The quality of medical care is comparable between the 2 countries, however Americans still have a shorter life expectancy (compared to all other developed nations, not just Canada) because co-pays, deductibles, and insurance premiums keep people from getting earlier diagnosis’ that would save their lives. \n\nI find that Americans see Canadian healthcare through an American lens, thinking that we can only go to certain doctors, cannot get second opinions, or that the medical industry isn’t competitive but none of that is true. Our healthcare allows us to go to go anywhere and to get second opinions if needed. We pay zero out of pocket and never see a bill.

Well as a American here for 10 years i have found that yes you do need to meet the requirements that are needed to work in this German country , learn the language and keep your skills up to date. Why do so many have a issue with it ? You have moved to another country with different work mind set. I also have been welcomed by everyone i meet . So i am confused by some of the comments here .

I don't know the reason as an outsider why the USA government has let all the illegals in to this country I never will, but at a guess one of the reasons might be because a lot of the Americans are on drugs right now and can't work, so they still need workers in the factories to keep the place going so they just employ cheap labour from other countries to take the place of people that can't work not to help the people of the USA to keep the country going.

Canada needs to have more than 3 major cities. So new immigrants should only be send to smaller, less populous cities. They need to invest, expand and grow other cities so we don't oversaturate 3 places while the rest of the country is stagnating. I can name way more than 3 economically vibrant American cities so we should have the same.

The influx the illegal immigrants migrating here is unstable. Were are no longer able to have migrants enter illegally, house, cloth and feed. They need to cease from entering illegally here, they are becoming a burden to American society.

Skilled workers are needed everywhere. They won't habe to go to Germany. Germany need cheap labor. Maybe offer visas and language courses to Latin American coutries. They have a similiar culture and are good people. But they would probably be unhappy in Germany.

Why so much bias against Indians? Do they need to really point out that it is only indians who are crossing us borders illegally? don't mexicans, south americans and even native canadians and americans illegally peddle drugs across the US Canada border? So, Those are not illegal, but if Indians do it even for feeding their family or for their basic survival, then thats worse thing compared to everything else going on. What are the companies employing them doing? They need to train their workers to smile. A lot of American employees do not smile at grocery shops and many Canadian drug addicts poop on the streets of Vancouver. Stop being an apologist and grow a spine. This unruly behavior is probably from students who think that they can get away with everything, like in India. The Canadian police needs to crackdown if these behaviors violate their laws. Whatever Indians are doing is no different than what anyone else does. You cannot force anyone to be good mannered. As long as they follow the law, they are good. Everyone’s personality is their own business.

People need to stop with this nonesense that Canadians, Americans and Europeans won't accept these kinds of jobs! It's just not true! The reality is that employers don't want to pay fair salaries and prefer cheap labour instead!

There are over 1,000,000 Indians here in America who came here on a tourist or student visa who never went back home once their visa expired. They are living here illegally. Thousands of Indians are flooding across our Southern border into the U.S. They then claim they are persecuted back home in the world’s biggest democracy and apply for political asylum. This is all very dishonest! Indians are coming here for economic reasons. And they have no interest in our American way of life here of freedom and equality. Proof of this is that we are having to pass new laws to prevent Indians from discriminating against their own fellow Indians! Higher caste Indians here are discriminating against the Dalits or so called ‘Untouchables’ who are also here. \n\nStay home! Make India a better place instead of flocking over to the USA and bringing all of your bad habits over here with you! Over 700,000,000 Indians don’t even have access to a toilet! I’ve been to India many times so I know all about the real India! Remain there in India and tackle this huge problem. Demand your government stop spending $Billions on new aircraft carriers and other military equipment and build new toilets for your own citizens instead so women and girls feel safe when they need to relieve themselves and so India won’t be so filthy and smelly! 10y in Germany, naturalized German now. I’ve done my PhD here and I have a great job in an American company. German society is possibly the most unwelcoming in the world, and I’ve lived and worked in 7 countries. Germany needs workers, but Germans hates foreign workers.

Please make sure you highlight on how China has retained it's Culture and identity which the Indians lack, we have an identity crisis too. Somehow anything that is Indian culture gets under the limelight of being not secular and being intolerant according to left lobby, I want you to highlight this.\n\nThere was a time when INDIA and CHINA used to be the global Superpower and China is on the path of being a Superpower once again where as for us long journey to go. Everyone needs to be mindful when they leave their country to go inhabit another. Be mindful of their customs and leave your racism and hatred in your old country. People are moving to countries on the continent of Africa and Asian countries and they are bringing their old mindset with them. There is no room for that ignorance. Canadian healthcare has lost the care. You can get excellent healthcare in foreign countries and not have wait times. The cost is lower too and you’re not paying Canadian taxes. Same story, also moved to Canada(French Canada!!! :D) when I was 4, I'm 32, been in Canada like 24 years. Easy fit, my Dad was Canadian, so got Naturalized easily. I left Canada at the end of 2020. Mostly because of Covid/Work Opportunities in engineering. Now living in the USA with my Canadian Wife and visiting Canada 2 months every year, also happen to be born American, so again, easy(easier**, still hard) move for me. Currently working in engineering, less travel experience, but I did get to visit or work for long period of time in 5 countries. Anyway, I do have similar opinion, I think the solution is a federal housing initiative. We NEED to build north and have more cities than Toronto,Montreal & Vancouver. It would reduce rent & mortgage by a lot. Essentially solving the ''where are we going to put all those immigrants issue'', then secondly, we need to encourage entrepreneurship and business a lot more. We need more jobs and be less reliant on our USA neighbors or EU neighbors 3. Better transport, surprisingly a lot of Canadian don't visit all other Canadian province and prefer traveling out , hell, I want nothern Canada & Nothern Quebec to be more like Alaska, or make it easier from someone from Quebec to move to Alberta, but still easy enough to visit family and friends in their home state in under 3 hours. ;)

One true answer: the bureaucracy and descrimination are intense and unecessary. I am an American, I have been living in Germany for 11 years. I have a wonderful German husband and two kids born here. I speak C1 level German and I am integrated. I am fully trained high school teacher. I am in a 'high needs field' which is special education. Does the system here need me? Yes.(especially beacause I am living a in a high needs, urban area) Does the system want me? No. You are consistently told you are not enough.

I wished to move to Canada 12 years ago. I am American. I was told that I needed a job and that job NEEDED to be filled. This would allow me to move there. I didn't move. Now with the migration crisis, too many immigrants at one time will overload the system and overpopulate a country. I fear with the climate crisis constantly reshaping our futures, that immigration will be an ongoing problem for the entire world. I believe countries must plan for even more immigration waves due to climate change. The Earth is changing...people will be moving to save their lives, to have a future. As human beings we must adapt to these pressures and changes in our planet. Make it livable, or else face the consequences of seeing millions of people die because you were unwilling to open your borders. There is room, just get rid of the greed. This planet , its peoples,must find ways to live together. Education, to keep the planet healthy, stop overpopulation, keep the air and water clean...stop the greed are the goals we must strive to follow.

Immigration will not STOP ANYTIME SOON. Canada should have foreseen that the country would need more people 30-40 years ago and provided the resources to encourage Canadians to birth more children. Salaries are laughable, childcare is overwhelmingly expensive, food is expensive, rent is high. How do you expect Canadians to birth 4 -5 children when they are earning significantly less than their American counterparts. Immigrants will continue to troop into Canada where we like it or not.

Canada’s quality of immigrants has gone down drastically over the years. That is the truth. While the US has upheld their standard, Canada seems to have slacked in that. That is the problem. You need quality immigrants coming in who can integrate without having to assimilate. You can maintain your cultural identity but also integrate into Canadian society similar to how the US allows. Canada I hope you get your immigration policies back on track. Your American neighbors worry about you.

As an Indian immigrant myself, I have tremendous sympathy for Canadians. \n\nThe so called diploma mills were always a danger but online classes during covid meant they could quadruple their attendance (and thus, their bottom line). The degrees offered by these colleges are worthless and that's why anyone who's moved to Canada in the last 4-5 years is finding it difficult to get meaningful employment.\n\nOn the other side, the Canadian dream really is sold as a cheaper and safer alternative to the American Dream. This is especially rampant in the state of Punjab where people from villages sell their ancestral property to move to Canada as students only to find the stalemate that is the job sector.\n\nThis in turn puts pressure on the economy, the housing market, and the welfare programmes. I think the immigration needs to halt for a while. A LOT of students are lacking in technical and linguistic skills to propel the Canadian economy and society forward and they'll need to not be given Permanent Residencies. PR should go to highly skilled immigrants who are integrating into the Canadian society instead of turning Brampton into mini India.
