Do they really expect people to go back to their countries on their own?? It's not gonna happen. They WILL have to spend billions of dollars to deport them.

Undocumented workers paid 96 billion dollars into Social Security and Medicare through the INT. They are not eligible to collect from those programs but there work help sustains them. They do work Americans do not want to do. Hotels hire them, farmers hire them, meat packing plants hire them, construction companies hire them. Removing them will be a disaster. Banks says the American people have spoken for it, I didn't. Only 51 percent of uneducated voters for Trump wanted it. We Democrats understand they are needed here. Republicans in the red state on Welfare won't go to work and do the jobs immigrants do. What will happen is Trump will cut the taxes for the rich, raise our taxes and do away with Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and other needed social programs like CHIP, Meals on Wheels, School lunch programs etc... America will suffer and end up losing our allies and pulled out of the NATO agreement, which Russia wants us to do. Trump is friends with our enemies. He is a traitor to America and proved it when he stole top secret documents and refused to return them and showed them to people who had no clearance to do so. Dumb Americans voted him in after every warning from generals and all his staff to his own VP said he is not fit to sit in the oval office. Now all of America and our Allies will pay the price.

What I would like to know is who is going to fill the jobs left unfilled when all these deportations happen? Jobs that most American citizens do not want to do. I would also like to hear how grocery prices will go down when all these agriculture and manufacturing jobs done by immigrants suddenly become vacant with no one to fill them.

It’ll never happen. Republicans loveee cheap non documented workers despite their phony outrage. You watch how many loopholes they’ll put in these bills to let their landscapers,painters,crop pickers,etc,etc get ‘exceptions’. E-Verify would solve the problem almost 100% percent but republicans keep pulling it out of legislation at last minute because it would prevent the real criminals ( multi billionaires) from making insane profits. So for those with partners who are undocumented, you can expect one day that partner simply won't return home. Prepare for the worst. It is now a reality. Your partner leaves the house, goes to work at a factory or whatever job and the location gets raided. Even if that person is latino and 'legal', it will take time to sort out the confusion. That person may not be carrying documents showing permanent residency. It won't matter. Once you're on a truck, headed to some undisclosed location as an 'illegal', that's it. The drama doesn't stop there...Now the partner left behind may not have income. That 'illegal' may have been the only source of income in the household. How are families supposed to feed and clothe themselves without support? But hey, this is the new (racist/sexist America). Glad the world got a chance to see this. These Trump voters ain't thinking but they will be the first ones to complain when things don't happen as they expect.

Why do we need detention camps? Once an illegal gets caught by ICE, then bring them directly to the border and just send to the other-side of the border wall. That’s it. If this keeps going on, then numerous illegals will leave the country by their own. Also, ICE should raid the employment companies, stores, gas stations, and all possible illegal employment facilities very frequently to not only catch the illegals but also to charge a big amount of penalties to those employers. This will fund the deportation costs and tightening the illegal surviving in US will diminish this illegal flow. This process happened in past after the twin towers attacks. The republican administration knows very well how to push back the illegals.

We don't have enough low-income housing NOW, which is what refugees will be looking to rent. So what happens to Canadian-born natural citizens who already do not have enough of this kind of housing!?? Despite all the rhetoric on immigration, the truth is that Republicans love slave labor and that's why they have scuttled efforts whenever it came to actually halt illegal immigration. \nIt is also why they are opposed to abortion, homosexuality, contraception, sex education, education in general - because none of these activities add to the population. Educated people tend to have fewer children. Uneducated people will have more children, will be more economically oppressed, and are less aware of their rights as citizens.

I give it two weeks after they actually begin before we get reporting that they have deported a legal resident (3 days for it to happen, and the rest is for discovery and reporting).\nI give it one month tops before we find out they have deported actual citizens.
