It’s pretty crazy, insane even, that national security has been politicized to the point that one side of the political aisle is willing to let criminals without proper citizenship run rampant on the streets while one side who enforces what is simply a normal, common-sense standard is seen as extreme. We’ve allowed politics to damage our ability to think rationally, to the point that we are endangering innocent lives merely to prove a political point.

Most of my professional career has been working for companies in the U.S.. I do find it frustrating to be surrounded by rudeness, ignorance, police sirens wailing at night.\nSometimes gunshots. I’ve had personal experiences where I’ve struggled to connect with some Indians at work and felt excluded. While I try to remain polite and professional, these repeated interactions have left me with mixed feelings. I understand the importance of diversity and cultural inclusion, but I believe there also needs to be mutual respect and effort from everyone involved for integration to work. It’s not about banning anyone but fostering better understanding and collaboration.
