I feel like this is fake to get views. There are certainly stupid and rude people out there like this, but to record it and upload it, that seems unlikely.

I lived there for some years, and the reason I don't want to stay and live there is one thing only... People are so stupid, almost as stupid as Americans as the most stupid people in the world. .. by the way, housing and living costs are all over the world rising. More and more people struggle and more live in poverty and only the richest 10% are getting richer. The reason is right wing capitalist politics and the pattern is the same in all countries with right wing capitalist politics. That's why people are stupid, voting and idolizing politics that makes it worse for them

Imagine if she get caught up in all the deportation and she say I vote for you. The immigration issue need to be fixed while at the same time treat people with dignity.

I understand this woman’s position because she understands the situation unfortunately many people don’t and only focus on the sentimental part of it. Trump ones told his friends that if talking about him would get them hired he said go ahead and trash me and go make your money. Now that sounds like someone who cares even if they themselves come out looking bad and their character damage. People, family can truly be selfish in many ways, I’m more than positive is not easy for her to have this opinion yet she understands what is at stake. Hint: if things continue the way they are their will be no US for anyone at least not the US that people are fleeting their countries to come to.

during the pandemic many restaurant chains suffered, so later Sikhs Indians, were hired to fill the gap, but now that things are getting back to normal they do not leave and even more come for these entry level jobs, but the problem is if people from India keep taking these jobs, our kids fresh out of high school are looking for their first jobs to break into the work force, which is now becoming difficult as the Sikhs already have already taken them.....

Please India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Africa control your birth rate because your countries can't give you joba due to your population growing and then you people come to other countries and take their jobs especially Indians. And you aren't Canadian just by getting passport doesn't make you native of that land. I am born in Pakistan and I have Canadian citizenship but it doesn't mean I am native here.

What about the illegal immigration? People come to Canada under visitor visa and they can even work unionized, open bank account, get a credit card, build credit score, get a driver's license, financing a car, open a company. Its crazy! How can it happens?

She stood in line for hours/days to get green card?!? It takes a minimum of two years to get a green card. The thing too is the bad people coming now get so much free stuff. The rest of the immigrants who built this country had no programs yet have to pay for the newcomers who are changing the country. So some things aren't the Indians fault. The rest of us who came and adapted now face discrimination from newcomers and our own people who say Canada has no culture. I come from a time when foreigners got along for the most part. Now so many groups that all hate each other. We came here to get away from the crappy people in our country but now they have followed us here and turn the good land bad.

No one gets deported they cannot deport criminals so why would they go after people that have done nothing but work.

It's Not enough and this was Not Fair! We came here in this country and vetted for 6 years by Immigration and all proper education requirements met. My mom worked so hard to be able to come into this Country when I was 14yrs old, there were Rules and Criteria. Now, it's all a Joke. People can come into Canada without proper oversight and Money works. As long as you have huge sums to pay, they let you in, easily, 3months you get Permanent Resident status, we worked hard for 6 years, even doesn't matter if you're a criminal from back home, they let you in, as long as you have money. No proper Vetting process! What has this Current government done to this once great country? They ruined this whole Canadian immigration dream for everyone. My family feels angry and cheated on! I worked 3 jobs since I came here young upto this day 26 years later, pay my taxes and these 'cheaters' get paid social assistance. Very Shameful Canada!

Can these people get jobs if they are technically refugees?

Only qualified people get employment in Canada. Young Canadians do not like to do low-paying jobs, so immigrants do more of those jobs and young Canadians do not have as much skills as immigrants have for high-paying jobs. Immigrants have no option to get success without hard work and skills. Therefore, immigrants work harder to get skills and success than the privileged native Canadian youth. So it would not be right to say that immigrants are taking away their jobs.

It doesn't always snow in Vancouver; some years like the last 2 years we had NO snow at all. But yes, it still gets cold and sometimes icy so make sure you have a winter coat, mittens or gloves and boots. Ear muffs are used by some while others wear a warm hat and sometimes there's a hat attached to your coat so that makes it easier. Stock up on either regular table salt or you can buy a heavier type of salt especially used to sprinkle where you want the ice to melt; like your driveway. Your car will need winter tires too and the guys at any gas station can put them on for you for a reasonable price while you wait. I'd also recommend buying a heating pad for your bed....one that covers the entire bed....it's just oh so nice to turn it on to high a while before climbing in; it feels like heaven and you'll be asleep real fast. When there's 2 people in a bed they can each adjust their side to whatever the degree of heat they want. Good night.......

What I do as an Indian born and raised in the US is tell these people the only people with any right to tell me to get off this land are the people who are native to this land. You think you have the right to tell me not to be here because your ancestors committed genocide so you could be here? We both should not be here if we're being honest. The metrics of the majority of new immigrants come from the Middle East and India how can anyone not notice the concern that many have been expressing for a decade. Canadians aren't against immigrants it's that we didn't expect to just let anyone in without actually knowing how to speak English or have etiquette and follow laws. Many have concerns that many of the new comers can't even speak English yet they have license to drive and how do we get around most bend the rules or the law. Myself I've notice a skyrocketing scam scheme and how can you not equate that to the rise in our broken immigration policy. The last time I heard you had to have certain criteria to be considered to immigrate and why is that some countries like from the South Pacific you need to know English have money in the bank and a skill or degree on a list of acceptable qualifications. So many who can't even read or write English have jobs, drive a car, then to make matters worse have housing yet we have a crisis? Most Canadians see the pattern and most are educated enough to know there is something to be said, loopholes and when they find it they abuse the system.

What we need is better paying jobs with benefits. Corporations flow of money must be followed, how much is leaving the country. Stop giving welfare to corporations who are making record profits that leave the country . \nWith new comers coming in with government subsidies to pay for their housing and giving businesses part of the wages payed by our taxes while our people live in tents, results more native Canadians are unable to be employed, get houses etc.

How many part-time jobs do they expect these people to work to pay for rent? Finding a full-time job is almost impossible. Coming to Canada exspecting the country to look after them? The companies take hours away from their employees and create another part-time position, then gets a bonus from the government as part of the new employee wages are paid. Same hours for the company but paying less wages and keeping the profits. Who is does this benefit? Not the workers that then need another part-time job to feed their kids. Filling up schools with people who do not met the education requirements with bogus paperwork. Who are then forced to attend a strip mall schools. Are their diplomas even valid? No proper place to live and using foodbanks. Anyone with this paperwork should be refused at airport not supported. Most are coming from counties that have schools. Because really would you want them managing your money, running the country or are they going to work at Tim Hortons? No wait their fellow countrymen will then use them in scams. How can gov officials be so retarded?? immigration doesnt affect housing. Government interference affects housing. Removing the LTB and changing tenancy laws to a free marketplace will open the floodgate, and everyone will want to become a landlord. Now, no one wants to, and this is what drives rental prices up. You have reduced supply due to harsh rules. If a tenant does not pay rent, they should be arrested for theft. Now, with the current laws, a 1 year lease means a lifetime lease. Who wants to rent for life? Who the hell is the government determining rental increase rates at 2% when inflation was at 7-10%? \nI can get a 1 year lease, and that agreement should be honored, but after that, it should be a free market. \n\nIf a landlord were to charge double, would anyone live there? It would have to be competitive and more people with homes would want to do it. Now most people dont want to due to the rules and this creates the shortage.

Everyone that was struggling before, is struggling even harder Now, everyone is feeling this burn in any way, shape or form, and the cost of living in Canada is insanity. Services that were helping people, survive, are being cut and money being removed for other things. This doesn’t make sense. The basic necessities are becoming more of a problem to get and or too expensive to buy like for instance, toothpaste, deodorant…You cannot find it for under $10 for one stick of deodorant.

Too many in already, the question is how many are actually helping Canada grow or just squatting or causing headaches for locals? Have they started deporting undesirables? Majority could not afford housing, too expensive. High cost of living is too much for people getting base pay. Trudumb caused this disaster. The government needs to be revamp.

Why now ? On my LinkedIn I get people from all over the world who want to come, from Europeans to Brazilians and all these people contact me looking for opportunities. Our gov't prioritized low wage workers who they can practically enslave with minimum wage short term then turn around and kick them out.\n\nThis is the most egregious thing I've ever seen and they do it the most Canadian way too, with a smile and popish attitude. \n\nAll these Walmart, Tim Hortons, basically all these service jobs should be going to locals and locals ONLY! I've never seen an indian eating from Tim Hortons but 100% of the people who work there are indian. Why? because they're working in slave labor.

Seniors are forced to work long past 65 because we can't afford to stay in our apartments or our homes because of this true liberal communist government is more event on stealing taxpayers dollars to give themselves than to help the people of this great country I'm 68 years old I can't quit I owe the government money every year cuz they say I make too much so if 38,000 is too much that I don't know what is seniors should not be taxed at all. On our payroll checks they're already screwing us every time we go to the pumps every time we go to the store we still get screwed on taxes that we pay more than any other country in the world pays

Trudeau increased immigration from 1x to 4x in a very short span and the country has never been worse...he needs to visit Toronto and get out of his bubble. The church over at King and Church st.... The garden of edan they call it is filled with tents for the first time this summer. Never happened before. The quality of life for too many people is extremely difficult. The government programs within service ontario are also discriminating against Canadians. There for new comers for the most part despite our tax dollars paying for it and we cant get help. Need to pause immigration in its entirity intill a plan is in place that makes sense .

We all are dying by complications after COVID, so thanks a lot for your MAN, not buying time like cold blooded people. If no discrimination, I would go to the US and become a doctor by myself 20 years ago. It almost get deadline for fake equality. I'm from Thailand.
