Nothing quite like learning a lesson the hard way. I've noticed in Britain that a politically moderate conservative belief is emerging. Britain has been subjected to the two extremes of the aristocracy and leftists leaving the majority of Brits terrible abused and neglected. Both the US and Britain need to get back in touch with their liberty roots. In Britain, the Muslims may just help that along. The 'Golden Age' of Islam was nothing more than battle after bloody battle as Islam swept across Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, massacring, raping, forcibly converting and enslaving. That Spain justifyably fought the invading Muslims and became the great country it is today gives us hope that Islam has a limited life, and like all oppressive dictatorship death cults, will one day breathe its last. There will be a great rejoicing and freedom for the world on that wonderful day.
