying WAY MORE $$$$ for expensive hotel rooms, if you can even find one. He threw out regular hotel guests and travelers to make room for 35000 syrian refugees to house them in hotels for 6 months at a whopping cost of M$$$ us the taxpayers. we have 70 seniors who died this month from neglect being left in apartments on their own with no AC during the heat wave but people who just illegally cross borders deserve better than our seniors who have spent their lives paying taxes and helped grow our country. I'm sure our country has GIVEN billions of dollars to the countries South of us that was supposedly to help build their country improve. A lot of people comment about how illegal immigration is ok, and blah blah blah. It's simple to say that when you don't feel the direct impact. Change the US as a country to your house. Now let's say the neighbors land Lord is beating the shit outta everyone in that household (play on the violence that's happening in country of orgin). One of then move into your house without letting you know beforehand (illegals). Let's say you don't mind and understand why they did so. Now they work hard around the house and get a job to spend for themselves and send money next door to the family still left behind. . But they don't have to pay for electricity, gas (aka taxes). And since you own a 3 bed room house, things don't change that much. Now 2 more of the neighbors flee because of the asshole land Lord. Now you have to start working slightly harder to pay for your utilities aka taxes. Now you start seeing how more people affect your household. Now even more people flee the next door neighbors and you work even harder for utilities plus your trash is overflowing, have to invest in larger trash cans, fix the doors or ascetic's(pipes, faucets, tubs etc) in your house from over use or mismanagement. Plus you have to start driving their kids to school, you have to get a bigger vehicle (that's a play on the education systems bloating classroom problems)spend more on gas and car maintenance, and since they all don't speak English, to have to spend money on making signs to inform them of the house rules and dangers. You have to invest time out of your schedule to inform them how things work in your house hold because at their house they walked around naked or shit with the door open (play on different societal norms or religions) and may even have to alter your rules as not to impose and anger them. Know the house is over filled and they expect you to buy a bigger house (play on the welfare state)I mean I can go on... But people reading this can get the drift. Point is, yes i understand that people want a better life and all immgration in not necessarily evil, but you can't just let anyone come in because you feel bad. Making change based off emotions of a few is detrimental to the whole.

I was born in Seattle and left to Canada (married) when I was in early 20's!  This then was a good change for me as Vancouver was a great city compared to Seattle, moved right downtown and had a blast so for a young person (then) was great.  Met some great people from all over the world and had health care, medical/Dental etc.... I worked in the greater Vancouver area for 8 years and it was tough, very strict, and did not help that I was from the states, white bread Canadian seemed a bit jealous that I was there, sometimes not very friendly.  The Europeans I met were actually better to deal with and I got along quite well with them.  The cost of living was about the same as in Seattle.  After about 8 years being in Canada and working hard I saw America booming and the Canadian dollar was as low as $.62 cents (in late 90's) so I took my craft from Vancouver and brought it to the US just across the border, I became much happier working in the States, I took a little bit of bs but not bad from some that I had a Canadian accent (go figure when I moved up there I had a twang) I really never left the united states I will always be American and I have been still working in the US for over 20 years and deal with mainly Americans on a daily basis from all over the State of Washington.  Depending on where you grow up or end up you should never see a border Seattle and Vancouver have more in common than Vancouver / Calgary in fact most Canadians don't care much for the other provinces.  After 30 years of being part of both countries, I can say that people are people both have great offerings and if you took the best of Canada and America to combine then we would all prosper, there is so much both can learn from each other.  Bottom line:I take the best of both worlds and what they have to offer, yes, I have found less expensive goods in Canada than what they cost in the states.  I have seen it from both eyes, and if you cant be open culturally then stay away.

I went and viewed 3 vacant apartment in a building. Available immediately. I was ready to take one. I noticed, as we went to each apartment that they were all inhabited by Polish people. The Superintendent and the Property Manager, also Polish. I am guessing the owner was too.\nI am a single, middle aged, clean and healthy, responsible white woman. NOT polish though. After submitting my application and deposit I waited. 5 days later called and left a message, 2 days after, called again. No answer. Then, called from a Private number and they answered right away. I asked them the status of my application. We are sorry ... all three apartments taken. \nI believe I was discriminated against because I am not Polish. Oh well ... I've moved on. Found a great apartment up the street for less rent, free parking and a very welcoming atmosphere.\nLife goes on.

I looked up the test. It biases everything 'good' and 'white' with right hand motion and everything 'bad' and 'African desent' is done with the left hand. Yes those are the actual test terms. Since the majority of people are right handed ...

It was too dangerous though for her to work with the walking bomb clones of Megan Markle and Sarah Rafferty coming in to the office so she left and I had to take over her role as the Black Lawyer in Suits so by Season 3 I had to take over almost completely but she did a lot of the lawyering scenes and really deserves the credit as a really good lawyer who us real. She won the Emmy and deserved it as the only Female Black Actress to win any Award ever. So congratulations to her as a great Actress. We tried to keep t manipulation of Megan Markle to a minimum but dud include what she was attempting to do off camera to get into Harvard Law to one up Patrick J Adams who she discredited as a Harvard Law Graduate. I was targeted by her as well when studying at UofT and so I know from her behaviour off camera the real nastiness she has as Arab of Dubai toward us as Royals as Canadians. Laws are laws you seek asylum in the first safe landing not your choice of wherever whenever. Why then can I not leave Canada and go live in another country undocumented then when I fear deportation just go to another country? Because it's illegal yeah. Living in Latin America is not that bad, well there are parts where you should avoid at all cost but there are places where you can have a safe decent life, most of you just say what comes out of your small little brains without ever even leaving your city your whole life. Its just that this people have lived and been so dependent from your system and in stretching their hands( beg) all this time that they not know what to do now. \n\nHe said that he wasted 15 thousand dollars in lawyer, if it would have been me I could have perfectly moved to lets say Costa Rica or Peru and still have money to buy land. But they really are addicted to this kind of life. I agree that the people in El salvador have made violence to sky rocket because they have not done nothing about it, they left gangs and violence to proliferate and now its just too late for them. But there is still hope in other places in Latin America.

I find that with each generation, the issue with racism becomes slightly less and less, which is great considering slavery was abolished only for about 100 years. I find that living in Canada as a black millenial is much better then say living in the 70s. I never faced racism the entire time i grew up here. but then again I haven't been everywhere in Canada. I think the most you'll experience here right now is indirect racism in the small towns. but you just have to show them who you really are and most will be OK. I don't think a lot of the people still have the mindset left in the 1900s. especially not in the major cities where its so diverse. but there's racism everywhere no matter what you look like. I hope everyone can look past appearance and stereotypes some day.

I had a good long talk with a Muslim girl about science, and how she is wrong and so is her dad, that the Quran has no science in it, and that it was a Catholic who made up the idea that it does.\n\nEducation is the key. I know one girl who was Muslim, and after taking some philosophy classes she left her religion, and her abusive husband with it. She is finally enjoying life, enjoying wine, sex, and life in general.
