You know, we in the US used to resent Canada because they seemed kinder and more generous. We were jealous of that. Americans seemed harsher and greedy. Now I feel very sorry for Canadians. It is already a seriously divided country . And it looks like if they continue with generosity to these immigrant hordes they are going to be overwhelmed . What a shame!! Such nice caring people. They are being fleeced and are beginning to look foolish

Should have applied legally, then would have all your money and know you would or would not have been accepted in Canada. You want to take illegal shortcuts that is the risk you take to break our laws. Don't feel sorry for you at all.

As a kiwi who lived in Canada for a while, this wouldn't surprise me if it happened in the US but Canada.... They are better than this and I'm sorry they have some crazy lady misrepresenting how awesome they are

A mere 20,000 sent to Canada last year? We get hundreds of thousands each year in the U.S! I feel sorry for these people because they are being used by the rotten liberal organizations, media and congress people, but the illegal immigrants need to be responsible for finding out the truth (hint: don't listen to liberal media and organizations) before uprooting and putting themselves in a worse position.

Ice is sending all illegals backs costing citizens to much when they don't work and demand things that really their not even suppose to get . They work the minimum if that and then stay on welfare while everyone else who works taxes go up bunch of free loaders . In fact we are cutting welfare and and benefits because of this we try to be nice but when we are token advantage of . Sorry are states are full of these freeloaders were also cutting letting people in because they don't do anything but demand money when their not even suppose to get in the first place then they hate us anyway and go around flying their damm flag around hollering Mexico . Mexico don't even want them they refuse to take them . They are just using them to get votes . We have enough people Canada can keep them . If he get caught here they will jail him. We are tired of the Victim act many people here have issues here to . United States has taken care of everyone around the whole world when war happens , trading but we get the short stick everytime . Beside when war break out which it will. Do you really think United States is the safest considering we're Babylon. Tell me something why are Hollywood people moving to different places ? It's only a matter of time .

I'm not sorry for him since he and his wife broke the law and yet here he is feeling entitled that he should have been given the right to stay in Canada just because he escaped from El Salvador 15 years ago. And since he's denied asylum in Canada, he's an illegal there also as he was in the US.
|
| 2018-08-02 | 1 |
So,the illegal from mexico snuck across the border to canada, now he is not happy,, dont come back here, we will prosecute you,,sorry it was el salvadore..he wanted asylum, last year 20,000 people came from united states,,,canada is not letting them stay,, canada has laws also..send them back, dont let them stay,,the only way to let them know,

Sorry Canada, we have just dumped millions of illiterate, conservative, unskilled pendu people on you!

Sorry America. Canada doesn't commit child abuse by ripping children from their parents at the border and stuffing them in cages like animals. I know. Strange aaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy??? The expression on tucker douchebag's face is so funny. He looks perpetually confused lol.

I live in Toronto, Canada.\n\nFirstly, their are 500 men, women and children being placed in hotels temporarily. Much better than cages! \n\nSecondly, these individuals have already gone through the immigration process, hearing claims, back ground checks, medical checks. So these individuals in hotels have already been accepted to stay in Canada. They are in hotels due to Housing shortage issue. \n\nThird, way more illegal immigrants have been detained and removed from Canada. \n\nFourth, most of these people are families. Canada is very skeptical of accepting males. Sorry guys! \n\nFifth, these hotels have a contract with the government. These are the same hotels that were used to temporarily shelter Syrian refugees. Usually 3-4 families stay in one hotel. 500 people won't be staying in the same hotel. Plus the hotels charge the government an insane amount. So they make money. \n\nSixth, more than 10% of hotel cleaning jobs go unfilled. Guess what? Most of these asylum seekers end up working in the hotels they're staying in because of program called Employing Newcomers in Canadian Hotels Project. \n\nDon't worry about us America we know what we're doing. Trust me, no children were separated from their families and placed in cages.

Am glad these insensitive & narrow-minded Indians are not in India but I equally feel sorry for Canada. I live outside of India and my only motive is to explore & make earnings. I can live anywhere as long as I get paid well. India is a good place if you make top money & its full of investment opportunities. I love Mumbai and I spent a lot of time there every year or two.

I'm supposed to feel bad for a guy that is in Canada illegally? Sorry i guess.
|
| 2018-07-23 | 0 |
I feel sorry for the guy, but the way it seems for many people who want to come to Canada or America is that they think we are going to let them in no questions asked and we have unlimited resources to help them. Yes we are fortunate enough to be wealthier than most other countries, but that does not mean we are able to accommodate every single person who wants to live in our country
|
| 2018-07-19 | 0 |
I feel for them yes. But I can’t respect that he’s breaking laws knowing the laws and smart enough to get around them. \nIf he’s so smart then he can read and understand you can’t just walk into another persons home.. \nagain I’m sorry but people abusing a system I can’t respect. It would be hard for me even to go to Canada by the rules set. But I’d still try rather than become a criminal and then complain why you aren’t accepted..
|
| 2018-07-17 | 0 |
if someone was being that disrespectful to me i would be feeling really tempted to throw a drink in her face or dump one on her head. and i would feel sorry but only for the drink. they might not own Canada but neither does she.

I don’t know whether to believe him or call him a liar because if he had $15,000. $15,000!!! in Mexico do you understand the life you could live not saying you would be in a mansion but you would live comfortably enough to do it correctly file paperwork the way it supposed to be done wait your time and then move into America everybody thinks Canada so great but they don’t realize that Justin Trudeau is a lying piece of shit he may say one thing but Canada as a country follow the law that they have set for immigrants #fail sorry you thought Canada was better than the U.S.A
|
| 2018-06-27 | 0 |
What, Canada has borders, and they have standards, oh, im sorry.....there you go. Back to El Salvador. Are they having a fit with Trudeau for separating this family? No i dont think so, because he is a liberal. A LIBERAL.
|
| 2018-06-27 | 0 |
It's hard to feel sorry for him when he's been in both the US & Canada but still doesn't know English. Come on bro.
|
| 2018-06-24 | 7 |
People who can't speak the national language shouldn't be moving to another country especially not illegally. I can't feel sorry for this guy. I mean sure he's probably had a rough time but having kids and then trying to illegally immigrate just doesn't seem like the right way to try to live life especially not to raise a child in. \n\nIf you want to better yourself and your family learn the language and properly apply for a visa and come work here and contribute. Show Canada that your a worthy addition and eventually you can legally immigrate here. Trying to sneak in and avoid being deported isn't the way to go and it will never help your family in the long run.

LMAO LMAO.....I can't stop laughing about her comment on paying taxes. Is she that stupid??? Being drunk is just an excuse, she is sorry racist pityful excuse for a human being. What an example for her children to behave that way. Her kids must be ashamed and disappointed in how she behaved..I would be if my mother behaved that way in public. Kudos to the company and boss who fired her. She should be charged for threats and assault. C'mon women, let's be classy and behave like ladies, ...clearly she comes off uneducated, unruly, narrow minded, have no knowledge of the outside world at all. Someone should wash her mouth with diesel or something.....it is very foul and laughable. I don't think she will be very employable person with that kind of attitude and behavior. NOT ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR IN ALBERTA, QUEBEC, CANADA, OR ANY OTHER COUNTRY KELLY POCHA - AND I AM WRITING IT IN ENGLISH!

I'm sorry to hear this - Lost cases are so Rare in Canada - We're usually much more welcoming. However, is it really lost - I have a feeling that's he's an illegal immigrant, which I don't support - Everyone, wherever they are from, needs to go through the system. And The Basics, such as knowing the English language, is a must! Especially if you got a family, no one is going to hire someone without the basics.
|
| 2018-04-16 | 0 |
Am I suppose to feel sorry for this guy? How long did he live in the states? Then tries to move to Canada. The only English I heard from him was two words at the end. If I want to move to France I learn French. Russia, Russian. America, English. Canada, English or French. What good is he doing for either country? No sympathy from me and I'm married to a Mexican.

Sorry man ya gamble wrong should have stayed in USA people think Canada is such a great place for illegal immigrants but think again.
|
| 2018-03-15 | 0 |
Laws are laws you seek asylum in the first safe landing not your choice of wherever whenever. Why then can I not leave Canada and go live in another country undocumented then when I fear deportation just go to another country? Because it's illegal yeah. Ugh we are not here to be used and walk all over like a doormat especially if you are not working and paying taxes but taking everything you can get. There are plenty of people in dangerous situations like ukrane and other war torn areas that legit need a place he and his family were already in the US they shouldn't have left there to make fake claims here. Sorry but that's not how it works.
|
| 2018-03-15 | 0 |
Please keep your illegal immigrants in the US, we don't want their sorry asses in Canada. We want legal immigration only....
|

Should have done things the legal way....its his own fault for all of it....i dont feel sorry at all and vice ...why dont you use your program to make it look like my great country canada doesnt care.....ugghhh

I feel sorry for this man and his family! But I wonder how sorry he feels, knowing that by coming to Canada, he and his fellow immigrant countrymen have, taken jobs away from Canadians? 1500 people like myself that have worked here all their lives? I was working in the meat industry for over fifteen years, just to have my employer, take my skilled job and give it too an unskilled worker, under the temporary foreign worker program. That program was set up by the federal government for unskilled workers, coming to Canada for unskilled jobs that Canadians didn't want. My job was a skilled job, that I had to work my way up from the bottom, to the level of employment, that only skilled workers were capable of doing. This temp program was for unskilled employment only! But if your employer is big enough in the industry, the government allows them to bend the laws of the land, and give your jobs to any undereducated immigrant that comes along...WTF? Canada wake up!!!

This is a sad story for this poor guy and I feel sorry for him.But how can anyone live in a country for more than 15 years and not speak the country's language fluently?.It really boggles my mind.C'mon.If I were to live in Germany then I'd make sure that I could speak German before moving over there. That's a crying shame.Shame on him for not speaking English while living all this time in America.I reckon that many of these illegal immigrants from Hispanic communities just don't seem to care to learn the language or to assimilate to our culture and traditions. They give us the impression that all that they want is the benefits that the country has to offer them.I guess immigration on both countries should deport the ones who've been living in the country illegally for many years and can't speak the language or don't wanna assimilate. There's just no excuse for not learning the language during all this time that he had lived in America.\nOn the other hand these people are morons for trying to go to Canada.Canada's immigration laws are pretty restricted and even tougher than in the United States.Canada will never give them a heart felt warm welcome and they should know better. They should know that Canada is a POINT OF NO RETURN.

Vice seriously your losing all credibility. Put up a big story about this dudes sob case. Only getting his side of the story.. of coarse he’s going to paint the picture of being a victim. “The lawyer lost my file” sounds like bullshit. Then he gets ordered to show up at the court house and doesn’t show on purpose.. then complains about being in Canada. Well I’m sorry to tell you man but The states wouldn’t take you either. And evading the government won’t be helping your case.
|

This is sad, however this man knew he was breaking the law when he brought himself and his family into the US illegally and then into Canada. It’s hard to feel sorry for someone who is trying to undermine policy and law. Many ppl in prison are separated from their families too, should we start releasing them because it’s sad to see families be apart?
|
| 2018-02-17 | 0 |
While i feel bad for this family, they cannot say they are refugees as they were refugees when they entered America yrs ago but they are not if they go from being away from their birth country for over a decade! I'm sorry but you ain't no refugee in Canada \nHere in Australia we have very tight immigration laws and its absolutely harder to get here as our country stands alone we have no linking countries.

I think Justin Trudeau is the best Prime Minister Canada has ever. Canada is very lucky to have him and sorry for the U.S.A.
|
| 2018-02-01 | 15 |
So he sneaks into the US and stays for 15 years illegally. And didn't pick up any English in that time? Or didn't bother. Then he decides to illegally enter Canada. Unlike his extended illegal stay in the US, he went through the proper legal process in Canada and was rejected. Then skipped a meeting with officials and moved his family and by doing so, cheated the system, thus expending his illegal stay.\nWhy am I supposed to feel sorry for him? Seems like he's an opportunist and a career criminal.
|

I feel sorry for him and his family, I don't know much about Canada, I but from what I heard they are EVEN STRICTER than the US aren't they?

I am actually shocked to see this information. I did not know. I travelled to Vancouver & Vancouver Island 5X. 2X with my African-American girlfriend. I didn't see any biased behavior at all. Of course, I was not looking for it. We were treated courteously on both sides of the boarder. My grandmother was held as a White slave for most of her youth (indentured servant) in Canada. So, I knew through her that it was one of the possibilities. I am sorry to learn of it. This is a great issue for Americans to get over.

Is bringing in more Muslim refugees into Canada a threat ? Well look at the UK, Germany, Sweden etc...on YouTube .There is your answer. Sorry but Stephen Harper was right on his position. Islam culture does not mix well in western cultures.
