What will Canada do, you ask? For starters, it can clear the truckload of foreign workers taking sub-par wages at job sites for my son's 3rd-year electrician apprenticeship - a job he hasn't found any work in for about 4 months now in the GTA. Yes, these workers and the companies that employ them have been illegally using the system meant for workers that cannot be found locally to hire for lower wages than Canadians. Some of them are fully qualified electricians willing to work for $22/hour - just $4.80 above minimum wage - you cannot survive on that in the GTA. So, not only do these workers steal jobs, they drive down wages. The companies need to be fined for misuse of this code.

I think the rabid immigration should stop as it will damage Indias reputation even more especially with the quality of people who are going abroad. The countries who give them visas are fully aware that there are universities that earn them forex but this could be really damaging to their countries. What happened in Canada is of course an extreme case and other countries can probably learn from it \n\nAlso India should restrict exit and not give out loans to people who do not intend to return. However, we feel increasingly bored with life here despite the fact that we live in downtown Toronto. So we think of moving to Europe or US, haven't decided yet.
