The official business in canada and police station are a joke i just last week went to get a criminal check to do uber and i oaid 250$ just to get a criminal check background but thats not all the way i was treated from the workers was dissturbing been living in this countru for over 14 years and never i have felt that type of discrimination as i did at york region police checks . I came to Calgary in 1983, and since then, I've seen Canada change for the better and worse. I moved back to my native country of Malaysia in 1997 and lived and worked there until 2012. I can honestly say that my native country is so much cheaper to live. I don't need to wait months to see a specialist and wait over an hour to see my family doctor despite already booking an appointment. Doctors just want to get you out of their office fast so they can see more patients. Got a second health concern, well, book another appointment. What a joke! In Malaysia, I can get full body check-ups, including x-ray, ECG, and blood work, including results the same day. What's the use of free health care if the service takes donkey months? I've decided to move back to Malaysia in about two year's time and enjoy the warm weather and cheaper cost of living. Canada is a GREAT country, but the elected government just screwed things up. Will miss the Calgary Stampede for sure.

The job market in Germany is incredibly challenging. Despite what people often say online, there simply aren't enough job opportunities available. Even when openings exist, most companies require a B2 or C1 level of German proficiency. Achieving this level of fluency within 2-3 years, while also balancing the demands of studying and completing a degree, is an unrealistic expectation for most students. Note, It's no joke to pursue a degree in Germany. It's a significant challenge on its own.

We don't need any more people here, unless those people are highly skilled professionals in high demand - like doctors. The majority of people here are struggling, housing is unaffordable and in short supply, our health care system is a complete joke, inflation is out of control in parity to wage increases, and the liberal administration is incompetent, corrupt and wasteful.

Canadian immigration is a joke. I earned a masters here from a reputed university, spent so much time and money, 6 years later I became a permanent resident. I was so grateful. Now, anyone with a sob story in the name of “persecution” can just come here and actually get government money for a good while to settle in. And now, we have entire flight crews just simply “claiming” asylum. The government has made everyone who took the right channels, faced so many hardships in the way are effing losers who could’ve just gotten in through the many bogus channels. i love this country, but it has gone to the dogs steadily since 2015.
