Good Job Rebel News. As an Indian, I fully support you in what you're doing, true journalism! However, Canadian Politicians are to blame for this mess as well. They, for some reason, decided to double the number of International students during the Covid Era. And now they cannot clear the mess

International students with work permits are time limited. Once over, there is no contractual obligations. Are you here to study, work or use this loophole to obtain permanent residency?

There are quite a number of problems happening in Brampton (car accidents, houses caught fire, cars stolen, etc.) mainly due to the illegal immigrants from South Asia (Punjab). It is time for these international students from India to go back home.

If people from Mexico stop coming to work for Canadian farmers during harvest time, no one will want to work for such low wages as they do. Canada needs to immediately tax them an additional 40% from the paychecks of all temporary non permanent foreign workers and international students who are currently working in Canada. Taxing the people who are non Canadian residents wirking in Canada with a much higher tax rate than is taxed on Canadian Citizens is a solution for Canada to make money to support rising numbers of unemployed Canadian born citizens.

Just a point of clarification. Are you confusing Immigrants to Temporary Foreign Workers and International Students? Those 70,000 you mentioned are not immigrants. They have temporary visas and are not guaranteed immigrant status. Please clarify because you're not being clear. Thank you.

International students and temporary unskilled foreign workers should all be severely taxed an extra international student and foreign unskilled worker wage tax on all Canadian earnings, which will then need to be provided to supplement all our unemployed Canadian Citizens.

Don't let International Students work... They got a student visa by showing they can sustain themselves while studying... So why need to work... Why did he say he came here for a better life but he’s an international student. Didn’t he come here to study? I’ve thought about going to another country to study medicine but I have no intentions of staying there for a better life. He didn’t say a single thing about having to go to school with no where to live. He didn’t mention a single thing about studying and school. Just that he came here for a better life. If life was so hard back where he’s from , how did he afford international student tuition which is in the 10s of thousands per semester?

Most of these International students spend $30 to $40,000/- to come here and settle down . The courses which are offered by these no name Candian institutes in which these people enroll into are of ZERO value back home and even here in Canada there is not much value. Purpose is just to settle down and every one knows that . Its just a huge scam and everyone is a part of it . I wish they could have used this money to initiate a start up back home .

Why the fk we only bringing indians, there is no other fking country on planet? If it is sooo important to bring people, who not bring people from all over the world just like USA. \nGo travel from east coast to west coast and you will see how indian nepotism work, once an indian become a manager at any workplace, he will go to extreme lengths to hire only Indians. Canada specially British Columbia is full of people from India and China. There are many economical sectors where everybody working is from India like private transport, taxis, 7 eleven, supermarkets and big retail stores. In the last 10 years the province became an Indian colony. Is this bad? Not sure because the economy is still dominated by big monopolies who have privileges from the Canadian government. Foreign Professionals still find restrictions to work or their diplomas never will be recognized. They are competing for low salaries and low income jobs that never will fill their expenses. Most of Germans are really good people and friendly nothing against them but Germany itself is not immigrant friendly racism is pretty much on the rise ,low wages , little or no opportunities, my wife handles international clients and she says German client s are the worst in behavior they sound rude and entitled. If I'm a skilled person and want to move to Germany first and foremost you need to learn most difficult language in world and master it nothings wrong there but why would I when I could just go with English and move to other English speaking countries which offers more opportunities or atleast learn french that would be even more beneficial. Germany was known for it's low cost education system and other benefits it provide for students but sadly enough jobs are not there. If you want to attract international talent first atleast create an atmosphere for them but really sorry to say these but Germany feels hostile towards immigrants. Big MNCs are seeing all these and saying why are we here if we cannot hire international talent and slowly they are walking out of there and moving on to other countries ? and now you got serious issue here and people have only themselves to blame ?. Go taken out anti immigrant marches and go with conservative approach nothing new for Germany in the end German economy always ends up in toilet.

The government should change the rule to let international students into the country, beside getting accepted to the accredited schools , they also need to have a guarantor living here who will guarantee for their well-being ( including housing and food ) during their courses.

I don’t blame the people that immigrated into Canada. I blame our government for bringing them in at unsustainable numbers. As FRENCH, I think it is more an issue with policies set by both governments!!! You know you bring students IN and why don’t you build houses and encourage construction???? In France, many students (mainly Africa, and French departments like Guadeloupe, Tahiti or Martinique) come to study there (for free and we are proud of it!!!) BUT - unlike Canada - we do NOT have the same issues as Canada (our healthcare is NOT under pressure and our housing prices haven’t really increased that much as compared to Canada for example!!!) to me, the students are NOT to blame!!! It is the fault of the deciders (at different level) who have FAILED to set the right policies!!!! The schools are also to blame as some (not all) are so obsessed with making profits out of the higher international fees, which by way, subsidize Canadian students!!! So in Canada (not in France or Germany), the money that allows schools to function come from international students who BRING LOTS OF MONEY for the Canadian economy!!!! in France, it is different as the universities are FREE and are fully subsidized by the French government… but yes;) you have to speak French fluently to attend them!!! \nSo dear Canadians, do not blame foreign students thanks to whom your universities thrive and remain existant!!! Without them (namely the Indians too), the Canadian universities will struggle to find money and funding! Remember, the system in France is TOTALLY different!!!!

DO NOT BLAME INTERNATIONAL STUDENT. There are agents working for all colleges and universities as a recruiter for student. They receive commission from universities. How many billions all colleges and universities made in last 10 years from charging double tuition fee. Investigate all Canadian consulate employees world wide to find out how much money was flowing in corrupt system. Our failure in system and now we are blaming students. colleges created courses to get more students and make more money.... and guess what... that course has no value....like networking course for IT. student who came in was fully trained in networking....he just wanted PR in Canada....
