Trump’s tariffs on Canada and Mexico were NEVER about war.\n? They were about fixing the disastrous trade policies that robbed America.\n? They were about holding globalist-controlled governments accountable.\n\nThe media won’t tell you that Canada and Mexico have been taking advantage of the U.S. through unfair trade deals while at the same time allowing the floodgates of illegal immigration and drugs to pour into our country.\n\t•\tCanada benefited from one-sided trade deals while standing by as China dumped goods into the U.S. through Canadian ports.\n\t•\tMexico allowed cartels to smuggle in drugs, human traffickers, and illegal immigrants, all while American jobs were shipped overseas.\n\nTrump’s tariffs were a move to put AMERICA FIRST, not an attack on our neighbors. He was forcing them to negotiate fairly—something the corrupt elites NEVER wanted.

We now have a criminal administration in the US if that were not enough the leader is also crazy. Americans are only just starting to feel the pain his policies will bring to us and now even more to Canadians whose economy is in a more fragile state than ours. The silver lining is American people will stand with the people of other countries including Canadians to take back their power from a would be dictator who cares not about people but only the bottom line. One thing is remarkable. He spells out all these while assuring the Canadian people the government will stand by them through the tough moments and expand benefits to mitigate the situation. I don’t know if Americans will be getting the same treatment from the federal government.

Canadian here. I'm gonna buy whatever my wallet can afford. If it's American made and is 5 cents cheaper, I am buying it over the Canadian product. By the way Canadians, why aren't you super upset about the 20% Carbon Tax increase that's going to hit us April 1st. We have our own issues that we need to deal with here first. It should be interest to all Canadian businesses using rigid plastic containers (bottles, jars etc.) that ALL of the major manufacturers and distributors of these products are American owned companies operating in Canada. There are excellent Canadian operations supplying these items at better pricing in most cases.

As a European having lived in both Canada and the United States for prolonged times, my view is this: Canadians are basically the same as Americans but with Health Care. They have a common heritage and history and this is like a brother turning evil and hurting its siblings. Trump is smart? I don't think so, he comes across as a low IQ individual born with privileges, heck he has been bankrupt what is it four times?
