Americans believe a failed con man to run the economy, with all those bankruptcies, among many other failures, that doesn’t seem smart

An american living in Germany. The Canadians were (and are) my neighbors. I grew up in Maine, and no one one should piss off Canadians, it can only go bad. But EXACTLY that is what trump wants, that everything goes bad. It is not only going bad, everything is going to shit, my fellow americans are too stupid to notice or care. This is gonna really backfire for the usa, either Civil War, or WW3, trump wants nothing less.

CNN celebrating an outgoing Prime Minister of a foreign county to give a “blistering speech” against the new American president, while when he does that, they fall apart in disbelieve and outrage!\n\nWhat else is “NEWs”?\n\nRename CNN Candian Network News, maybe. \n\nI used to watch CNN daily, now it’s just a turn-off. Literally. \n\nTrudeau has been a disaster for Canada and Canadians… and he’s being chased “out of town”, but if he attacs the US or even better Pres. Trump, he’s oh so cool and fashionable. \nBut is he?\nHe helped Trump get elected, just like the woke left and CNN. \n\nPad yourself on your shoulders, it wasn’t easy but you did it, well with the help of the rest of the left media. \n\nThanks!

Everyone thinks that this is Canada standing up, but what this means is that the Canadians with our economy that is 1/10 that of the US will be taxed at 25% on our imports, this is going to hurt canadians way more than the retaliatory terrifs will hurt the americans. This may also lead to an escalated response from the US exacerbating the effect. Trudeau and others can't seem to grasp that there may be a long term strategy from Trump and this is playing into it. \n\nThe truth of all of it is that Trump does not like Justin Trudeau or the Liberal government.

Trump is a total disaster for all Americans except the $Billionaires. Tariffs on America's main trading partners means that the American consumers, many of them MAGA Morons, are going to be hit a lot harder in the pocket as prices on their goods rocket. It’s really annoying that CNN continues to babble on instead of letting Trudeau finish his press conference and then proceed with their responses. As a Canadian - Trumps 'brilliance' has done one thing for sure, it's aligned all of the provinces against our neighbor and former ally the United States. It's done something we ourselves have had difficulty with - gaining support from Quebec. The overwhelming vast majority of Canadians don't trust the US anymore, as the legal justification for the tariffs is absolute bull, and is a pretext for Trumps actions. My family has cancelled all US travel, in my case 2 trips this year worth 15K to the US. I will miss Vegas for my 60th. We used to shop in WA State weekly; last year I spent 11K in WA State, and routinely took in shows in Seattle. No more. \n\nCan anyone please explain why Trump is screwing over Americans? Seriously.
