I hate that one man can take control of our country and represent us as a whole. I do not side with trump and im so mad to see what he is doing

We understand. We live just south of Lake Superior. We don't want this either but it's important that no country should bow to the United States. Let us be clear- Our president lack moral character and integrity and is no more trustworthy than Putin. Trump isn't concerned about Fentanyl, because if he was, he wouldn't be gutting the agencies that track it.

As an American citizen, I am horrified by the insane politics of the Trump administration. I am looking to move to Canada, if you will welcome me. I am a one per center, and will be depositing millions of US dollars into your banks.

Americans are not stupid as we know going against the establishment wasn't going to be easy. We stand with Trump as he's cleaning up the mess democrats put us in.

My skepticism tells me that Trump is doing this so that US American companies will crash, and his rich buddies will buy the lower price stocks. There tariff's Trump is levying on Canada are BS. Less than 1% of illegal migration comes from Canada and 0.02% of all Fentanal comes into the US from Canada. Conversely, The US imports over half its oil from Canada, and 45% of its gas from Canada.

This is all just a pretense for Trump (Not the US) to invade Canada, with the blessing of China and Russia. Make no mistake, this is an axis of evil trying to establish a new world order. This is just the beginning of the coming storm. Good luck to the free world; we’re going to need it.

I’m not a fan of Trudeau but he speaks in a calm rational manner. He is polite but firm. I’m an American and although I agree with some of Trumps ideas, being rude and not thinking things through before acting, is inexcusable. We have enemies all over the world and now we have even turned our friends against us. The drug problem is an American problem, not Canada or Mexico. We can’t keep guns from entering Mexico, arming the cartels, how can we expect the Mexican government to keep drugs out of America?

America got one big madness President at the White House. We believe he already open the Bank of America to receive 25 percent from Canada ?? , 25 percent from Mexico ?? and another 10 percent from China ??. These tariffs (taxes) are for US government work? Superb speech. And a clear casus belli for Trump. If the US economy is down significantly, he'll blame Canada, arguing that you've put unfair tariffs on the US with the specific purpose of hurting them (which is undeniable!) and it's Anschluss time, baby. Never underestimate how crazy he is.

Mr Trudeau, if you go on a trade war with the US you’re definitely gonna get it and lose. All you have to do is lower the tariffs you’re imposing on American goods so Trump won’t impose the same tariffs on you.

This has nothing to do with Canada or the Canadian people. This is a pure transactional move because that is how Trump sees things. He needs the money to finance his agenda and he has been told that the money does not exist in terms of what the US Congress can provide. They won't cut military spending and they wouldn't dare touch SS or Medicare. Therefore, Trump is resorting to the only available option which is to have the American people pay for it all and that is what he is doing with these tariffs. He doesn't need to worry about reelection so he couldn't care less how much pain he is inflicting on the very people who voted for him. Elections have consequences.

Make no mistake. The Tariff talk started right after Canada's reaction to Trump's demand that Canada become the 51st state. That's what this is all about. Nothing to do with Fentynal. No winners? Your gravy train with the US is over and you have the most to lose. The US has been asking for fair reciprocity with its trading partners but you are causing it to be demanded. Canada has a population about the same as one state California. Trump has opened the US up to extracting and using its own oil, mineral, timber and other resources which we have lots and lots of. Canada sells the US 42% of US imported aluminum. Lumber. Fertilizer. Canada has rare minerals. Canada provides electricity to two northern states and northern NY. Among many other things. Canadian troops fought alongside US troops in the Middle East. Why does Trump want to destroy the partnership ?

You say intelligent words right from the start and you deliver a strong message in a very strong manner, beginning with this: the US is declaring economic war on Canada, as well as strong arguments, and that fentanyl is just a pretext, which we all already know, that getting closer to Russia and cutting ties with its allies is Donald Trump's current course of action, and the fair question to ask is why is this man putting himself at the service of the Kremlin which is totally unnatural for an American.?
